Easy install, great coverage, useful features. Purchased to replace older Linksys router. Have had no drops in coverage in 2-story 2500+ square ft home. Manages multiple devices with no issues. Would definitely purchase Linksys products again. Best Buy honored price match without any hassle. Overall very positive shopping experience and superb wifi router.

I have only had this product a couple of days. In that time, I have found that it truly speeded up our wifi. Took me a minute to get everything set up but overall great device.

I soon realized the router was the issue and this AC router definitely performs and sets the standard, not only are all my devices connected but you can set device prioritization through the free mobile app... definitely recommend!!!!

    Excellent Router For Concrete/Steel Building

I bought this router in hopes of solving our WiFi issue in our 2-story office which is all concrete & steel construction. This router solved that issue and was very easy to setup. I really like the mobile app that you can use to administer the router itself.

    Robust and Efficient AC Router

This router was an emergency replacement for a previous AC router that died. In store this seemed to be the best option for us and technically and upgrade on the previous brand that we had. Easy to install and this is much more robust than the Netgear Nighthawk! Build wise this is really good, I don't feel like the antennae will break easily. Easy to setup and has been running smoothly for a month.

Super Tri-Band router with 3yr Warranty and free Tech support. Included a WiFi USB adapter that allows my laptop to be used poolside far from the main house. I have my laptop and my cell phone on the 5ghz network an rest of family using the 2ghz. My desktop and xbox wired directly to my Max-Stream router. Worth every penny!!!

    Excellent router

Pros: The router has good range, an easy setup, and handles multiple devices with ease. Cons: The app could use a makeover as it does not give you all of the functionality that using a browser does. But if your using an iPhone iOS you only use the app (no browser) but strangely enough an iPad iOS is compatible.

Before I got this I was using a Comcast modem/router combo that was just ok. This router has more power and range that I could ever ask for. The setup took a little bit of time to figure out how to connect to my existing equipment, but once I figured it out it didn't take very much time. My one big gripe is that it is an eyesore. If I was living by myself I wouldn't mind, however, my wife like to refer to it as the "spider monstrosity". If your router is located in plane sight, take this into consideration since its size and form may be a deal breaker for some.

The most powerful personal router I've come across

I have over 25 devices, with constant 4K streaming, and online gaming. With this said I still don't believe the router was force to its max potential. I never had any issues, the set up was extremely easy. On top of that the user interface within the Linksys app is amazing, so much to control with a simple app.

I have 150mgb through Cox. My Netgear Nighthawk X8 topped out at around 170-180. This is certainly nothing to complain about, but it was swiftly losing its ability to keep up with my growing home network. Then of course comes the lagging, dropped signals, stuff that you'd think you'd not have to deal with for a loooong time on a $400 piece of hardware! So, got online and just started poking around to see what's out there. The Linksys Max-Stream was one of the 1st that came up, had a few good ratings (was still brand new to the market at this time) and the best part, had an awesome sale going on! I figured it was a sign, Best Buy has a great return policy...what'd I have to lose? This thing is an absolute MONSTER! After some configuring and tweaks here and there, an Ookla speed test had me typing it at nearly 220mgbs! Granted, being a network security administrator, I know more than the average bear, but the interface was so simple that I'm quite convinced that almost anyone could configure this bad boy! Thank you Linksys for having one of the easiest user interfaces!

I like how linksys has developed a fast and out of the box secure process for this and several other routers. I didn't do a lot of customized set up but it seems possible. The triband with auto switching keeps the speeds up there. It is pretty big so make sure you can find the space for it.

Router was easy to set up (I had a lynksys router as my last router, image is old vs new). The app is amazing! Router has provided smooth streaming of a movie in one room while an Xbox 1 was in use in another room and a MacBook in another room. 3 year warranty helped in my decision to buy also.

Great wifi router! I have about 100 connected devices in my home, also stream 4K. I get 170 Mbps up and down consistently with it. The range on 5ghz is about the same as all other dual bands. I did change the channel width on the 5 ghz to 40 and it helped stabilize connection to my apple products.

My house used to suffer from dead zones, but now I can get WiFi from even outside. The speeds are also reliable and never drop or fluctuate. It's quite an expensive router, but with newer and higher internet speeds on the horizon, this is a superb router that will get its money worth.

Great overall router. Easy setup and straight forward controls. Was able to set up in a few minutes. Great range and speed is absolutely awesome for everything! Does 4k streaming well and holds up to multiple devices using it at the same time and distributes the bandwidth well.

So I was an apple airport extreme customer prior to getting this device. With apple discontinuing yet another product line I figured I should look. I was skeptical at first because I had 2 airports to give me coverage and act in bridged mode. But per review and discussion I figured I would try. I have a brick building and sometimes coverage is tough. Not with this guy and signal is strong and good. Only a few select and really hard parts this can't cover but it's the same gap as the 2 airport extreme devices but just with one. The only issue I had but quickly resolved is with the new Samsung galaxy tab s3, it had slow authentication at times but would then resolve and be quick. Working with linksys and with observations we disabled ipv6 and it solved it. I think my carrier doesn't support it yet and therefore an issue until handshakes with ipv4. Everything is smooth and perfect with this and would highly recommend it

Best router I ever owned... Easy to setup and long range. Make sure that you setup 2 or 3 different band to get the most of your router. That way you will always connect to the low or high band depending on the distance. I really enjoy the experiences with Linksys....

Purchased this upon moving into a new house. Router sits in the the corner and covers all 3,400 square feet without dead spots (main floor, upstairs, and basement included). Good reliability, haven't had to touch it since initial setup 5 months ago. Would recommend!
