Love the tri-band WiFi and the 8 ethernet ports are key! The speed is great. I have 2 TV's, 2 Xboxes, 2 computers, a PS4 Pro, a Nintendo Switch, an Android tablet, and an iPad all connected simultaneously with no issues.

I have this router for some time and I love the 8 Ethernet ports. I have a NAS connected device and have hard wired my desktop, Apple TV and laptop (at times). I get about the same speed wirelessly than hard wired (210 mb/s)

The item saves you the hassle of paying monthly rental service from cable companies, so it is worth the purchase. However, installation and setup are cumbersome to say the least. I had to call the cable company for help and item still not set up completely. Also item is bulky, cable modem was hidden behind TV this item here it's own shelf!

My router is running very fast and works well. Replaced the one which I rented from the cable company and I am so glad that I did. I am getting better coverage and a faster speed all around the house.

Literally goes through my whole house with no issues. I have a digital family and we all are able to get on the internet with no issues. We also see no drop in speeds, as we watch 4k and game at the same time.

Extremely easy to set up, and the smart WiFi functionality of it is fantastic. Even though the max speed isn't supported by most Internet service providers, the connection speed from device to device is incredible.

    Best Linksys router ever

I've been a huge fan of Linksys products since my very first 802.11b WRT router back in the early 2000's. I've probably purchased over a dozen Linksys routers over the years for various locations and jobs, but this one has definitely beat all my expectations. In a 2,500 sq ft bi-level home, i placed the EA9500/AC5400 in one corner of the lower level and the resident in his upper level room on the other side of the home has full signal. Throughput drops a bit, but the signal is never lost. Everything else, admin console and features are almost exactly as you would expect from Linksys. The resident is happy and in turn, i'm happy. This unit has now been at work since the first week of December 2016 and I've not heard a single complaint.

Great higher end router for all your streaming nee

I have owned Linksys routers before that's why I continue choosing their products. They have a very easy to use and very detailed user interface to use to set controls on your 1 or 5 G bands. You can also select priority devices. It's able to handle multiple computers, laptops, phones, tablets and TV's streaming from Netflix or Hulu, etc. Great range. I have it upstairs in one end of our home and it has plenty of reach to the downstairs TV on the opposite end of the home. I have had to call customer service a couple times and I must say, the wait is short and their professionalism is top notch. They will have you up and running in no time.

    Awesome Router AKA Router MOD

Router looks very intimidating but under all those antennas and big exterior there's a very friendly fast and very easy Router to set up. Love the router extremely fast and strong signal all throughout my three bedroom apartment. I live in an older building so that means thick walls a lot to get around and through. Not a problem for this router I have signal from front of the apartment all the way to the very last bedroom even outside my apartment I would say well over 30 feet outside my home. STRONG SIGNAL. Great for a lot of devices in my home. 3 4K Smart TVs, 3 blue Ray players, 4 iPhones and 4 iPads even a 4K Fire TV media player. Router is a CHAMP. More power than I need but I couldn't pass on the Cyber Monday deal. Must have!!!!!

    It keeps things connected

So here's the situation - We have 11 Sonos Wifi Speakers, 3 Amazon TV Sticks, 2 Apple TVs, 6 Amazon Echos, 1 Google Play, 5 Cellphones, Various Ethernet Medical Devices, 10 computers and 27 local and remote specialized IP devices (that are on 24/7). That's a lot of stuff. Our prior Linksys E3000 was having trouble keeping up. There would be dropped connections and some areas where extenders were needed. (Extenders work well, but have their own problems). We installed this new router and BAM! all the connection issues are gone. I mean - What good is technology if it isn't connected when you need it? This router keeps our stuff connected, accessible and that just makes our lives work. That's right - This router makes our lives work!

I needed a beefy router that can power my home WiFi system, after owning all Netgears ( which are a great). I chose this one due to the UI on the linksys app, its very straight forward and easy to set up. My other positive is that I can be anywhere on my property and receive a great signal. Great product Linksys.

    So Far, So Great

Snagged this product for my parents and I --- a total upgrade. Went from an N600 Dual-Band Netgear Router to this, and wow, what a difference it makes. We are paying for 100mbps service through Charter Communications. We now pull approximately 135mpbs download, more than what we pay for, AND it's over-the-air (OTA). Plugged into the Gigabit ports on the back? Same experience...speed maxes out around 135mpbs download. If you want to never, ever, worry about dropouts in your house, speed issues, or any other related problems to wireless and wired networking in-home, this is the closest you can get to a business-grade router. Expect big, expect bulky. But expect the best wi-fi you've ever had.

Great, easy to setup and get started and fast. Had another router break - replaced it with this one and was up and running in minutes. Works very well in an environment where it is getting a lot of use.

Nice throughput and truly close to Enterprise quality. Most importantly the warranty is 3yrs. Still really huge unlike enterprise products that can mount in a rack and the wireless AP's can look like smoke detectors. They still go for the wow factor with all the antenna's but the fastest consumer router I have tested to date.

This is the best router I've ever owned. Range has been so significantly improved I no longer need to use an extender. Setup was also a breeze. Hasn't crashed on me once in the six months I've owned it.

I bought this router to replace the default wifi portion of my AT&T modem. It is much faster despite having 6+ devices on it. It was easy to configure and I like the reporting/monitoring features.

Excellent router for noisy wi-fi areas.

I life in a high-rise in downtown Chicago and, needless to say, I am surrounded by hundreds of wifi networks. What's more, I like to keep my router hidden in a closet. These conditions can really trip-up even some of the higher end routers when it comes to having a stable, fast signal even during the busiest hours when everyone is on wifi home or at a coffee shop nearby. This router is hands-down the best router I've used in this environment. I have Xfinity 300Mbps internet and I have a stable throughput at all hours reaching up to 350Mbps on multiple bandwidth-hungry devices, simultaneously. If you live in an area with a lot of wifi networks or have a very large home, this is the router to buy.
