Awesome router. Streaming and gaming run smoothly. No loss of speed. Very pleased.

I have been using the EA7500 for about a year and never had a single problem with range or speed. So when I upgraded to the EA9300 I was more than pleased with the performance! First thing I noticed was the overall physical size. The EA9300 is HUGE compared to the EA7500. The size doesn't effect anything, just had to get it off my chest. :) There's 2 obvious features that I immediately noticed while using it... the speed consistency and improved range. I have Charter's 60 mbps service and would get 62-65 range while running the speed test. As for range? With the EA7500, I could get 3 bars service across the street from my apartment complex. With the EA9300? 5 out of 6 bars! Overall, with roughly 20 wifi (both 2.4 & 5 ghz) & 5 LAN devices, connected to the EA9300, this beast holds it DOWN! Best router I have used so far! To the future and beyond! (till the next release) Thanks.

This router is very good overall, but had since issues setting up. After connecting the router my browser automatically detected the Linksys setup site. My immediate thoughts were "nice, I'm in! " This was not the case. There were several hiccups upon installation and my computer lost connectivity with the router a few times. I even had to reset my network driver once on my laptop. Once complete I then tried to disable the guest network via the admin site and it lost connectivity again. Finally it was set up and ready to be left alone to test. Setup overall took way longer than I expected. Once hooked up I logged on and checked the 2.4 ghz speed and was not very impressed. When I checked the 5 ghz speed the results were way better. The range on the signal is exceptional and goes throughout my entire house. Overall a very good router, but setup could be a little better.

This router is super fast. I like the features of the beam forming technology so that I never lose wifi to another device. The phone app for android makes controlling the router functions and features a breeze. Buy this router, you won't regret it!

I purchased this based on reading a number of reviews and tests, after upgrading our ISP to 1Gig service. As reported, set-up was easy, and throughput speeds are crazy fast. The range wasn't as good as I was hoping, but it's decent. I live in a 100+ year old narrow twin home with brick exterior walls and plaster interior walls. Based on the rating for very large homes, I thought it would provide a stronger signal into our yard. It is absolutely consistent within the house, delivering 200-300 mbps on the 5hz channels, but the signal can drop in front and behind our house. Not a problem, just less range than I expected. Overall, very happy with this purchase, even at the relatively high price.

I would totally give this router 5 stars for its signal strength, ease of use, device prioritization, and overall usability. I live in a two story home and I was pleasantly surprised that most areas still connected with decent 5Ghz connection. Where it really fell short was the number of connections. I have about 25 Wemo switches, plugs, light bulbs, multiple Apple TVs, 5 Macbooks, iMac, a windows PC, multiple iOS devices, multiple Android devices, connected TVs, connected DVD players, Alexa in every room, a couple of Google Homes, Nest, August Locks, and so on and so on. And when I recently tried connecting a new Dyson Air purifier, it got stuck. I thought it was because it wasn't connecting to 2.4Ghz so I tried an older device that I took out of the archives, but even that didn't connect. I was in a state of panic. So I took back the Linksys router and exchanged for a Netgear X10. Voila!! Everything worked! I now have 53 connections on my Netgear X10 working beautifully. All that said, if you have less than 50 connections, it's a great router with great range and worthy of 5 stars. But if you are like many people trying to make your home "smart", you will easily surpass 50 connections and this router will become unusable. So, I would recommend this to a friend with a big caveat.

Hi, LongLiveAnalogue,
Your EA9300 router should be capable of handling all your networking devices. We regret to hear that the router is no longer with you as we could have tapped one of our Escalation Engineers to optimize your router settings. Should you have other Linksys device that needs assistance, we're just an email away at LinksysCares@linksys.com. We'd be more than happy to serve you.
Best regards,

Bought this to replace the inadequate router provided by my ISP. This is able to deliver the speed I’m paying for (80 mbps) througout my entire house without issue.. have numerous WiFi devices that can be used seamlessly together. It is a bit bulky and heavy if you are concerned about size. Mine is mounted in the garage so no issue except the mounting holes are only able to accept VERY small screws or nails. It’s heavy enough I didn’t trust 4 small nails. Quick trip to the hardware store and it’s safely and securely up on the wall!

It's a bit bulky and the interface lacks compared to others but it works flawlessly. I have a two story house and the range is amazing. So far no issue at all. Setup was a breeze and runs quietly and cool. I would highly recommend this router to anyone who need range and reliability

Fast, good range(my phone stayed connected 150ft away) and easy setup. Only thing I didn't like was the price.

Had a lynksys N router. With the multiple laptops, tablets, phones, tv’s etc. this upgrade was a win all around. Great range and fast speeds make this a great purchase. Lynksys quality is also a plus.

This replaced a netgear nighthawk router that was dropping wifi regularly. The Linksys router was quick to set up, and great range through my house. Remote admin, control access by device.

The router works great and gives great while house coverage. Two story home 3600 sqft and no dead spots. The setup is a breeze and the app gives you great control over the router.

Super fast, easy to install, affordable price, my 75 mbps internet plan was bad because of my previous device went up from 16 mbps to 89 mbps .... with this update.

Works with Alexa which is great. Their new models keep getting better and better. A greatly valued MU-MIMO router. It's a bit hefty in size like a 6 legged spider, but not as big as its 8 legged counter part. It's great that it has a lot of ports too.

My previous dual-band router was overloaded by my households 20-30 connected devices and often dropped one-two or lost too much data. This one has 2 5.0Ghz bands and really utilizes it. I get further range, no disconnects, and have not had to reset in 60 days. It's not as big as it looks and setup is a breeze.
