Struggled connecting to the router even when it was right next to it. When finally I got it set up it drops network signal at least twice a week where I have to unplug it and plug it back in.

Let’s ensure that the range extender is getting a good and stable connection from the main router. Consider restarting your entire network as well, as doing so can help refreshing the connection. Also, make sure that the RE7350 is utilizing the latest firmware version for optimal functionality.
