Wifi could be a little stronger. I have it right outside my door and I only get a ”good” signal. Don’t know what others were talking about about the setup—I found it very easy.

    Extender needed or not?

I bought a new router and didn't have enough coverage for my house. The sales person talked me into getting the extender. It works fine. Not sure my router would have done just as well without it. I notice sometime my router has lost connection and has two bars but my extender always has 3 bars.

Set up is easy but connection kept dropping and reconnecting when the router was only 40 feet away

      Hi, Chris,

Several factors may warrant investigation, including identifying potential sources of wireless interference in the area. Additionally, ensure that the extender is operating on the latest firmware and verify the stability of the connection directly from the router. For further assistance, please contact us at [email protected]. Kindly include your contact information and a link to this review for our reference.

Has a ok signal but trying to connect using the app or website is impossible. I like to know when it’s actually connected. Cost too much for a product that keeps dropping connection to my modem

I guess this did the job of extending the range of my wi-fi. However, I did not realize it would actually set up another wi-fi channel with a different name. Too confusing - and my reception in the far corner of the house isn't as bad as I thought. So I returned it - it wasn't worth $100 to me.

I previously had a NetGear extender that whenever my WiFi router rebooted, it did not automatically reconnect. Since my WiFi router is a Linksys, I thought I'd give this one a try and I am glad I did! This Linksys - Max Stream has been rock solid since the initial setup, which by the way, was straightforward and easy to do. I am very happy with this product and highly recommend it.

First time purchasing an Extender. I'm happy with it's performance. Primarily got it for having an ethernet port. Set up was relatively smooth. It's a bit bigger than I thought it would be but it's not a problem for me.

Good Wifi Extender with a minor issue

Good wifi extender, the only issue I have with it is that I have noticed that after a couple of weeks it seems to start losing its connection with my ATT Wifi Modem which the only thing that seems to fix it is unplugging it and replugging it in. Other than that it works great!

      Hi, ChrisJax,

If the connection from the AT&T device is stable while the extender loses connection, try to check if its firmware is up to date. If that won’t help, we’ll have our Escalation Engineers check further what’s causing the challenge. Say goodbye to low-resolution feeds

I use streaming cable. My main router is not far from the TV but there's too many walls in between so sometimes all I see is a low resolution feed. I plugged the range extender at the nearest AC from the TV and used an ethernet cable to connect it through the port below the extender instead of connecting to it wirelessly. I have yet to see a low resolution feed from my streaming cable during the past two weeks that I have been using it.

We have a Samsung TV and apparently they are notorious for have poor wifi antenna's. We got brand new wifi mesh system and the tv kept dropping wifi. I got this and it works great. The only downside is the thickness of the unit. I have the tv mount on a moving bracket and it is slightly to thick for the bracket to move smoothly.
