I previously had a net gear wireless adapter. It had difficult soft ware to install and kept dropping the connection. The company wasn't much help. They said it was out of warantee and didn't offer any options. This unit worked immediately with easy basic software.

I prefer Linksys products for my business clients. This simple, inexpensive adapter is very easy to install and use. All in all, from removal from package to up and running is no more than 3 or 4 minutes.

I was looking for a wireless connector that could be easity installed in a USB jack and could be removed just as easily just by pulling it out of the USB jack. Now I can restrict my grandson's use of the internet just by removing a dongle. Thank you.

My wifi went sour on my desktop did not have the time to repair so just went to Best Buy and picked this up pluged it in and a few minutes later Was up and running. Works better then the OEM card

I think this product is great. It work great on my computer. However It does sometimes but not all the time lost the connection but it is easy to get back. It is a great product depending on your computer specs and speed of your internet provider.

My daughter's computer had been shutting down quite often in the past few months; sometimes in the middle of a test that she could not re-take once it shutdown. The adapter seems to have solved the problem. She's been using it for about (1) month now.

Have had for several months and never lost the wireless connection.

The product was bought for my son's computer. We had a problem with his old adapter disconnecting and the device driver would uninstall itself. We have had nary a problem with this adapter, plugged it in 2 months ago and we've had no trouble.

Get's a good internet signal and N speeds as advertised. Only gripe is that it seems to disconnect randomly causing me to have to disconnect and reconnect into usb port. Though, this may be my computer's issue and not this wireless adapter.

It was so easy to setup I couldn't believe it. Took only minutes to be up and running. I thought I was going to have to replace a wireless card in my computer, and when I didn't find one at Best Buy I got this, golly was it easy!

This wireless adapter does exactly what we wanted it to do. We got rid of our internet service and are now using a hotspot. Therefore, we needed this device for our desktop computer. Just plug it in to the back and off you go.

I would tell other people to buy this product in the future.

This is a good little adapter. Obviously if you can use a wired connection you're better off than going wireless. I bought this as a temporary solution to moving my computer away from my router and into a different room. It worked well enough. I did notice that even though i was 20-30ft from the router I only had 1-3 bars (out of 5) on the windows 7 wireless network connection indicator. I also noticed that after prolonged use the adapter would get fairly hot and the computer said there was no internet connection. To fix this all I had to do was pull the adapter out of the usb port and immediately place it back in.

Only had this item for about a month, using it for my desktop in the attic with the router a floor down. Took a minute to set up. have not experienced any issues with the connection so far. Beats running a 50 ft LAN wire.

The Linksys - Dual-Band Wireless-N USB 2.0 Adapter was very easy to install and get running on an older computer that was no where near the router. Unfortunately the signal is not very strong 2 stories up due north.

Worked well for my computer when wire-less card went down

Simple to use. Install from the CD then plug it in and your done. It never has dropped connection. The only problem was WinXP sp3 is required which I had to install for my sisters XP SP 2. Needs to be less expensive.

There was no learning curve. After plugging it in it worked perfectly without any more effort. I would recommend it to anyone who wishes to make a wireless computer system in their home or small business.

Basically this gets the job done with no issues. I have my router in my entertainment center (ATT Uverse) in the living room and have the computer in one of my bedrooms with no issues. Easy installation.

Though operating system could not locate drivers, install was simple with installation disc. No reboot required. Connection to network was almost instant. Maintains maximum download & upload rates.
