I always get Linksys routers. Since I avoid "wizards" and prefer to configure the router manually, Linksys routers make this easy, with all needed parameters in the same familiar places. This is the only home router I ever get.

I actually bought this router to connect directly to my MagicJack. I was experiencing poor performance with my old router. The Linksys was very easy to setup and the performance is outstanding. Highly recommend it.

I was thinking about spending up to $80 and the very helpful staff in Conroe, TX asked me about my house size and number of computer or smart devices that may be used at one time which would be 4 and sometimes 5 with our weekend neighbors. They told me that at $44.95, I believe $5 off at the time that this was the best deal and that I did not need anymore performance nor to spend anymore money. Great staff that could have oversold me easily. BTW-the first weekend our other neighbors came up and between the 3 homes, 1 next door and the other 2 doors down, about 200' away, we were running a desktop, 3 laptops & 2 smartphones. Although the box would say that this too much, it certainly was not and no one got disconnected.

One Saturday my old router finally kicked the bucket. Since I only have a Roku for TV service without wi-fi I've got nothing. Did some quick browsing and came across this one. I have been a big fan of Linksys/Cisco for years so this was my first choice. Plenty of throughput for both streaming and using my tablet at the same time. For the price range it's great. I love that you can set up a guest login as well so you don't have to change your password every time you let someone login. Setup is about as easy as you can make it. Just pop in the CD and follow the prompts. There is an option for more advanced users but most will probably do just fine with the CD. The only con with this router is signal strength in a crowded environment. If you live in an apartment complex with several other routers in the same building you can get quite a bit of interference. I mostly noticed it when playing games on my tablet. If you are in a single family house you should be fine. Not sure what the max range is but I have no dead spots in my 2bd apartment. Overall I like it. No major complaints and like I said above, I've been a fan of the brand(s) for years. Maybe not for the hardcore gamer or super hd streaming but works fine with my Roku, tablet and laptop.

I've been using this router for one month, so far, this is perfectly working. Even outside the house. Very satisfying quality for reasonable price.

The wireless router was very easy to set up and took no time at all. Once all configurations were set, it worked perfectly with no glitches.

Easy to setup and fair security. Not much range but it covers the area I needed it for.

Very easy to set up. Great range for my home. Have had now for a couple of months and never have had to reset which as you know can be a headache with many routers. All in all a great product.

Good basic router. Delivers decent speeds for the price. Would recommend for 1-2 users with a max of 4 to 5 devices.

The Wi-Fi router is small yet pretty powerful. I get full signal strength anywhere in my apartment even though it's located in the front room. It sets up easily and offers a guest Wi-Fi option if you don't want people directly connected to your private network.

This router is agreat buy for the coast! Does not cost a lot, does a great job, has great range for its size, a great all-around product! I would recommend this to anyone!

This was a gift I had bought for my parents to get a network going for their house. After using outdated Belkin routers bought from a competitor I was pleased to find this Cisco router did the trick. Very easy to install, turn on and have running. The range works fine in a large house and if you need something simple for folks that are not too tech savvy then this is a sure bet. The price won't hurt your wallet and it does the job.

I have a tablet and a phone so no cd drive or option to hard wire. This was super to install and had a great range.

I have owned several linksys routers over the years. They have always been reliable and efficient. This is no exception. Easy installation and WiFi connections.

Detailed instructions make this router easy to setup. Put in CD and within 10 minutes I was up and running...Been running for weeks now without any issues.

My router died and I needed one right away but didn't want to spend a lot of money. This router was a good price and it works fine and gets the job done.
