Excellent small business gigabit router (no wifi)

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A great small (4 port) gigabit router with all the features of larger, more professional routers (supports DHCP, VPN's, load balancing and a DMZ). Easy to install (plug in the power and plug in the cables) but does require some setup and management. Setup and management is relatively easy using the web interface. Most settings can be left in default for easy installation but you can customize the router for most any function you may need from a router. Customer support from Linksys is very good if you need help.

VPN Router

Good Protection

Good value, basic features

Our application is for prescriptive data flow. I would consider a higher end unit with a threat management software package for applications where unsolicited data is traversing the WAN port.

Good router

Needed to purchase a new router to try and enhance performance of xfinity's unreliable internet and wireless router that lacks ability to perform with any range.
