Not the Harvest Moon you were looking for.

Ever since Harvest Moon split apart I've been waiting for something to fill the void since Rune Factory Oceans. Finally we get a new game from the original developer (Natsume kept the license but their games aren't the same anymore) but it's not what I wanted. You run a cafe with your sibling and have a pet dragon that helps you hunt and gather. There is no farming however. Each gather point has a set list of items and you have no real control over your harvest. There's also no questing or RPG elements. You gather items, help in the cafe and play a simple rhythm game to craft recipes. That's it. The story is a little goofy and there's fun to be had but it's far too repetitive and empty to justify the $60 price. The platinum is a pain in the butt as well.

Love this quirky little game. You own a cafe and make new recipes all the while exploring the land with your dragon. It’s too cute, I love the characters and most of all flying around with your dragon is awesome!
