Customers are enthusiastic about the Jitterbug Flip2's ease of use, size, and reasonable price, frequently citing the large buttons and easy-to-read display as key advantages. However, some users expressed concerns regarding battery life and the volume, while others noted limitations with texting and speed dial capabilities. The emergency button was also a frequently praised feature. Reception quality proved inconsistent for some customers.

My buying experience was outstanding — thank you, Jordan! The phone is exactly what I wanted. I believe they now call them “dumb phones”…suits me fine, I’m into reading and thinking. The only minor issue I have is the battery life. From a full charge, left on, but closed, it only lasts a day. I’ll just have to make sure I have a charger in the car, which is the only time I really need the phone.

There is a lot to like about this phone, but not enough for a higher rating. There was no way to transfer the contacts (phone numbers) from the prior flip phone to this one on making the change. This is a big deal. I had to enter them all by hand.
One good thing is that the contacts could be entered using my account on the computer, so it was easier than using the flip phone itself. I like the way it charges, sitting in the base. This for a 97 year-old who has struggled with past phones to get a mini or micro USB port in the phone correctly. This is a very good thing. The phone is easy to use so far, but it is different and takes some getting used to.
The plans are great. Allowing the unused minutes to roll over oneonth, and to have them used first in that following month is very good, and a significant reason this phone and plan were chosen.

The easiest phone I've found to transition from analog to digital for those who can't seem to get a grip on digital. It's user interface works very much like the analog phone it replaced, but now numbers can be easily blocked - text and voice mail messages managed much easier. Good sound quality on calls. The large buttons are great! The Emergency Services Plan option gives some peace of mind and has it's own button on the phone. Customer Service is excellent, professional, friendly and went the extra mile to help.
On the down side the ringers nor the volume on calls are loud enough to hear easily so I use the speakerphone function to increase the volume on calls and the loudest ringer offered (still can't hear it from another room).
All in all, it is a very good phone for those who don't want to deal with all the digital stuff and just use it as a phone.

Flip phone purchased for my elderly mother. It has limited features which is perfect for her and what she has had in the past. She prefers this size over the smart phone offered. Service at Best Buy was excellent.

I bought this phone for a 93 year old in a nursing home. This is actually the 2nd Lively phone I purchased for her as she dropped the first. It is so simple for her to use. The numbers are large and easy for her to read and press correctly; it is simple to operate; and the monthly cost is reasonable. Customer service has been very helpful every time I have had the need to reach out to them.

I brought this phone because I was looking for my elderly uncle to have some access to an emergency 911 without calling them. Also, I downloaded the app so I would be able to receive any alert. Just a side note phone carriers don’t have phones like to cater to elderly, and he loves it

This a great phone for my disabled senior brother. It was easy to set up. Every time I called the customer service, which was at least 5 times, I got excellent, helpful, representatives. This cell and service had the best reception in his building. I tried another provider and couldn't call out or receive calls, due to the older building with thick stone walls.

My dad has been very happy with this phone. He’s very hard of hearing and other flip phones were just got working. Buttons are large and easy for him to use. My only problem was with set up. Took longer than expected at the store as the phone kept saying there was no service for both our addresses. Seemed to be a glitch but the Best Buy employees kept at it and did a wonderful job!!!

Overall it is a solid easy to use flip phone. My mentally disabled brother (about 1st grade level adult) can manage it well once the contacts were put in. Fair price point, excellent customer service. I do wish the volume buttons were not placed in the area where most people hold the phone as he accidentally turns off the volume. Best thing overall we’ve found for him

This is the best phone out there for seniors. My Mom washed her first one in the washing machine and I was able to get a new one through BestBuy overnight. Lively was able to transfer her information and the phone works exactly like the old one which was very important to her.

I picked this up for my mom who has problems using a smartphone. I setup it up quickly & I love the “Red Star” button so you can set that up to call a certain contact or contacts (like me & brother) instead of 911. Big buttons and Speaker phone works like a champ.

I like the most to be able to call the Operator and they will arrange for a ride with Lyft, I don't have to have the App. I miss being able to forward texts, but it's very easy to navigate. The User Guide isn't always helpful, you have to call them for clarification but the agents have been all very kind and patient and walked me through different processes. I love that to hang up you just close it, no frenetic finger up & down the screen. It's my main phone, small, fits in my pouch and I feel connected wherever I go. I have a second cell that I keep at home with a couple of apps that I favor, but it's too bulky to carry around comfortably.

The phone is great but the sales man that help me with my purchase was not up on his accuracy everything I wanted I had it already picked out on my iPhone it was nothing to discuss other than making out the paper for the flip phone Jetter Bug I wanted to keep my old number he said it was no problem but he sent the paper work in and My phone company to send me my six digit number but Jetter Bug carrier had the wrong number that I was supposed to keep so I never got to keep my number that I wanted from my old phone not very happy I would recommend the phone but you might want to go somewhere else to buy it

I love this new jitterbug flip phone. It's easy to use, has everything you could want on it, and so much more reasonably priced than the AT&T flip I owned. The AT&T bills were getting higher every month, even though my usage was minimal......just for emergency
calls only. I never chat on my cell phone, just the land line. There is also an emergency button on this new phone in case you are ever in trouble, help will be provided. I had one before, was talked into a new service, and regretted it. As soon as the jitterbug went on sale, I took advantage & ordered one. It was delivered in 2 days. The customer service dept. was great with helping me get connected. I'm so happy with my jitterbug flip!!

Louder ring tone to alert that someone is calling

The phone would be a five star, if the ring tone to alert you that someone was calling, was much louder. As it is now I have to keep the phone by my side or I don't hear it.

I bought this phone for my mother who is 92. I thought it would be simple for her to use, but it's a bit confusing. She does know how to answer the calls which is great, but in the process she turns the volume down on the phone, so she can't hear it ring. For me it is a synch because I have and I-Phone, I know how to work it. the phone has everything you need, texting, voicemail, even a camera. I will keep the phone for the fact that there is a button to push for emergencies, which is wonderful!!
