I absolutely love this pen. I was a little skeptical at first, but after using it the first time I was completely amazed. It transfers Exactly what you write or draw onto your computer. The sound quality from recording is fabulous. The Livescribe software was very simple to install and transferring info. from the pen to the program is as easy as setting the pen in the USB cradle. It is also very easy to delete previous recordings off of the pen. My wish list for this pen would include a thinner design, more useful applications, more memory, and to be able to play the recordings off of the pen without having to use the notebook icon.

I have only had this pen for a few days but I have done extensive research on the pen I found it to be very helpful in reviewing medical terms. Also, 3 other classes where lectures have been given it was easy to get lost in the notes ...the pen review of the lectures helped me clearify my notes. This pen is a bit bulky and takes a little to get use to writing with. I was surprised at how well it recorded my handwriting, and the conversion sofware was easy to install and navigate with ease of use. I have shown it to several classmates and got great feedback.

I had been looking for this product and found it on BestBuy.Com, i was only going to buy the pen, but when i found this package deal it couldnt be beat! you get a 50 sheet notebook of dot matrix paper for the pen, the pen is 4GB (the biggest one avail at this time), instructions, the translating program to text, the leather case. I know this pen will be my saviour while at school so i can record lectures and take down notes. you never have to worry about missing anything for lectures/meetings/confrences and even medical notes for dr's or notes for lawyers with this pen. I give this item 5 stars. I recomend it to anyone!

This pen is something every business person should own. If you are in school it is a must. The days of searching through your notes long periods of time trying to find a phone number or a person's name are gone. Now just search on your computer. It's like Google for your notes. The audio function is the best recorder I've ever used. And to think it is matched to your notes... Awesome. It's a pen with a computer built into it. Very Smart.

All I can say is Wow! I am a field sales manager and this pen has saved me from typing up my sales call reports at the end of the day. I simply upload my notes from the pen, convert to text and I am done!!! Amazing! No more hours of typing up my handwritten reports for the field.

I really enjoy the product and it makes it a lot easier for me to keep up in class. I am able to review lectures while I go over notes at home and during discussion I am able to go back and listen to something that was said the class before to tie it in. I'm also a part of a lot of organizations and it makes keeping up with the minutes a breeze. Although you pay a bit upfront the notebooks cost the same as getting a Mead 5 star notebook. It is great for me and I think it makes keeping up in my tougher classes a lot easier!
