Have been through 5 vent clips and they all kept falling off. They would wobble and pop off with a bump or sudden stop. This magnet type clip is very sturdy. Vent clip itself is small but holds very well. The magnet sticks to the back of your phone so the vent clip doesn't have to be removed. Best vent clip bought. Have already referred my friends & family to it.

Needed to replace an older Bracketron flexible arm/suction cup mount for my smartphone. Have been taking it on trips for years to use my phone as a GPS in rental cars. Wanted something a lot smaller and more stable. I got it with this mount. The one downside is that my fingerprint reader is on the back of the phone, so if it goes to sleep in the car, it can be hard to access when on the mount. Not a huge problem, just an irritation occasionally.

I was looking for something that wasn't a cradle and would be easy to secure so I could view my phone. This piece is great, the magnet is STRONG and I love that the metal piece is so thin that it almost looks like a piece of my case, my case is slim and I wanted to keep it that way. It holds to the attachment in my vent solidly and I have had almost no issues. The only thing is the occasional time the magnet slips off the vent.

It's practical solution to carry you phone if you don't want to keep it in your pocket. Magnet is strong enough to keep it steady even through the bumps. Comes with two disk that can be attached to phone carrying case, just in case if you change the cases. I think, it can be improved if it has a texture surface but it serves the purpose.

Great so far. I wish the magnet was a tad bit stronger but still one of the strongest I have found so far. It has not fall off the holder yet which is great. It have the metal piece inside of a LifeProof case. Wish the metal square inside the case was larger to have more of an area for the magnet to find. Maybe it is just strong enough and any strong would be bad, not sure yet. Now my wife wants one too.

This thing is awesome, it so convenient to be able to just set the phone down and pick it up compared to the other phone holders where you have to squeeze them together and press buttons. The magnet is strong enough so you don't have to worry about it falling off. I've been using mine for about a month and I love it

Easy to use and place . It takes up very little space on the vent and does a great job of holding my cell phone in place. However, I personally think it should be about $10 heaped in price.

I have bought two of these for each car. My job required me to use my phone for GPS. This made it so simple to just place my iphine6 on it and not have to mess with clamps. It held my phone very securely. When my husband saw the ease of use, he wanted one too.

I used this product with my Galaxy S6 Edge and I have a mophie juice pack case on it. I was concerned that the size and weight of the case would affect the mount's ability to hold, however the magnet is pretty strong. It had no issue holding my phone even when driving on the freeway or uneven terrain. Just keep in mind that this product requires having a magnet adhered to a case or the phone itself. If you switch cases often, you may need extra magnets since it only includes two. The magnet is fairly flat and does not get in the way or affect use of my phone.

I have had the spring loaded ones and this is so much better. I attached the magnet to the outside of my case so the magnet wouldn't be permanently stuck on my phone. It looks great and is so easy.

Easy to use. Sales person tried to sell me a $40 alternative . When I asked about this product I was told it was only the magnet and I would need to buy a separate case for my phone. I took a chance and I'm glad I did. Magnet for phone can go inside your phone case or adhere with adhesive. Comes with two phone magnets.

The design is infallible! I have purchased three now so I do not have to be concerned with moving one from vehicle to another, although the design and function is 100% portable. I travel with one and it is used in a different rental each week with no issue. I wholeheartedly recommend the Product.

Pros. Easy installation, strong magnet, came with 2 mounting pads. The only con i really had with this item is the adhesive on the plate that attaches to the phone was a little weak and came off after a few days. I fixed this with some craft adhesive. Overall a good product.

Clever way to use the camera GPS. Although I haven't had occasion to use it yet I know it will be more up to date than my old GPS - and not likely to fall from the windshield or the dashboard the way the GPS always has.

This little magnet is good for use with a cheap cover. The magnet holds up my iPhone 6 plus with no problems. I did have to superglue the positive side of the magnet to my phone case because the adhesive wasn't strong enough.

It works real well with my iPhone. Phone holds good and takes up minimum room so it's un intrusive. It will fall with extreme bumps but that's not often enough to be a show stopper. I am happy with the product.

The magnet is strong enough to support the phone in its matching case but the clip is not long enough. My phone has to be mounted horizontally to fit properly in my car. It allows me to view my phone in landscape with my GPS apps but is a pain when trying to see an incoming call or txt message.

Great product, works well in my wife's car, but did not work in mine. Be aware of all of the issues regarding the weight of the phone you are planning on mounting, the direction of the louvers on the AC vent, the thickness of those louvers etc. It is definitely not "universal", but it probably can work in most vehicles with most phones, but you won't know until you try.
