Great webcam for the price, has various lens angles

I recently bought this product from Best Buy, and I’m really happy with my purchase. The quality exceeded my expectations, and it works exactly as described. Setup was simple, and the performance has been smooth and reliable. Customer service and delivery were also great — everything arrived on time and in perfect condition. Definitely a great value for the price. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something dependable and well-made.

I was looking for the best quality webcam to replace a good but aging Microsoft HD webcam. I do videoconferencing all day long and so I wanted to best possible picture quality. It has seemed that the last few years there hasn't been that much innovation in this area, so I finally decided to move to my next camera when Logitech's 4K camera came along. Yes this is a pricey camera. But if you're using a webconferencing system like Zoom that supports HD, the picture quality is absolutely crystal clear. I had no issues setting up the camera, although I recall there not being much in the way of documentation. I just went to Logitech's website and downloaded the software for the camera and it worked. I will say that I have not really used the microphone at all as I use an external microphone so I can not speak to the audio quality. (By the way, having optimal lighting really helps all of these small cameras and this camera is no exception. I sit next to a window (at my side) and rarely need anything more than daylight to have very natural white-balance coming out of this camera.)

The Logitech 4K Pro Webcam is easy-to-use--simply plug in and you are good to go. I use this webcam for Zoom sessions, and between the Epocam (using my iPhone), the laptop camera (MacBook Pro), or my Canon DSLR, the Logitech is the best all-around camera. All the other options I have tried were difficult and problematic. This webcam is really easy to set up. In dark or bright rooms, the camera performs well. My only wish is that Logitech would also provide a USB-C to USB-C cord so that I do not have to use an Apple dongle to connect to my MacBook Pro.

I've had this Logitech Brio 4k webcam for a couple weeks and I'm impressed by its image quality and features. The Brio image quality is better than the Logitech C922, but it should be at double the price. It's not hugely better, but I can notice the difference. When using the Logitech Capture software, this really unlocks the various features for making custom adjustments such as the Field of View whereby I prefer a tighter crop versus wide angle. The "HDR" function really does work and makes a difference in improving the exposure quality, especially when only available ambient light is used. But when using an external LED light source to light your face, it's better to have the HDR function disabled, otherwise the exposure will be too bright. For the most part, the auto focus works well in locking focus on my face. It's not perfect but works nearly all the time. The built-in microphone is okay too, but I prefer to use my Blue Yeti X USB mic for external audio which is far better quality. The supplied lens cover is sort of a joke as it doesn't lock into place and can easily be bumped off the webcam. The Brio doesn't come with a mini tripod whereas the C922 model does. The C922 webcam doesn't have the HDR exposure function in the Logitech Capture software, but the Brio webcam does have it. This Brio webcam including the C922 and other high end Logitech webcams are virtually all sold out most of the time so you need to keep checking the website for availability.

It installs quickly and needs no drivers. The image quality is great. There's an app you can install if you want to use the more advanced features, but if you just need a Windows Hello devices or a webcam for video conferencing, this works with no muss or fuss. The mount works great, but might cover some of the image on monitors with thin bezels. The only real downside I can see is that it is on the expensive side.

No joke, this webcam is expensive, and I wouldn’t say go out and buy one at regular price, but when there’s sales and you can save around $50 for a good quality webcam. I had 1080p webcam also from Logitech and while it did fairly fine whenever I had to web-conference, there are moments when the quality or current view state in which you might not show up at all in the camera view because of poor lighting or when the camera changes it’s settings on you and even though I was using 1080p@30fps or even 720p@30 or 60fps, if there’s poor lighting, it wouldn’t help with the noise or lack of quality, clearness, and professionalism. Hence, finally I decided to try out the 4K model in hopes of understanding better quality options/recommendations/settings, etc. I’ve had this over 2 months now and it still continues to amaze me. P.s. don’t download the Logi or camera setting app for this camera on either Windows or Mac because they fail to utilize or allow you to access the features or alter certain settings. The Logitech apps fail to correct the white balance and will give you a green tint with noise even if you uncheck the auto function for white balance, it fails to. And for some reason, these apps don’t truly access the 4K video streaming/recording and still provide poor to moderate improvements in quality in 1080p and below. To truly make use of the 4K webcam for either streaming/recording/video-conferencing, you will need a software that is capable and I suggest a free and open source program called OBS Studios. I appreciate this program for making things simpler to play around with the camera settings. In Windows you can manually change a few of the settings like white balance, saturation, contrast, brightness, etc and also let you access the 4K quality but probably better to go down a resolution still but I have little no problems at 4K streaming thanks to gigabit internet and graphics card. I still can’t find these setting functions on my Mac though… Anyways, long review over. I would recommend this webcam when it’s on sale or when you’re sick and tired of your other webcam not providing enough lighting so you can be viewable or providing too much noise or exposure to try and compensate. It took sometime to truly try it out and find out what the webcam can actually do and then find those resources. Before finding and reading about OBS Studio, I thought my webcam was faulty or the driver was corrupt or that these webcam truly just suck, but it’s really that Logitech softwares suck and don’t allow you to customize or utilize the 4K webcam features so I can imagine a lot of negative reviews about this webcam is probably due to being limited to the Logitech softwares.

Setting up the camera can be a bit challenging at first, as the instructions are not very intuitive. However, once installed, the image quality is sharp and vibrant, and the sound is impressively clear. Overall, despite the setup difficulty, it delivers excellent performance and is definitely recommended for those seeking reliable video and audio.

Easy/fast setup with excellent options for adjusting the camera quality and focus for individual needs. Video quality is amazing and makes video conferencing so easy. I've also used this product for recording special holiday events at home. Attaching the camera to your computer or tripod is quick and easy, plus the rubber grip holds well. The auto focus can be a bit annoying if you're constantly moving back and forth. I usually turn it off. Definitely need plenty of lighting for best quality.

It has a wonderul picture quality for discord and twitch. Plus is that you can unlock your pc with your face if it’s plugged in and never had problems with it not detecting me to unlock

Very nice digital camera. Sharp image, very easy to install. Set up is simple. I use it for my Zoom meetings and I have had no issues with the camera. I highly recommend it.

its a nice camera - I replaced my 12 year old logitech 930 with this camera - I was expecting a bigger improvememnt but image is still better than my old camera - the one issue is that the camera doesn't have an easy tilt like the old 930 version did - I have to adjust the back rest to change the angle of the camera

The camera itself - very nice, easy install, works with all the major online video platforms I use ... a bit pricey but overall pleased with performance. Unfortunately, very little actual support for 4K video teleconference service that I have found, but that is not the fault of the camera (thus the camera tends to operate more in HD rather than 4K because of this)...

I set the Webcam on top of a TV, connected the USB cable to a Nvidia Shield Pro, and launched Google Duo. Flawless and crystal clear video chat with my retired parents via Google Duo on their iPad and a separate call to my wife's iPhone were perfect. Literally Plug-And-Play. Based on Nvidia's KnowledgeBase, all Logitech Webcams should be fully compatible with the Shield devices on the latest OS. You will not have any of the Logitech software features available on Android TV via Duo. There is a note that 4K is only available on the latest Windows OS and I can't confirm (although it appears to be) 4K on the Shield. This 4K business class device is definitely overkill, but it can be easily be repurposed for improved video conferences on my LG Gram laptop and Acer Predator desktop. The Windows 10 OS will have access to all the software functionality and the full 4K. My previous Microsoft 5000 Webcam (good device but very old) provided video on the Shield but it wouldn't recognize the microphone audio. This Logitech device resolved the issue.

I bought this primarily for its compatibility with Windows Hello. Logitech makes few webcams which work with Windows Hello. Not even the latest Logitech webcam (2024) MX Brio, which is arguably superior, is compatible. There are cheaper Windows Hello cameras, but I'm not comfortable with a no name webcam. If you are, then shop around, and you'll find something cheaper. If you don't care about Windows Hello, then don't get this camera. The Logitech C922, which I also have, is a GREAT webcam, and you can get if well under $100. As far as this camera, it's truly plug and play. My computer recognized it right away. You need to download the Logitech software (LogiTunes) to tweak the settings and update the firmware, but the default settings out of the box are good. Video quality is excellent. Auto focus is excellent. Dual mics are excellent. As mentioned, you can adjust numerous settings with the Logitech software. I've done Zoom meetings and MS Teams meetings, and it was spot on. Far superior to the built in webcam in my desktop monitor. Build quality seems solid. There is a clip on privacy shutter if that concerns you. The monitor mount is also solid. Stays in place, and you can make angle adjustments with no problem. I can't think of anything not to like about this, other than the price. If price is the issue, you can recycle any computer accessory (doesn't need to be Logitech) and get a 20% discount on this webcam (or any Logitech accessory). I ended up getting this for under $140 at Bet Buy, which is a great deal in my opinion. I recommend this, but again, if you don't care about Windows Hello, get the Logitech C922 for under $100. It's perfectly adequate for almost all users.

The 4K video quality is outstanding—sharp and professional looking. The noise-canceling mic makes my voice sound clear without background noise. Easy to set up and works great for meetings and streaming. Worth the price if you want top quality.

I bought this as I am working from home almost steadily and I needed to drive a more professional appearance. It was simple to install (just plug in), easy to use, it makes me look light, bright and good. Even in a dark room, no other lighting required.
