I bought this camera to use instead of my stock laptop camera which was horrible. The camera takes very nice pictures and video, and HD looks great! I also use the built in microphone rather than my laptop mic, it also works much better.

The gaming computer my grandson got did not come with a camera, he likes to see who he is playing with. It a great camera, very clear picture, easy to set up and fits nicely on the monitor. Great price for such a great camera

Needed a decent webcam with microphone for use with Google Hangouts on Linux Mint. Searches showed this model should work out of the box which it did. Have used it several time for video calls and it has worked perfectly.

To be honest, i wasnt expecting much from this webcam because of the cheap cost but was surprised at how great it actually is. Very clear picture and good quality mic

Overall, I am very pleased with the product. It was very easy to setup and the quality of the video and microphone met my expectations. Good value for the price. My only complaint is that it sits on top of the monitor rather than attaches. If working with a laptop on the lap, the camera moves or can fall wheh the user moves positions.

We bought this webcam so we could Skype, and it works great. Good picture and sound. While your video of yourself in the corner may seem dark, the transmission of the other end is not. (We checked it on both ends).

The camera works well and provides a good picture. I was a bit iffy regarding the mounting 'kit' and procedures, but it has held strong and I've had no problems with it. The room I use it in doesn't have its own light source, but ambient light from the surrounding rooms is enough to give a clear, well-lit picture. Set up and usage is simple. I've given 4 stars simply because I haven't used the built-in microphone since I have a headset, so can't really speak to its operation.

I got this camera because I do a web based TV show, I needed a good quality camera and this one fit my needs and price range. I am completely impressed with the quality, compatibility and ease of use of the camera. Sadly the only issue I have had is that it can only mount over the top of my monitor. I would have preferred to have a base I can put on a tripod to allow more flexibility.

This web cam was super easy to setup & use. High quality picture, even in lower light. Super good price too (on sale too!). Definitely recommend.

Bought to interface with my job's jabber client - works well enough - picture clear/mic pics up audio well. I actually think the mic works better than some other devices I had,

I purchased this camera for my family in central america to Skype and to record video for future generations to view. I tested the camera before sending it to them, it took me 5-10 minutes to set up and begin recording. After doing that I knew they were not going to have any problems setting this up. The video and sound quality were great. I received a DVD from them a few days ago and it looked great. I would definitely purchase this again and would recommend it to others as well.

This is good camera for beginner, easy to install & use, picture is clear, built-in microphone is sensitive. camera angle is a little bit narrow.

Camera was a good price for the features. It has good picture and sound quality. More than what I expected at this price and I am totally satisfied with it.

For the price this is a good camera. The only drawback for me was there is no mounting hole for a tripod. The camera work good, nice picture, easy to use.

Purchased this for my son since he Skypes with friends constantly about homework, gaming, you name it. Picture and sound quality has been great so far.

I needed camera to monitor status LEDs on power units as we test them with our automated test equipment. The power supplies are in caged in a protective plastic cage, and I did not want to have to cut a hole thru it just to get a better view from the camera lenses. So I was looking for a HD camera that was small enough to fit our test stand and clarity enough to be able to see what was going on the other side of the plastic cage, I was truly impressed with the image quality that I got, for the price that I paid.

This web-cam was easy to plug-in and use. We love it for skyping with the kids. It has a clear picture.

It works well. The picture and sound are both very good. The only drawback is that it doesn't swivel.

We use this at home to list grandma see her grandkids. it is ready to set up, the sound is great. we love it.
