I bought this shifter to go along with my G29 race wheel and it doesn't disappoint. This is the first shifter I've ever owned so I can't really compare it to anything else, but from my time with it I'd have to say it does exactly what it's suppose to do. I use it mainly on my ps4 with games like driveclub and project cars. Nice effortless shifting action although the push down reverse takes some getting use to(but how often do you use reverse in driving games). I would definitely recommend looking into mounting it rather than clamping. The clamps are strong, but after buying the wheel stand pro to go along with my setup there is no way I could go back to clamping it down. The wheel stand allows you to use the screw holes on the bottom of the shifter and wheel to screw it down and it doesn't move an inch. The shifter seems very sturdy and well built. I only hope more games come out soon that use it. The only complaints that I would have with this shifter is that it should have came packaged with the G29 for the hefty price tag it carries(399.99). Forking out another 50 bucks on top of that for the shifter is kind of crazy considering that the G27 came with it. Also I wish it had a sequential shift option like the G25 had. It's like your paying more for less. With those small gripes aside let's not forget that this is a review for the shifter alone, and with that being said it's definitely more enjoyable flying through the gears with this baby so i'd have to recommend it for the avid race fan.

Paired with the Logitech Racing Wheel (G920), it makes an exceptional beginner racing simulator setup. Quite literally a Plug and Play device. Truly, I don't know of any other aftermarket shifter that delivers similar if not better quality, for more or less a similar price. It works my PC well, and in games such as Forza 5, Assetto Corsa, and the Need for Speed series.

Overall the logitech racing sim gear shift works great. If youre looking for realism at a budget price, then this shifter is for you. Started my racing sim set up with a next level cockpit, logitechs g920 racing wheel, and of course the logitech gear shift. Great little set up for a fraction of the cost for one of those fancey racing sims. Only downside to the logitech gear shift is that it seems to be only conpatible with logitech gear. I mean it makes sense i suppose but it would be nice to have a universal adapter for different racing rigs. I can no longer use my Logitech gearshift becuase i have sense upgraded my set up to a Moza R3 racing wheel which doesnt work with the logitech shifter. Maybe one day if im willing to dish out a grand then maybe ill think about a direct drive wheel and base by logitech. For now ill just stick with my Moza. All that being said the Logitech Racing Simulator GearShift is a great piece of equipment for a beginner budget build.

It shifts nicely. It definitely add realism to my steering wheel. Works well with my Xbox Series X and my PC.

Great shifter. Feels very similar to the one in my car. 6 gears, and push down to reverse (like a subaru). Very true

Bought this for my son to complete his racing simulator experience. So far he likes & the build quality is impressive as well.

Works perfectly for my setup and for the price I bought the adapter to go from the end for the steering wheel to a usb for the pc and my game recognized it just fine

I got this while it was on sale so i was very happy to start, no regrets after using it ! If you are thinking of buying it.. JUST DO IT

After having this shifter for a few months now, I have found it very fun to use, especially with Forza Horizon 5, iRacing, and American Truck Simulator. The shifter is very nice with the stitched leather and it feels great when it shifts. I would recommend this to anyone who is either looking to upgrade or just getting started.

Solid built and it's easy to use, I play mostly Dirt Rally 2.0 and Project Cars 2. Not for F1 fans! It's great for an entry level shifter if you don't want to spend hundreds. For casual playing is pretty good, but get a rack for the wheel, pedals and shifter. There are some decent ones around ~$100. There's only one major cons: It's way to easy to shift wrong as it has almost no feedback so when you try to follow the navigator in DR2.0 it's frustrating. There's an almost non-existent tension so you have to pay extra attention when you do fast shifts. A small minus is the missing 7th and 8th gear. You can't use it when you drive any car with abovementioned gearing. Not a huge minus, but for certain cars you need to use the pedals on the steering wheel. There are some mods out there which make it easier to handle giving a better feedback, but the better ones are too expensive and the cheaper ones are too easy to brake.

I bought this together with a Logitech G29 for the PS4. The shifter is a good addition but it is not completely necessary. It has 6 gears and revere. Playing with it could get weird. In Gran Turismo the cars that have paddle shifter can be control with the paddles or the stick, however you are limited to 6 speeds on the stick. The cars with manual transmission will require you to depress the clutch before shifting. The problem is you get no mechanical feedback from the shifter so timing the clutch release and the shifting can sometimes get messed up in the heat of the game. Once you get the timing correctly it it will work and shift properly in the game. Mechanically the shift feels great and it works just like a real shifter. I would recommend it but only if you like driving a manual transmission and you have the extra cash. Otherwise just use the paddle shifters.

Works great with my Logitech G923 and my Xbox Series X. I have been playing The Crew Motorfest right now, And the difference between a regular Xbox controller, and Logitech G923 with the Stick shift is absolutely amazing. There is one con. This controller does not work 100% straight out of the box. Every racing game has its on adjustable settings for the stick, and you have to research and fine tune it to fit you.

I bought this driving force shifter to go along with the Logitech wheel and pedals, as a Christmas racing bundle for my 11 year old son. It makes his racing experience more fun and it works great. I wanted to add that the exceptional service I received from Best Buy manager Danilo and associate Danny, gave me motivation to continue shopping at my favorite store Best Buy.

The Logitech - Driving Force Shifter is good and quality

Feels like a classic short shifter, works great shifts between gears super easily. Easy to figure out with an mounting adjustment to mount onto most table widths as or whatever you are using as a mounting point

The quality of this gear shifter is as expected for the favorable price of 70 dollars. The gears are alittle short but for beginners, this is a benefit. The software ware has a decent reaction to the hardware.

The leather feels really nice on the shifter and every time you try to move it it won’t get stuck. It’s really good quality and feels nice. And it’s really easy to hook up on a desk.

This product is still great, super recommended, you won't regret it, very easy to use, a perfect realistic feeling, I love playing with this

I got this as a gift for my boyfriend for the g920 set up, he absolutely LOVES it I definitely won best gift this year it’s super sturdy and so realistic!!!
