I bought this game pad to use on my laptop. I have some old Apple IIe games that I loved playing as a kid. With the gamepad I was able to really play them again. Not quite like the old apple joystick, but still good enough. It also works great on old Arcade style games that I also have.

Simple gamepad, works! About 10 years ago, I got a Saitek gamepad. I was having problems mapping buttons on Steam games. I got this, and it supports both the new Xinput and older DirectInput method, with a switch on the back. My old game pad predates the Xinput method, made standard by the Xbox.

All in all for what you're getting for the price it's great. Doesn't require setting up anything depending on what games you have. Note that it doesn't vibrate and the trigger button area could be a bit more ergonomic and (could be just me but...) you will constantly mistake the mode button for SELECT... but other than that... can't complain :)

Petty good controller for my Pi but too big for my liking.

20 bucks, I like wired because my experience with wireless pads is not so good. My old Logitech F310 finally started to be erratic after 5 years of heavy gaming. The new one works perfectly, quickly recognized, no problems. Plug and play. Bam.

This controller has everything a ps3 controller has, except durability. It has great tactile response on the buttons, comfortable feel, easy to setup, but does not last very long. I've used two of these in the past year, but don't overpay for one.

Purchased as simple controller for a UAV flight training sim. . Wirks well for that purpose.

I bought this controller because I built my first computer and I didn't want to pay for the price tag of having the Microsoft name on it like they wanted you to do at Walmart. I must say that I am not disappointed at all because for how much this controller costed me it has been nothing but awesome. I was able to plug it right into my computer and then I was able to use it within a minute.

This is a decent inexpensive game pad, especially if you don't have an Xbox controller. It's wired but it gets the job done. I used it to play Steam games on my Surface Pro because I just can't stand using the mouse and keyboard. Not as comfortable as other game pads out there but for the casual user it will do.

It worked for my intended purpose, but the feel of it in the hand is a bit off. Maybe I'm just used to the feel of an xbox controller or similar. This is more like a playstation controller. It functioned with the MAC even though there is no documentation about it. I just googled and was able to make it work for me.

Had to change the switch to D on the bottom but this controller works for most of my MacBook pro games that support controllers, like Lego Harry Potter. Not many controllers work for macs so I was glad to find this did. There is no documentation for Mac users to set it up. An annoying search online was all I could find but its pretty much plug & play.

This controller was a great price and worked well as expected

As mainly a PC gamer, I find myself constantly needing to switch key bindings for several games so that they all coincide. However, with this control I've been able to game like nobody's business. The setup was extremely easy and the control works fast for all games I play. The size is good enough for comfortable control and handling.

I didnt actually use this product, because it was going to be for a retro pi build, and I wanted something more classic looking. I ended up going with the Buffalo snes controller which worked flawlessly (ordered on amazon). I will say it looks cool in the package! I also read it will work fine with, a retro pi build. So if your in a pinch, its worth the buy.

I have a Windows 10 computer. I plugged this in, and Windows recognized the gamepad automatically. Then a game that uses a gamepad just worked, no fiddling around needed. It's also a really nice gamepad, it feels good and responds well. Don't be tempted by the cheaper ones, this isn't that expensive. I've had Logitech gamepads and mice for years, they're always good.

Excellent for the price; the controller felt solid if not a little clunky. The design is not the most ergonomic around if you are used to the Playstation or XBOX experience as I was. I have switched to PC, however, after a long break and I do not enjoy keyboard navigation when playing shooters and RPGs, so I went on the hunt. I didn't want to spend a ton of money, so I gave this a try. There are a few little issues that you should expect for what you pay on this thing. The analog sticks are loose and the buttons are a little mushy. It is a wired controller. Games that were controller compatible though did all work fine with this pad, so if you are trying to get something on the cheap and love the console experience, then this controller will definitely get the job done. You just won't feel like a million bucks doing it.
