I went from an older Gamecon headset to these Logitechs and man what a difference. They have a dedicated soung card and plug in through USB so if you have a dedicated sound card you may want to choose a diffenrt style. Very happy with this headset. Good all around sound quality! Seem to e very well built as well. Cord is pretty heavy duty as well and is a little stiff. I would recommend this headset.

I bought these to replace some worn out headphones. What a great purchase!!! I did like that they connect to the computer using only a USB instead of the separate audio/video plugs.

good quality headset! Hooks up easy, easily installs, and works well with Windows 8. Had a similar one to this before and it broke. Hopefully this one holds up. Time will tell.

For gaming, these are the only way to go. Tried wireless, but they were constantly running down, and leaving me high and dry.

When I came to Best Buy looking for a replacement headset for my 2 year old one that just broke down, my friend recommended this one to me. I'm glad he did as this headset has been wonderful. The controls on the side are easily accessible for quick muting, volume control, and any other function you have set for the 3 re-mappable buttons. The microphone quality is clear and in games the surround sound functions perfectly.

I went through a couple other headphones and hands down, this is the best! The sound clarity is sooo good and with a tap of my finger, I can control volume and the mute buttons and there is additional program buttons you can set for other options. I use them mainly for gaming and the other games say I sound great on their side. They are very comfortable for hours of wearing.

Great in most ways I can think of. Only issue I've had is with the surround sound sometimes being a bit wonky

I've owned many headsets through the years for gaming, business, skype, phone calls, etc. From Plantronics to Motorola and others, this is one sweet headset! It's crisp clear and the sound is perfect! I'd highly recommend this one!

Okay, here is the deal this head set works great but it definetly is not just a plug and play. I spend more time deserting this thing up and getting it all dialed in. If I unplug it and them plug it back in it works some times and then requires me to set up it up or at least tweak it to get it working right.

Was cheaper in store than online. Great product! I have told a lot of people about it and Best Buy

Overall it is easy to use and setup. Windows 8 had no problem and the surround sound is better than I thought it would be. Mic forces you to use it on your left side so a bit awkward for me I prefer it on the right side. Great buy would suggest to anyone looking for a headset to get this one.

What happened to the old G35 sound quality of three years ago. The improved unit would not let me detect the direction threats were coming from in fps games, duh! The only new item I like was the foam ear piece covering material. This material will probably hold up better in the in the long run.
