I got my initial G35 about a month ago, Two weeks in the left can stopped working. The second set had pretty much the same problem with some variation. The 3rd pair had a problem with the Dolby switch on the left can,... so I gave up and two days ago exchanged them for Tritton's new AX 720. Learning that the Trittons were single driver headsets, I assumed the sound would be comparable to the G35. This was not the case,... the G35 blow the AX 720's completely out of the water, especially when it comes to music. As far as game play, there's not that much separating these two headsets. The ONLY reason I opted for the Trittons is their flexibility. I'm able to jump from an hour long Rosetta Stone session on the my laptop to losing myself in an hour or so of Halo 3 on the Xbox 360,... all without even taking the Trittons off of my head. Nice. But this is about the G35, so I'll stay there. It's my opinion that the G35 is one of the best selling headset hovering around the $100 mark. No question. I wished their software driver was a little more mature, and not so much energy spent in areas like morphing your voice. It's pretty much an on or off deal with the driver. The only adjustments are with the 2-band (Treble & Bass) EQ,... well that's not entirely true. There are sliders for voice and volume on either side of the 2-Band EQ. The G35's contruction is well done and seems like it would be rugged enough to withstand normal wear-n-tear. They are quite comfortable, but feel a little heavy in hand, but that doesn't really carry over to how your head and neck deals with this perception of weight. They can easily be worn for hours on end, maybe with a removal here-n-there for scratch your ears, do a stretch, or check whether someone has entered your home without you knowing it. That reminds me,... the G35 do a very good job of isolating the outside world. So good that when you speak, you have to rely on hearing yourself through your facial bones instead of with your ears. If hearing yourself talk is important, you'll definitely have to go into Vista's control panel and set that up. There's no option in the G35's driver panel to enable any kind of monitoring. They've included a really nice cord for the G35, it's braided, thick and give a very secure feeling of not frizzin' out on you. The notched and numbers adjustment on the head band is not really that useful. After they've broken themselves in, they don't stay were left them, and the natual motion of spreading them to put them on wipes out your setting. The mic seems to do a nice job and designing it to mute itself when raised out of position is nice. Nice range of adjustment as well. But above all, the music and explosions this thing makes is just awesome,... positioning thing around you were they're supposed to be isn't bad either. Oh and the bass is to die for,... tight with a large but not overwhelming footprint. Many have talked about a whin coming from the right can when the mic was engaged. I did not hear this high pitch whin. Other's have complained about low general volume,.... neither did I experience this. So I guess you're asking, why am I giving the G35 such high marks if I had to go through three of them? Well,... a Blue Shirt told me there were a bad lot of them that got through shipping. Not willing to believe this on the face of it,... I called Logitech. To my surprise, they acknowledged this, confirmed that they were trying to identify where they were, and quickly advised me to return them to were they were purchased, and if outside of a return window, they would work with customers to resolve any issue. That was good enough for me. I doubt seriously if any more of these units are still on shelves. But having them for nearly a month served to let me know that for the money I had to also have Xbox connectivity. The Trittons do that quite nicely, but don't sound as good. If your gaming is solely on the PC and you do quite a bit of music ,... do the G35. If you do multiple platforms, and music not so much, take a look at the new Tritton AX 720,... these two are the same price. I would absolutely recommend the G35 to a friend.

I've been using the G35's for about eight months now and I don't really have any major complaints. I wear glasses with this headset and it is perfectly comfortable for me, but your mileage may vary depending on head size/shape, ear size and sensitivity, and plain old personal preference. The adjustable mic picks up voice quite clearly and does a decent job of filtering out background noise according to friends on skype and vent. I've made a few recordings with audacity just to feel out the limits of the mic and it performs pretty well. The mic does a good job of suppressing hisses and pops which is a huge plus. It's good for voip and maybe the occasional youtube upload, but this isn't going to replace any dedicated mics out there. The cans themselves do a very nice job of reproducing most sounds, from revving engines to howling monsters it has a pretty nice range. The bass is kind of muddy and the highs can sound kind of thin from time to time, but if you're using these primarily for gaming these shortcomings shouldn't be a major problem. The surround sound on the other hand is kind of problematic. This feature is basically nonexistent, which makes me wish logitech hadn't listed it under the product info. The G35's provide virtual surround sound, which is of course a software solution. It's just not very convincing as there is zero directionality present in the soundscape. This headset will not help you pinpoint the location of an enemy in a shooter or other game. It's just not going to happen. These headphones sound like you have a left and right channel, and that's it. If you want surround sound in a gaming headset you're going to have to pay two or three times as much to get it. Having said that though, this headset is still great especially when you look at the cost. I didn't buy this headset for surround, I bought it because I wanted accurate and reliable sound reproduction at a decent cost, and that is exactly what these things do. I'm not a big fan of usb headsets primarily because I can only use them with a pc. I really miss being able to plug my headphones into any device with a traditional audio jack, but since the mic isn't detachable I guess that's not an issue for me anyway. The real problem with usb headsets are the drivers. With a traditional headset setup all you have to worry about is the quality of your source, your sound card, and your headset. USB sets add an artificial software layer between you and the sound, meaning everything you hear is processed by logitech's own drivers before it hits your ears. Logitech's drivers are good enough for gaming, movie watching, hitting the youtubes, but I would never do any serious music listening on these things. Never. It's just impossible to get that really ... I don't know "clean" feeling in your audio that you get over analog headsets. Time will tell how durable these things really are, and I'm actually a terrible judge of this. I'm ridiculously protective of all of my technology so my stuff generally doesn't break very often (but when it does ... HULK SMASH!). So far these sets don't have a single scratch on them, the braided cable is in pristine condition, the sound reproduction doesn't seem to have deteriorated at all, and the mic is transmitting as crisp and cleanly as ever. -------Overall-------- I really dig these cans as a whole. Its shortcomings are easily overshadowed by its strengths and, I can't stress this enough, for the cost you cannot beat it. This is a mid range headset so its unrealistic to expect the same performance you would get from a $300+ model.

So I've owned many headsets and headphones. My most recently used ones prior to this were beats on ear headphones and turtle beaches (x11 i think is the type? the wired over ear ones without surround sound). First off, let me say, the surround sound is there and works and I absolutely love it, but it might not be as dramatic as some might hope. I kept my expectations low considering any headset with surround sound is virtual surround sound and not literal. There is a science behind how the surround sound works in which you can look up videos about it, but if you want to test that yourself with these headphones, you can have surround sound on and use the headset on one ear at a time. there'll be a bit of echo that you don't notice with both of them on. That's because when you have both ears on, your brain interprets the sound and echos to let you know where the sound was coming from. I was playing battlefield 4 and trying to capture a point and i could hear an enemy running around the building and knew which door he was going to run in through. It might not be as noticeable in battlefield 4 though in the heat of war with a bunch of people as there are just too many sounds to really be able to distinguish what's coming from where, but i assume thats how it'd be in real life too. With skyrim it is also awesome and i love it. Also works with netflix but i havent tested it out too much on that. As for durability of the item. The product feels extremely durable. I wouldn't go throwing it across the room into a wall out of rage, but it feels nice and sturdy. Compared to my beats, i'd say they're about on par if not a bit more durable at the ear cups and what not. And they feel more durable than my turtle beaches. The wire that connects to the computer is thick and wrapped with some sort of nylon, which i think is very nice. it won't get caught in your chair's rollers and i think a cat would have more trouble biting through that than if it were just a standard rubber cable. now for comfort: These surpass both my beats and my turtle beaches. Granted my beats are ON EAR headphones, so it'd be expected that those would start to make my ears ache after a while, but even my turtle beaches would make my ears start to hurt after an hour or two of gameplay. The G35 is very comfortable though. I think my head might be about average or a bit larger than average and my ear size is pretty normal. I can go to playing piano with my beats on for a couple hours and when my ears start to really hurt and get sore, i can put this headset on and it doesnt even bother my already sore ears. I can wear this headset for hours and not even feel uncomfortable with them. The only weakpoint i seem to notice is that there's one skinny wire for both ear cups that connect from the head piece portion. The cups don't rotate enough to effect the slack from those wires so i don't really see those being an issue at any point in the near future, just thought i'd mention the only real weak point i've noticed. Sound qualtiy: These things sound great. It has excellent sound and the bass is nice. The bass on my beats get louder and actually rumbles on my ears if i turn it all the way up which can be nice with some genres. The bass on my g35 is nice though. Its hard to compare them to the beats. The sound can get reallly deep and you can turn the bass up if you want a deeper bass, but you can't really get the same rumble as with beats, though thats not really an issue. The deeps are deep and sound very nice and balanced. I have had one issue though where i was testing them with a song with deep bass and it started to cut off, but that song was very deep with its bass AND i had turned the bass all the way up to test it. with the bass turned down a bit it sounded awesome. I noticed one other issue that i think was actually an isolated incident. I had my digital piano hooked up to audio mixer and then hooked up to my computer and used my g35's to listen to that. hm. the sound quality with everything sounded awesome. youtube, netflix, games, spotify, etc. but when using it with the input on my computer and a keyboard it wasn't all that good on stereo or surround. at least not for the standard grand piano sound. But after about 20 minutes of playing, i started to notice a popping sound in my headphones with the deeper notes. I started using my beats and they were fine. However, after about 30 minutes my speakers and headphones started making a buzzing sound and i turned down all the volumes on my audio mixer and then i realized it had just about become unplugged, so that issue was with the audio mixer, which may also be the reason it didnt sound too well with the g35s and began popping, seeing as it was connected to the computer which was connected to the audio mixer. I have not tried it since, which is why I say it MAY be an isolated incident. But for everything other than that, it has been nothing but excellent with sound quality. Sound quality surpasses my turtle beaches by far. With my turtle beaches there was always a hissing/buzzing sound unless you turned your volume to the max and used the headset controls to slightly adjust the volume up and down. there is absolutely none of that with the g35s. The mic quality is superb as well. can easily be heard very clearly unlike with my turtle beaches. i have to have the mic close to my mouth with my turtle beaches. This one picks up your voice very easily. The voice changer thing is not one i use really, but i did use it with a friend on borderlands 2 just to mess with her and make it seem like something was wrong with the connection and we both got a good laugh out of it, but other than that i personally dont really have a use for it, but i dont talk much in games anyway unless i'm playing with people i know. the design is awesome. controls on the headset are intuitively placed and easy to use. It's so much easier pressing the mic button on your ear than finding the inline control to swipe a switch to mute yourself and the mic mute indicator is nice too. if you wanted to be muted, you can see the light when you are muted rather than having to fumble for the inline control to check if you're muted or not. overall i am very satisfied with this purchase and should anything happen to them i'll most likely get another pair or the next iteration in their line. if anything negative arises in my future use with these, i'll update my review.

I originally bought the razer usb krakens (Model: RZ04-01200100-R3M1 SKU: 8501023), and returned them for these headphones. Wow...what a difference! The comfort level is ten times better, an so is the surround sound!! The voice morphing is a novel feature of the G35s, as well. If you want a gaming headset that will deliver top performance in sound quality/output, and in comfort for 6-8hrs+ of gaming....then get these headphones! Only, con is that the mic seems to pick up every sound from about 50 - 75ft away! But, I do not do much in game chatting, so this is a non-issue for me...if it is for you, then maybe these are not the gaming headphones for you. That being said, the unit feels solid in my hands and well built. The earpieces do not, however, lay flat. The braided cable is, another very nice feature, along with the on ear (external) mic mute and volume controls. The 3 programmable G keys are an added bonus. Downloading Logitech's gaming software was very easy, and I had the headphones up and running in less than 5 minutes.

I exchanged a Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma headset in for this Logitech G35 headset. The Razer Kraken advertises a surround sound experience, but the reason I brought it back to the store, is because the ear cups were too small for my ears. Regarding the Logitech G35, I will review the pro's and con's below. Pros: The headset is lightweight, easy on the head and ears, and boasts the utmost superior quality in surround sound. All I can say is OMG! It was like being in a surround sound theater. Logitech did such an excellent job with this headset. There are three programmable buttons, of which I have not used (yet), adjustable volume control on the headset and a microphone which features noise cancellation built into it. For those of you with background noise - do not fear. Using the Logitech software, you can preview what your voice sounds like, and you can even change how it sounds which is pretty fun! You have the option of purchasing more customized voices, but I do not have the need for it. I tested a few movies, plus the Logitech software has their own surround sound testing. You need to hear it for yourself - simply amazing! The ear cups are large which cover my big ears. I wear wire-frame style prescription glasses and I did not notice any pain nor other interference with this headset. I was using the Logitech G930 set, but that set was not true surround sound. The G35 is true surround sound! Your ears do get warm after long periods of use, so be sure that you give your ears some fresh air. The microphone is fully adjustable and again the voice is extremely clear. It's like you are hearing an improved voice of yourself - you've got to try it out! The headset itself rests comfortably on top of your head, and I did not notice any pain, or anything else. You do not really notice it at all because it is such a light weight, yet extremely durable headset. You can adjust both sides if you need the extra length. The USB cable is wrapped in a secure, anti-fray material which keeps the cord neat and protective. I had to straighten mine out before using it, but this was not a deal breaker for me as this usually happens with virtually any kind of wired device you may be using. My Razer mouse has this same cable. Cons: I had to extend both sides to the max, whereas on other headsets, I didn't have to extend them so far out. I'm OK with this because the headset is extremely comfortable. The headset is not wireless, so if you prefer wireless then you will want to choose the G930 - but you will not have the same sound quality in the G930. All in all, I would not change anything with the G35. It's perfect for my needs and in fact, Logitech has exceeded my needs for this headset.

Dollar for dollar, G35s Are Worth Every Penny

I work and play a lot on the PC and have owned about 7 pairs of headphones over the last decade including Sony, Turtle Beach, and other Logitech models; and dollar for dollar the G35s are the best. They are specialized for the PC so don't bother looking at them unless you want just PC headphones! I'm a gamer so comfort is important. I wore these headphones for 5 hours straight without any complaints. The application that comes with these headphones is easy to use, customize, and can recognize other popular applications (like iTunes) so that you can immediately start enjoying the use of the little G buttons on it. Things like 'sound morphing' for the microphone can be used at any time with any application that uses a mic (for me it was StarCraft 2 and iTunes) . The mute feature/light on the mic is a big plus, saving me the pain of having to test whether the mic was on or muted (the glowing red light always tells you). Sound quality is excellent whether it's 7.1 Surround or plain old Stereo. My only complain may be with the Bass which is adjustable in the application but never seems to feel quite right; but I would call this more of a 'pet pieve' than a complaint. Overall I think it would be very tough to find other headphones this good at this price other than Turtle Beach.

    Amazing Headphones PERIOD

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Pros: These are an amazing pair of headphones. First, the sound quality is amazing. It's better than anything I've ever heard. I'm listening to my music right now and loving it. The surround sound has worked extremely well for me when I watch movies. Assuming the movie was produced with Dolby surround sound, the headphones make it seem exactly like I am right there in the movie. I've heard things that I didn't even know were there. Also, these headphones won't be breaking anytime soon. It has a thick cord that has tough fabric braiding around the entire thing. The cord will not easily be cut for sure. It also has long rubber guards to prevent the cord from coming loose and shorting out. That is normally what kills a pair of headphones, but that shouldn't happen to these. They are very comfortable too. I have a big head, but these things have easily adjusted to accommodate. The ear cups completely surround my ears and don't just crush my ear lobes like other headphones do. The only issue is that after a long session of wearing them, the top of my head really hurts. It's odd, but no other headphones have ever done this too me. Like I said though, I have a big head. The microphone is great. It gets amazing clarity and the voice morphs are fun to play with. I have had issues with picking up background noise fairly easily, but by turning down the microphone in the G35 panel, the problem goes mostly away. If the mic is turned up at or above half-way though, you will pick up background noise easily. Also, I don't know if these were meant to be noise canceling, but they do that job really well too. As soon as I put them on, everything around me gets a lot quieter. Once sound starts playing through them, I can only hear really loud things around me. It's great for drowning out my two little brothers! As a plus, not only can I not hear them, but no one can tell what I am listening too. The sound doesn't leak out of these headphones at all when they are on your head. Cons: There is really nothing wrong with these headphones. I will note two things though. You will not want to keep the surround sound mode on all of the time. Really, it is only good when the audio is natively surround sound and is not stereo. The headphones sound better playing stereo audio when you just keep the surround sound mode off and then toggle it back on when you get to surround sound audio. Almost all movies now come in 5.1 surround sound though as do a lot of new games. Old games will not work well with the surround sound, so just keep it in stereo to get the best sound. This really is not Logitech's fault at all though. It is the fault of the old game software. It would have been nice though for the headphones to intelligently and automatically toggle itself between stereo and surround. Such an auto mode would be nice, but it is really easy to manually toggle it anyway.

I love this headset! Everyone in the clan I belong to can hear me clearly and easily. The microphone is perfect. Don't even get me started on how much I just love the surround sound. Games like World of Tanks, War Thunder, COD, and anything and everything else work well with it. I can hear my opponents coming before they even know they're coming my direction. It's comfortable to wear for those long gaming sessions as well.

Well i love everything about it. I have had a few problems though like ventrillo just stopped working on me and in game sometimes i can hear people and sometimes i cant. Also sometimes people in game can hear me through voice chat and somtimes not. But i love the sound in battlefield bad company 2. Especially the explosions. Also the footsteps...i can hear people like 30 ft away from me. Amazing sound system. But the 1 thing i just hate.....the cord..most people i talked to dont have this problem but the cord that leads up to the USB plug in. Everytime i look at it...its all tangled up. Now people might say "well untangle it" "How is that a problem?". Well this is why, the cord where it gets tangled up it like wraps around itself and i keep untangling it but it just tangles itself back up. It annoys me because it ruins the wires inside and the protective layer. About every 3 fingers i go down the wire theres a piece of the wire that wants to wrap up around itself. Now it will wear itself out and screw up the wires if it keeps doing this at the rate its going. Then a whole new headset for me. And these are a month old!!!! Still as i said MOST people have not had this problem with the headset while i am. Its still a great headset for PC users!

If you are a gamer, Netflix watcher, music enthusiast, or any other type of person who enjoys great sound quality out of there computer headset, then this is a great choice. The ability to control the features of your microphone as well as alter your voice is very nice. You can mute your microphone by simply raising it up or pushing a button. As far as sound quality, this ranks among the top products available for a computer. That is unless you are going more towards the studio quality headphones. With that said, if you are looking for a set of headphones that has great sound, excellent noise reduction, and a very clear microphone, this is a must have! The one major down side to them though is the price. They are a bit more expensive than I think they are worth, but you do get what you pay for so.. Also, they tend to be a bit on the heavy side when wearing them for long periods. I am not saying that it is extremely uncomfortable or anything, but you do notice they are there. Your ears will get really warm with the cushion that fits nicely around them trapping the heat in. Overall, I would rate this a good buy and must have for computer gamers.

I spent 2 weeks researching and trying different headphones and these were the best by a mile!! I had purchased a Soundblaster X-Fi Titantium HD sound card from Best Buy and then was trying all sorts of headphones that would plug in to the card. I tried Seinhesser HD 380Pro which were $200, the new Creative Tactic Sigma 3D headphones which were $90, and even the Titton Call of Duty Black Ops which were $150. The only ones that came close were the Seinheisers but I was out $200 for the headphones and $170 for the sound card. I was skeptical trying the G35 because you plug them into a USB port and don't even use a sound card. I was shocked when I used them...AMAZING!! On a side note, the Creative Tactic Sigma 3D's were the worst headphones I ever used. I actually wanted them to be the best because of price but I couldn't stand the low quality of sound. I got to return the Sound Car ($170), a logitech USB microphone ($30) and the Seinheisers ($200) which was the second best set up and pay $260 less in the process since all I had to purchase was these for $130 and they included the microphone. I am absolutely giddy how great these headphones sound...best I have ever owned and I have been playing online for 10 years now. I also have a huge head (6'4 280) and these are VERY comfortable!!

Once the right earpiece on my old Plantronics headset died, it was pretty clear I was in the market for a new headset. I'm a huge fan of the circumaural designs since they're wearable for hours at a stretch with no ear contact fatigue. If you've experienced this, you know exactly what I'm talking about, and you're loathe to have it happen again too. So let's dive into what makes Logitech's G35 a great buy. Pros: -Sound quality Who buys a headset for anything else? These sound great no matter what you're listening to. Logitech nailed the most important feature here. -Microphone quality The best I've ever had, hands down. Complaints that my old headset made it sound like I had a jet engine in the background are gone and replaced by total ambient silence and excellent voice reproduction. -Build quality The G35 is built like a tank. Good, hard plastic all around and a hinge on the mic that won't allow it to flop around like so many headsets are plagued by. Your mic won't reposition itself unless you actively do so, with just enough resistance built in to let you know it's going to stay in place. -Surround Sound The surround sound is a software solution, yes. Now that I've gotten that bit out of the way, I'll say it's easily one of the better implementations I've come across. There hasn't been a day that's gone by since I started using it that I haven't had to lift one of the earpieces up to make sure my main speakers weren't turned on. You'll be highly convinced that there's sound coming from an external source around you. When it comes to surround sound, that's a job well done. Cons: -Plugging A strange category, but if you like being able to have your headset plugged in and have your speakers going at the same time, this headset will let you down here. It's one or the other. I'd much rather just turn my speakers on or off instead of having to find the USB plug whenever I want to switch my audio setups. A small gripe, but it's there. Neutral: -Comfort I have to put this one in the neutral category if only because of how subjective it is. If you've got small ears, read no further: you'll love the G35. If your ears got you picked on in school, you might want something that has a bit more spacious design. It's a snug fit on me, far more than my old headset, but I've learned to appreciate it over the last week. -Physical buttons Another love it or hate it arrangement. I was used to having an in-line mic and volume control on my old headset that was replaced by the same functions on the left earpiece of the G35. The analog wheel rolls up or down to adjust your volume, and I feel it works well enough in practive. There's a mic mute button right next to it, and all the same applies as does with the volume control. If you've taken the time to read all this, you should be well satisfied that you'll love having this headset.

Picked the headset up from Bestbuy for $80 on sale to replace a Corsair HS1A headset. Have to say I'm very impressed about the sound quality difference. The bass is far better and the directional sound is very accurate (can easily identify someone walking around in quiet situations). The buttons on the side of the headset are placed pretty well and I prefer the buttons on the side rather then on the cord anyway. Music-wise and movie-wise I prefer my 5.1 surround sound speakers (desk speakers) and rarely use them for anything besides gaming, unless I listen to music during a game. Don't get me wrong, the sound quality is great, but it gets uncomfortable when I'm watching a movie or just listening to music. Although, being able to plug the headset in and have all sound settings adjust for the headset is simply outstanding as it takes no time to switch settings. Keep in mind, I've used a surround sound speaker setup as my only sound source for about 5 years so my preference to music and movies on them is just from long-time usage. It might just be me since I have a big head, but the headset does get uncomfortable at times. It causes me to readjust the headset every once in a while which can be bothersome in games.

set up was easy, single usb cable to power it, which is excellent, automatically diverts audio to headset, multiple ways to mute the mic, i liked how the controls were on the headset, and not in a remote that ends up flopping around... forms a tight seal, so that's good... multiple head cushions are necessary, i had to switch mine out immediately, i didnt like the standard one at all... build is good, feels pretty well made, the mic is very flexible, which is excellent... the bads, the weight is noticeably heavier than comparable sets, i.e. the razer carcharias... the cushioning is a bit thin, due to the weight, it doesnt feel very cushy at all... i wish you could alternate from headset to speakers via an on/off switch, but i didnt see that option... maybe its there but i havent found it yet... i wore it for about 5 hrs straight and i had no real problems... might be tigher on big heads... overall, an excellent headset... the audio quality is great, mic is sensitive, so it certainly lives up to what its built to do... but comfort depends on the user, so definitely test it out for comfort... recommended

I bought these headphones for two reasons... for voice chat in games, and for my own private surround sound setup. It fits the bill for both needs! The mic is convenient... easy to mute, etc. The surround sound works better than I expected; when I turn it on in Borderlands, I can clearly tell what direction shouts or gunshots are coming from. One unexpected bonus with these headphones... music quality is outstanding! This is my first pair of ear-enclosing headphones... I love them! I can actually hear subtle bass tones with these. Also, there is a lot of detail in music that I was losing with a pair of cheap headphones... it's breathed new life into these old songs!

Right from the box this is a very good headset. A little on the large side, However it makes up for size with comfort. I'm a Hard core shooter so comfort, sound, and mic is what draws me to a headset. The G35 delivers on nearly every aspect. First thing I noticed was the mic, it fits right at lip level just out of sit. However whats nice is a red LED on top of the mic, when you mute it the red light shows up. Were the mic sits puts that light at a perfect spot. Not annoying, but informative. Sounds fantastic, Ventrillo sounds crisp, clear, and no lag in sound. Battlefield Bad company two sounds fantastic. Using the home theater option lets this headset really shine. You can hear people 20+ yards away in the snow, or the footsteps on the first floor when your on the third. Lacks a little bass for large explosions. However a little tweaking can even everything out so it's not bad. 6 hours none stop Battlefield and no discomfort. Lastly it has insane noise reduction. Put these babies on and forget about hearing your own voice almost. Even with no sound it clears out the world around you with ease. (maybe bring on my next cross country trip or flight?) Over all I am very happy with this item. You get good bang for you $$

Brings the full sound to your games

Needed headphones to keep out the sound from my son playing Halo on XBox nearby. The surround sound field is awesome, with exact positioning of sound effects and dialog in most games. Mike is unintrusive when folded up and works great. They are a tad on the heavy side, so took a while to get used to, but the adjustments allow a perfect fit and extra top cushions are provided. Really adds another dimension to your gaming.

This product def. has Logitech written all over it, what I mean by that is they always give a good product and its always quality. I have tried turtle beach and razor products and I have brought them back the same day or the next day only because the store was closed lol. Its surround sound is sick, you can turn it on or off on the headset. The sound is really good, bass is good, hot keys on the side of it ( 3 of them ) and the volume to mute or to scroll up and down so the sound goes up or down. only thing I do have to say is the comfort does take a little while getting used to. It's just a little tight around the ears, and I scared to not deal with them carefully because I feel like something will break lol. Not cheat quality just a lot going on
