I got this as a gift for my birthday, and this was to replace some older Logitech speakers that had some outdated technology and was affected by interference in my office. The set up of the speakers was good. Definitely need to keep cord management in mind. If you have a really long desk, the cords might be just a bit short. Also could be where my PC is placed. These were rated the highest on various review websites in this price range. There were some notable issues such as the speakers disconnecting and having other connectivity issues with the GHub. I’ve been using them for about a month, I did have an issue with disconnecting. I already have another Logitech product that I have to control through this app. After the first firmware update, I reinstalled the app completely and have had no issues since then. The colors are cool, a decent amount of customization. One tip is to avoid letting windows control your speakers. It gets all wonky doesn’t recognize the speakers all the time. After reinstalling, I’ve been really enjoying the speakers a lot. I am a sucker for a sound bar or speaker with a subwoofer. Listening to music has been nice, although I mostly use the speakers to play PC games with beautiful sounds.

When I first got the speakers I was scared because the left one wasn't lighting up. When you get these speakers, make sure to update the firmware on the logitech website to fix this issue. For the price, I'd say these have great sound with good bass. The volume also goes very loud. This speaker system was intended for pc which I have but also works with xbox, and playstation . If you decide to use these speakers with a console it will cycle through standard rgb colors and will adapt to sound but customization is very limited if you're not on pc. My only suggestion is maybe a future feature to bring the G hub app over to xbox or make the changes save to the speaker from pc transferable to console.

The speakers fit my needs for my setup and their sound is perfect for my needs. While it might not be for the sound connoisseurs, for the casuals it definitely has what you need in sound. plus if you like a light show it has that option but if not it also has that choice too along with optimization through the logitech app you download on the web.

Sound sucks out of the box, but is easy to fix

The primary reason I bought these is because I have very limited space on my desk and wanted a lower profile speaker that could sit below/behind my monitor. Most computer speakers are in a more vertical orientation and looked bad or were blocked by the bottom of my monitor. This set fits just right and looks good on my desk to boot. Out of the box, the sound on these sucks. It's muddy, with mid-range being way too up front and the highs way too muted. But unlike other Logitech 2.1 systems, the 10-band equalizer makes easy work of that. Pull the mid out, push the highs and give a small boost to the mid-lows, and it sounds good. The bass is also not overpowering at all, unlike other Logitech 2.1 systems I've tried, and has a nice balance out of the box. I can see how some people would want more 'powerful' bass, but being an upper floor apartment dweller with a wife who is sensitive to bass, the more balanced bass is welcome. I can always crank it up if I really want to, but it runs the risk of getting muddy. I thought the lights with screen sampling would be gimmicky, and they are. But it's fun and I really love it. The big drawback is that the software is incapable of recognizing what's on the screen when your game is in fullscreen mode. You must play in windowed mode for it to work (this may be updated in the future but at the time of writing this review on 07/14/20 the screen sampling does not work with full screen apps). Otherwise, the lights are bright, but not overpowering, do a good enough job recreating the colors on screen (which will be different from panel to panel), and are responsive enough that the small lag isn't bothersome unless you're playing very fast paced games. While I haven't played any high demanding AAA titles with the screen sampling enabled, I haven't seen any drops in performance using it playing titles like WoW, the Batman Arkham games, Dying Light, and Jedi Fallen Order. For reference, here is my machine: Ryzen 5 3600 EVGA RTX 2070 Black 16GB DDR4 3200 RAM MSI B450 Tomahawk Max All in all, it's a good system if you aren't bothered by the pricetag. You can get far superior sound for a similar price, but the form factor was the right one for me and all in all I'm quite pleased with their overall performance. They sound good enough, look nice, and while the software has opportunities for improvement it more or less works as intended.

Great speakers, with a fatal flaw

Before buying these speakers, I was considering a much more professional (and expensive) setup, but prior to making a purchase, the speakers I wanted were discontinued. After another several weeks of research, I hesitantly purchased these on the recommendation of a friend. I was skeptical, because these speakers were far from the solution I was looking for, and I felt like the RGB lighting (which is a neat feature that I don't need) was driving up the price. I got them home, hooked them up, and found the set up with software to be fairly simple. The pre-programmed EQs were all terrible, but Logitech makes it very simple to make your own EQ. Less than three minutes, and I have them sounding pretty good. The one flaw with them is that, with a direct connection to the PC, they seem to only support digital volume control. When you turn something down digitally, the audio is essentially compressed even further, and the more compressed your audio gets, the worse it sounds. Because of this, I found they sounded fantastic at a high volume (and they are capable of getting VERY loud), but they still sounded poor at low volumes, with some lyrics even sounding distorted. At this time, I decided to try a digital to analog converter for my audio. The cons of going this route is that you lose control of the EQ and the lighting effects. You can hook them up digitally to set your EQ and then switch them to a digital to analog converter, and they will retain the EQ that you set, so its not a total loss, but you will still not be able to control the lighting on them. Because of this, I chose to simply turn the lights off. Connecting the digital to analog converter (I'm using a focusrite scarlett) dramatically improved the sound quality at all volume levels-especially lower volumes. In fact, I dare say they are the best sounding speakers I have ever owned. I am in absolute awe, and therefore I recommend them heavily- with some conditions. If you care about the lighting gimmick, just know that you will be stuck with digital audio, and your sound quality will be negatively impacted by volume changes. If you're an audiophile on a budget like me, though, and you don't particularly care for the lighting, pair these speakers with a solid DAC or audio interface and you will be blown away just like me.

If you want a solid sound system for your computer this is it with a base and light up speakers that produce excellent sound if you’re not in the mood to put a headset on these will immerse you into just about any game you play while provided directional awareness? As long as the speaker set up properly, lol meaning the left is on the left and the right on the right

I’ve had these for 2 months now and absolutely love them. The screen sampling is super fast and keeps up with you while you’re gaming and the colors change on your screen. The immersion is just fantastic. I’m not an audiophile so to me the sound is great. I don’t think you’d buy these anyway if you were an audiophile. Only complaint is the software can be buggy. Also in rare occurrences light mode will change to react to audio even when I have it on screen sample. So I just unplug usb connection from subwoofer, wait 5 sec, plug back in. In 2 months I’ve done this maybe 4-5 times? Not really a big deal to me because all the pros outweigh this con and the sometimes buggy software.

I was skeptic at first purchasing these speakers because I'm the type of guy that purchases stuff and then returns it because I'm just way too picky however I do have to say I did not return these. as a matter of fact I will stand by these all day everyday when it comes to price quality and everything. the subwoofer that comes with it knocks so hard with the loudness of the two speakers not only that it has the most easiest app you can possibly download and it's so easy to use you can set up the lights to light up to the base not only do they look stunning and visually good but the quality is where I'm the most happiest if you're looking to listen to music or play video games or whatever it is chat on discord while gaming it doesn't matter these speakers do it all and that is all I will say.

Small speakers, big sound. I got this when my old Klipsch set went out due to a malfunction with the 3.5mm plug. I wanted something that was easy to set up, and this is as easy as it gets: plug and play. Because it's a USB device, it makes switching between speakers and headset super easy considering I am down to a single 3.5mm jack on the computer. I can use my headset for gaming/streaming and then still use my phone for music, which is pretty nice. I can even play music from my phone AND sounds from my pc at the same time through the speakers, if you're into that kind of thing. I don't care about RBG lighting, so I have it off, I can't say anything about it, except that it's easy to shut off.

Not What I Expected with One Fixable Issue

I didn't know how these speakers would perform considering they don't look like much in the pictures. I noticed after opening the box the speakers were definitely bigger than I expected but not too large they take up too much desk space. Plug and Play Test: Plugged them in and played the first song I could and it sounded good but I felt it was missing something. Most users would be perfectly content with the sound but I dug a little deeper to get these speakers to their full potential. I went to configure the speakers in Windows and noticed they were set to a virtual 7.1 setting even though it was disable within the GHub program. Here was my fix to get them to their full 2.1 potential: First off install Firmware 122.1.21. (A quick search will show logitechs previous firmware installer) Firmwares higher than this almost completely mute bass at low to normal volumes. You can downgrade safely with no issues. Once you've done this, proceed with the steps below: Install Logitech G Hub. Disable all surround sounds settings in all profiles in G Hub. Disable all EQ settings in all profiles G Hub. Go to Windows Device Manager and roll back the G560 driver. To do this: Open Playback Devices > Right Click G560 Gaming Speaker > Properties You should see under Controller information Logitech G Click Properties in Controller Information > Change Settings > Driver > Roll Back Driver This should revert the Driver to Generic USB Audio which will force Stereo while still keeping your EQ settings. You'll know you've got the driver we want as the manufacturer will be (Generic USB Audio) and you'll only have stereo option in the configure option within the sound control panel. Restart the computer and then you'll want to play the same song again. After fix: I was absolutely blown away and felt the sound in my chest. It was something I was longing for in good speakers and I found it. Couldn't recommend them enough. I just wish Logitech would allow this out of box and not force us to use their virtual surround sound.

I bought these speakers a week ago. Its one of the best speakers i ever had with the RGB setup, the quality in the Subwoofer, the quality in sound but the reason i deduct a star is there is some static noise on the left speaker when you raise the volume up past 40. I tried everything to fix it but i am thinking it is the firmware. For a moment i thought it was loose wire from the left speaker but the static is still there with a volume past 40. If Logitech is reading these reviews or BestBuy, Please Help solve the static noise in these speakers for it is a common issue among the Logitech G560 community

Hello KC13, Very glad to hear that the G560 Gaming Speakers have been the best speakers you've ever had even with the static issue coming from the left speaker. In regards to that issue, it sounds like it could very well be a firmware issue. In order to update the firmware, you will need to download Logitech's G Hub software---making sure that your speakers are connected via USB. When you choose the G560's in the device menu, if you see a red dot on the settings icon, then there is a firmware update available and you can facilitate the download and install by simply clicking the icon and following the prompts. Here's a link to download G Hub:  https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024848873--Downloads-G560-Gaming-Speaker. If that doesn't fix the issue, than it could very well be a hardware issue with the wiring for that speaker. Fortunately, the G560 does have a 1 year limited hardware warranty. You can File A Claim using this link:  https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025079993-Warranty-G560. Hope that you found this helpful and that all is going well. Thank you for choosing Logitech. - Richard from Logitech
