The keyboard works okay, but I don't like the wave like illumination. Reading on the internet, it says the Logitech Gaming Software will allow you to change this, but the software doesn't run on Windows 8.1. The internet is full of problems with this software. I sent an Email to Logitech, but their response did not help.

Great keyboard for gaming. My son loves it and it was a great birthday present.

I love the Cherry MX red keys. They feel so comfortable to push in and don't offer much resistance. They are the most comfortable keys I've ever used. Only thing I don't really like about it is the static white lighting which can be annoying to some. However considering the low price and that you're getting red keys it's a fair trade-off.

The keys have a lot of "springiness" which takes a little getting used to, and they make quite a bit of noise if that's an issue for you. As for me, I like the feel and the sound doesn't bother me. The lighting is nice and bright but you can dim it or set it to special effects, if you wish.

Neat look but if you are a gamer, go with brown key instead of red

It was a gift for my husband. He's a programmer and he loved it.

I had been gaming on a Razer Black Widow Ultimate and this one blows it away in my opinion. I have one minor issue with the logo staying illuminated when I turn on the light wave mode, but have a service ticket in with Logitech and am hoping they will come up with a fix.

After setting up the keyboard I was looking for a way to change the backlight colors but it is monochrome only. Also it's a bit loud compared to other models like the Logitech G105. The size and keyboard layout are both good compared to the G105 which is huge and has way too many programmable buttons that push the Escape key too far away.

For the price this is a good gaming keyboard. I like it.

This is a great keyboard if you like this type of keyboard. This is not a chicklet type keyboard. I love the keys under my big fingers. The software that comes with it is also awesome. I like the extra keys on top to control volume and lighting.
