Customers are saying

Customers express satisfaction with the keyboard's quality, ease of use, and the inclusion of convenient features like volume control. Many appreciate the price point and the simple, effective design, although some wish for RGB lighting and a wrist rest. Positive feedback frequently highlights the software's customizability and the responsiveness of the keys. However, the lack of RGB lighting options was a common point of criticism.

    Awesome keyboard for desktops

I've had a lot of keyboards over the years, and this is by far the best one. Typing is actually fun with it, the keys are nice and responsive, and the stroke isn't to bad either. The mechanical key switches feel good, not to light, or to stiff, just right. The USB cable is braided, and feels like it'll last for quite some time. The back lighting is adjustable, and you can select how it back lights too (just on, or lights up only certain keys you choose, or a wave effect etc..). Whether you're just using it as a keyboard, or for gaming, it does both really well. I'm glad I bought it and will enjoy it for years to come.

This keyboard is very responsive and smooth. It does make some noise because of having red switches but it isn't obnoxious. Great keyboard, feels sturdy and durable.

It does what is supposed to and does it well. The backlit keyboard is nice, though it is not rgb, so if you are looking for that you will need to go elsewhere.

The cherry MX switches are perfect for gaming! The keyboard itself is of very high quality. My only complaint is that it doesn't have RGB lighting.

Perfect keyboard with the Cherry switches. Simple design, no wrist rest, and basic white backlighting. Specific keys can be programmed to be lit or not.

GREAT KEYBOARD with some slight gripes

Key caps with two characters, e.g. colon/semi-colon, have their vertical order switched leading to the more than normal grammatical error and that's being a fairly proficient touch typist. LED backlighting is not nearly as bright on both characters in these same keys as well to the point that the secondary character can be barely discernible in low lighting situations. Not bad but not the best for typing, but that's what comes with using Cherry MX Red key switches as opposed to Cherry MX Browns; not a negative, just it is what it is. Overall great quality keyboard and if it fits the bill of what you're looking for than would highly recommend.

    A Simple Gaming Keyboard

I like the simplicity of this keyboard. It's very straight forward with the media buttons. I also like the Volume wheel which gives you control when the game sometimes doesn't optimize it's sound or it just comes out blasting in your headphones that you can just quickly scroll the wheel down. The feedback on this isn't that great but at least I know that I'm pushing the keys down. I would say if you want a simple keyboard, this is the keyboard to get. And it's relatively cheap too.

Good keyboard... if you can find it on sale

I purchased this when it was on sale for $85. For a Logitech product, this is what you'd expect. Cherry MX red switches. The LED backlight is actual white LED's, so the refresh rate of them will not bother your eyes while using. When Windows is locked, it has a 'wave' lighting effect. If I had any complaints about the laptop, it's that it has a very thick braided cord, but the laptop does not have any additional USB ports built in, particularly for a mouse. There's nothing to comment on the keys since they are Cherry MX. If you're looking for RED switches, this fits the bill!

Nice replacement keyboard for our office worker

I purchased this as a replacement keyboard for an office co-worker who deals a lot with Desktop Publishing. She liked all the bells and whistles (well, the bells anyway) and enjoyed the positive feedback (clicks) the keyboard gives. The only thing she wished different was for a default lighting level available to be available without LGS (Logitech Gaming System) software download. But this was minor (just a few clicks to turn off lighting).

I've been looking into a decent gaming keyboard for a while now and this one was at the top of the list, for pricing, the mechanical keys, and back lighting. The Cherry MX Red switches make typing a breeze. I didn't think it would make that much of a difference, but it does. The back-lit keys are totally awesome, with so many customizations it incredible. Being able to highlight the common keys needed in each game is so cool. Highly recommended.

    Highly overlooked mechanical keyboard

There is no shortage of "gaming" branded mechanical keyboards, but I think the G610 is highly overlooked. It uses cherry red switches which are a dream for gaming (and still very nice for general use, as well). I had a set of blues before this and there is a noticeable difference in the experience. It doesn't have some of the "premium" gaming features, which is usually just more light colors. I got this for $60 which is a steal. This is regularly $80-90.

Admittedly, when I first started using this keyboard, i felt it was overly senstiive especially for non gaming purposes. It forces me to be a little more accurate in my typing as well. In time, i've grown to become much more accurate on it, and i'm almost as accurate on it as a standard issue HP or acer keyboard. For gaming it is responsive and you won't notice the high sensitivity as much. Typing long essays is not the most comfortable on this, but that's not really its intended purpose.

This is a mechanical keyboard with white backlight. My wife initially said the keys seemed a little stiff, but she has adjusted to them pretty quickly. The key movement is smooth, and feels softer to me then my own mechanical keyboard (an older Corsair Vengeance K70), but she seems to prefer that. The Logitech gaming software (which I downloaded and installed) is decent, but you don't need it to use the keyboard. Price was fine, especially for name-brand mechanical keyboard.
