Low Volume Issue - Not fixable - Don't Buy

I just wanted a decent sounding pair of headphone for gaming as the fake leather on my previous pair started flaking. These seemed good, had great reviews so I gave them a shot. Wrong move. These have an inherent issue with max dB/loudness/volume where it caps at a certain point and there is nothing you can do about it. I went through forums and articles and this apparently has been a long standing problem that has never been fixed. The max volume level sounds okay but there are situations where I need the audio a bit louder and the fact that there is nothing I can do about it made me pretty irritated. Returned these and bought the Razer Blackshark V2+...night and day! Wayyy better audio quality and easily surpassed the volume level of these logitechs. Also more comfortable and they were only $100, you get what you pay for, spend the extra $50 and the Roccat or Razers you won't be disappointed.

Hello. Thank you for taking the time to review the G432 headset. I'm sorry to hear that you weren't happy with the headset due to the volume. I know you've moved on to another headset, but when you were using the G432 did you have GHub downloaded and installed on your computer? Also, were you using the USB or just the 3.5mm into a headphone port? Either way, hopefully we can win your support again at Logitech G.

Comfortable to wear not to heavy the sound is great and so is the mic. On the down side the ghub app used for these headphones and all of logitechs devices is garbage it is the worst thing to ever be released do not buy these if you want them to work all the time. Ever update to the app these stop working and you need to spend 15 minutes fixing them and messing with the audio drivers and uninstalling and reinstalling the app over and over. Do not buy them.

    Not true 7.1 gaming

These only have 2 drivers and a stereo connection (3.5mm). This isn’t true 7.1. If you’re using a Nintendo switch, that’s only capable of 5.1 over HDMI. While this headset works well, it’s not a true surround sound experience. While playing games like Fortnite, I couldn’t tell where people were any better on these than I could on a lower priced stereo headset.

design and rgb light looks cool, but the headphones push into your ears quite hard, and the ears get humid and hot quite quickly, so comfort is not high.

    Seemingly Poor Quality

I first bought this headset At the beginning of July. Half way through august i noticed there was a crack in the cord from it being packed, which caused a short and the microphone would cut in and out while using it. I contacted logitec, and they sent me a replacement relatively quickly. But the replacement came in with another short. This time in the earphone. One side works perfectly fine, the other there is no sound what so ever. 2 out of two is not very good odds in my opinion. Also, the head band is too tight and painfully squeezes my ears after wearing them for any length of time.

    SO BAD

This headset has to be one of the worst headsets ever. This thing WILL break on you. I have owned 2 of this things. Biggest waste of money I have ever spent on something for gaming. It sounds great. Mic works fine BUT they are super super super super fragile. Don't ever try to remove the headset with one hand and make sure to set it down like its glass that's about to break at anytime. Wish I could give it below a 1 star.... Would love to put -5 stars.

I know that these are two different products, Logitech G332 and H390, but the cheaper H390 has a much better sound, and much better microphone. I tried both sets of headsets and found that the G332, although better made, sounds muted, completely devoid of treble. I tried two sets of G332 and both sounded very muffled. I have decided to buy the H390 and I am satisfied.

Audio is good i guess but the headset feels cheap and sounds cheap and the cord started to only work in one position after about 3 months of owning. Normal use playing video games and the most important part barely works.

"Newer" Does not Equate to "Better"

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Within a week of getting it the audio focus shifts to the right and the software isn't available to balance the audio distribution to compensate it, so the left headphone will become far quieter and the right will become louder. The G432 also uses much more plastic and cheaper materials than the G430, yet it's more expensive than the G430 was 2 years ago. Absolutely asinine.

Hi BrickyBoi, So sorry to hear about your disappointment with the G432 Gaming Headset and the sound issues you're having. From what you described, it sounds like there could be a couple of issues going on that are the cause and they both have to do with connection. First, and most likely, the cable for the G432 could be defective, especially where it connects, which could be why you're experiencing this imbalance. Fortunately, the G432 comes with a 2 year limited hardware warranty. Here's a link to File a Warranty Claim https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025072553-Warranty-G432. The second issue could be the headphone port that you're plugging the G432 into could be bad. Hope that you found this helpful and that it finds you well. - Richard from Logitech

I can hear everything OK but the mic doesn’t work at all, even if I turn up the sound audio or try anything the mic still won’t work. I have even hold it down if you were wondering if I didn’t answer doesn’t work so I just have to say good luck yours might work but mine doesn’t.

    They have a bad design

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The G432 headset has a similar design to the G430 headset. The problem is the part that says "G432" on it starts to crack after about a month. THEN you go to put them on or take them off one day and you hear a loud snap and the earpiece just dangles there. Where the plastic on the g432 is more durable than the g430 it breaks just as easy. If you go on amazon or google for the g430 headset, you can see that these break very easily. I had two g430s that broke in less than two months so logitech sent me a pair of these the end of august. Fast forward to the middle of october and these just broke on me a couple of hours ago.. I don't do anything besides watch movies. They sit on my desk when not in use.

been taking great care of this for the 8 months i've had it, audio quality started to go down over the past month but it was okay for me! tripped over the wire and it fell off my desk and onto my floor, the plastic holding the right ear part snapped off but i managed to tape it back on with duct tape. now there is a perpetual buzzing noise and the mic has stopped working entirely. this sucks as i use this headset to talk to friends over discord. i know this is my fault but i wish it was a little more durable, now i gotta buy a new one :( just be gentle with it
