    Great mechanical keyboard

Been looking for a mechanical keyboard for about a year. Was looking at the Corsair K70 with MX Brown switches, but they were unavailable. When this was on sale for an extremely good price, I decided it was time. I'm loving the Brown switches as they aren't as loud and still provide great tactile feedback. I don't like the regular style Caps Lock key, as I prefer the dented one, so I took that off, because I tend to hit that key a lot. I love that it had a USB pass through, so I hooked my mouse to it.

While I don't particularly like this keyboard over other brown switch keyboards, I will note that it is a decent value as mechanical keyboards go. The feature list will satisfy most as it met all my critical needs (backlit, brown switches) as well as some creature comforts (macro keys, usb passthrough and volume scroll). It's not a great value, but a good value. I may try removing the orings in place as the feeling on the keyboard is too close to rubber dome for me to justify the price.

I finally had to replace my trusty Logitech G110, of which I had for years. The space bar on that thing was finally giving out. After reviewing all the keyboards out there, I decided upon the G710+. I, of course, wanted to stick with Logitech due to their reliability. The G710+ offered almost all the same features that I enjoyed on the G110. For the sake of the review, I'll let you compare those. For what really matters: Pros: Comfortable to use, reliable, well made -- feels solid in use, not flimsy --, programmable buttons work as designed, and accurate. I have noticed zero input lag in my games (recent games such as the Division, Black Dessert Online) Cons: These are minor, but still annoying when you drop this much money on an item that goes for a tenth of the price for "entry level". The first is the biggest, but something I've learned to live with. The caps lock button is smaller than most keyboards. Even my small form factor travel keyboard that I use for work is larger. The first few weeks of owning it, I was constantly press caps instead of "a". I've adjusted, but I wish they would have made it normal size. The second is one that is advertised, but still wish wasn't a thing. The back light is a solid white. My G110 had multiple colors that I would switch around. Made for a nice setup and night mode, which is when I play most of my games. The white isn't bad, just not "eye catching". This is admittedly extremely minor and not a deal breaker as I knew about it before buying. I know you can mod, but I'm not that hardcore. It is a keyboard, after all.

I've bought, sold, and tried out multiple keyboard in the past including a slew of Logitech, Razer, and Cosair models. Some were too loud and clicky while others would lead to mistakenly entered keys (keys too close, too easily pressed, etc.). This one is perfect because it isn't obnoxiously noisy and has the right weight and feedback for each key press.

I was looking for a mechanical keyboard with white backlighting and brown switches. Even though this is a gaming keyboard, I love typing with it. It took a while to get used to the 6 macro keys on the far left as I noticed I was trying to use them as ESC, Shift, Tab, and Ctrl. The media controls are a nice addition that I forget to use most of the time. I haven't used the Logitech software yet but I'm sure it works great just like the hardware.

as always, Logitech makes good stuffs. This mechanical keyboard is more likely used on this popular online game league of legends. This keyboard doesn't sound like a mechanical keyboard when you press it unlike corsair and razer mechanical keyboards you can hear the clicking. Still a mechanical anyways. If you're looking for a mechanical keyboard that doesn't make that much sound, I recommend this keyboard or go for corsair K70 or K95.

Got this keyboard for some light gaming and to replace an old rubber dome keyboard. I love the feedback for gaming and my wife really likes it for typing up papers. The clicking of the keys and lower force needed to strike the keys (vs rubber dome) make typing and gaming much nicer. The clicking is not too loud either. It did take me a while to get use to the key spacing but it became second nature. There were some complaints that the keys were flimsy - I have not had that experience. I do know the keys are a standard type and can be removed for cleaning and for custom key sets later.
