Customers frequently mention the G710 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard's budget-friendly price point, highlighting it as a great value. The macro keys and Cherry MX blue switches are also well-received, with users appreciating their functionality and quality. While some users find the keyboard to be loud, this is generally expected for a mechanical keyboard.

I've been using this keyboard for a while and really love everything about it. The only thing I would say is the keys are quite loud so if that would bother you that is something to keep in mind

Great keyboard, but takes time to get used to

First off, this keyboard is awesome. If you know you want a full-size mechanical keyboard with blue switches, stop reading now. It's good and goes on sale a lot. If you don't, please try one out in store or from a friend. This keyboard has a slightly unusual layout, with the G-keys to the left originally throwing off my feeling for where my fingers were (nothing like pressing "caps lock" when you thought you were pressing "a"). After I got used to it, it's wonderful. The media keys are a godsend and I can't go back to a keyboard without a volume scroll wheel. Plus it goes CLICKY CLACK.

Great keyboard but not very durable...

I bought this keyboard on black friday for around $50. Though I believe the design is a little too busy, I was very impressed by the looks of it. The blue switches have quite a learning curve, but once you get used to them, you can type pretty quickly which is important to me because I'm a developer.
The issue I had is that after about 2 weeks of use, the keys began to stick and it would sometimes cause me to type 2 of the same characters which is exactly what blue switches to refrain you from doing.
I ended up going with the G710+ that has brown switches and so far so good.

I was looking for accessories from the Black Friday catalog, and saw that this keyboard was on sale. I was in need of a mechanical gaming keyboard for quite a while. I've only had it for a day, and I must say, this is the best keyboard I've ever got. Yeah it may seem noisy with the "clicky" keys, but I don't mind that at all. That's how most gaming keyboards are like anyway. If you're looking for a keyboard like this at this time, definitely go for this one. It's got all the things you need.

This keyboard has an excellent "clicl" sound. I am very enjoy this loud sound when I play games. Great deal to get it now, around 50 bucks you can grab a mechanical keyboard. By the way, it is cherry blue!!

Logitech makes some great PC peripherals and this one is one of my favorites. If you love mechanical blue switches then you'll love this keyboard. I love the backlit LEDs and the ability to control their intensity or turn them off.

Great Keyboard but not for gaming

PROS:
* Keyboard tactile feel (as you would expect with Cherry switches)
* Nice keyboard layout, and useful / attractive media controls (the volume control in particular has a nice feel to it)
* Backlist is nice, even if not completely even on larger keys
* The style, while bold, I find attractive.
CONS:
* The left control key broke, despite relatively light usage. This is somewhat common, as I found numerous other complaints of the same thing (same key, even).
Logitech is known for their great customer service.
* Cherry MX Blues are very loud.
* Requires 2 USB ports (Says so on box)
* Cherry MX blues are NOT recommended for gaming

As all mechanical keyboards are, the keys make relatively loud clicking noises when you press them. The keys provide tactile feedback, so that you'll know for sure when you've successfully pressed them.

I purchased this keyboard after I had a coffee accident on my other mechanical keyboard. So far I have been very impressed with it, and even with the "louder" keys, it actually is surprisingly quiet.

Great when it worked

Got this during Black Friday and loved the feel of this mechanical keyboard. However, about 2 months after started using this keyboard the w key started to fail. At first, the w key required harder press than the rest and over the course of a few days it stopped responding to more than half of all presses. In addition, it occasionally double or triple typed when it worked. Never spilled anything on the keyboard and q, e, a, s, and d (the other frequently used gaming keys) do not have any problem.
After searching online, I tried to clean under the key with some compressed air but didn’t seem to help and I'm not sure about actually washing the keyboard as suggested by some sites. It seems like a connection problem with the switch rather than dust or debris.
Overall, this is a great keyboard and hopefully I was unlucky with a defective switch. I’ve owned many Logitech products (gaming mice and speakers) and they’ve all been great. I have submitted a warranty claim with Logitech and will update the review with the result.

Came with dead L key

Purchased 2 of these on Black Friday. Opened the first one and hooked everything up. The L key was dead. For a $129 regular price you would think these would be of better quality. Glad the second 1 worked or my son would have been very disappointed.
