Awesome sound quality out of this set, sounds like people are right in the room next to you. Logitech's software is easy to install and use, even customizing keys is simple and able to be done for individual games. Software is compatible with Windows 10 Tech Preview, though you will need to download Windows 8 64 bit version. Battery life is around 7 to 9 hours depending on use--if you use the mic or have it muted. Recharge time is around 3-4 hours for a full charge. Only complaint is it could use a dock instead of a charging cable--I get the feeling the charging port will go bad after a year or two of use. I purchased the Geek Squad plan due to feedback of battery/charging going bad after a year or more--it was $20 bucks and I'll get a new set sometime in the next two years.

A good pair of headphones. They are great all around but a few points. They are cheap made and will break where the earmuff connects. The battery will quit holding a charge within a year. That is if the mini USB doesn't break before the battery dies. With that being said they are very comfortable even when gaming for hours, The 7.1 surround software sounds and works great in game.

Pros: -The sound quality is amazing, download the drivers and the logitech program and you'll have a really good time. -Charge time is long and it tells you when to charge it. Cons: -THIS IS HUGE: You need to be VERY careful and take care of this thing. It has two little plastic pieces that hold the headmuffs together that are very weak. I'm going through my second pair right now. Why did I go back if it broke the first time? Well the sound quality is amazing and it's probably the best wireless in the market right now. THE REASONS why I bought a second pair was because it was on sale (like 70-80 bucks) and it broke the first time because I was careless (dropping it when drunk or falling asleep with it while talking to girlfriend over skype eventually causing it to break). TL;DR: good sound quality, if you take care of it you'll have no problems but it's weak.

While I do use this for some gaming, it is primarily used for a wireless communication device when I work from home for VOIP calls. For that purpose, it excels. Great sound quality both talk, and listen (music, gaming, you name it). Much better than devices made for that purpose. It was money well spent. It can reach wireless from the basement to my upstairs kitchen, so the wireless feature works excellent as well. It won't cover my entire 3 level home, but good enough to reach the coffee pot! Having the controls on the headset are a huge plus as well for skipping songs, adjusting the volume, etc.. They are also programmable if you want to use them for something else. Would be nice if it had profiles to detect what was in the foreground on Windows like the G series keyboards, but no big deal... Very effective in blocking external sound. Sometimes too effective!

The design is very comfortable (even if you have to charge while using them) and easy to use. Good sound quality. Mic design is nice, and the easy to access quick mute button is very handy. Wireless works very well, and has a surprisingly long range.

Pros: Wireless Great battery life (at least 5 hours) Awesome sound Programmable quick keys Mutes mic when you flip it up Cons: Windows 10 seems to disconnect the connection if you're too far away for more than 5 min. Reconnects after about 5 seconds. (I had had windows 8 and started playing a new game and had heard windows 10 ran better for gaming (a mistake I wish I had never had done) had no problems with windows 8) Had a problem setting up voice chat and also believe the sync problems also came from having a logitech keyboard as well. Other thoughts: I believe as long as you keep the charging cable that has the dock for the wireless receiver plugged in and have the wireless usb in it, it recognizes it as a different logitech device.

Headset has great range and the battery lasts for quite a long time. It can still be used while it is being charged, so it basically becomes a wired headset when it needs to recharge. Good sound cancelling for background noise. Love them!

Great Headset, Beware of Connectivity Issues!

To start, the headset itself is pretty cool. I used the G430s before exchanging them for the G930s (the G430s were really creaky and just didn't feel well built). The G930 headset feels more solid than the G430s did. Wireless dock: pretty cool. The charging cable can wrap around it and the wireless receiver plugs in on top. Can be used separately as well. Microphone quality: I don't record or do intense amounts of gaming, so I can't comment 100% on this. However, I have not had people say that they can't hear me, nor have I had people tell me that the voice quality sucks. So it works. Sound quality: pretty decent. Can't attest to the virtual surround sound, since I haven't played a lot of games where surround would be beneficial, but in casual FPS games, it sounds alright. The sounds are pretty clear and crisp. I tried playing some music through them, however, and the bass wasn't really there. In the Logitech software, I had put the bass to +1 over the default levels, and it was cutting out. Not an issue, I didn't get this headset for the bass and music capabilities. But when it was default, music sounded acceptable too. So far, everything is pretty good. And that's how I felt too when I first bought them. Install was straightforward, software wasn't too bad. Then in game, about 30 minutes in, sound cuts out; cue connectivity issues. After searching, I found that connectivity issues are pretty widespread. It's the same here. My PC uses a wired connection with a Logitech MX Master mouse. The wifi router is in my room, but a good 13 feet away. Next to my PC is a VoIP phone that uses a wireless connection. So now you have the background. Connectivity issues: about 30 minutes into use, it'll cut out. No beeps or whatever, sound just cuts out, as does voice. It'll come back in a minute at most, maybe, if I don't do anything. Usually I'll just power it off and power it back on. Like I've said in this review, I'm no marathon gamer. My gaming sessions are probably 2 hours at most. And I don't play super competitively either, we just socialize on microphones, not talk strategy or whatever. So the connectivity issues I can deal with. However, if you are a more serious gamer and need something more reliable, I would not recommend you get these. I tried two different G930 headsets (new purchases, different stores) and encountered the same connectivity issues on both. The ones I originally got would last about 30 minutes before disconnecting; the "new" one I got would go probably 20 minutes. Needless to say, I kept the ones that disconnected at 30 minutes. But beware of this. Logitech hasn't really taken any steps to rectify this, apparently. That and the fact that there are connectivity issues to begin with lead me to rate this 3 stars out of 5. I WOULD recommend this to a friend, because my friends are casual gamers. If you are a serious gamer and rely heavily on a headset, I do not recommend these at all.

Good sound and volume level. This set is replacing my wired set of Logitechs and they're comfortable. My only real complaint is the battery life isn't terribly long but it's long enough to get through most any gaming session (and you can re-charge while you play).

I love the headset. It is a wireless set that has a fairly decent range and the battery life is good too. There are a few downsides. If you are a hardcore gamer that plays all day expect to stay connected to the cord. The charge cord itself is also kinda bad.

Nothing superb about the sound quality but it is worth the price. Battery lasts quite a while and if it dies you can still use the headphones while plugged in. The beeping when the battery is low can be kind of annoying. I have had these for over 6 months and nothing has fallen apart yet so build quality seems to be good.

I got this pair during a black Friday sale and I think it was a good price. The leather was more comfortable then I thought it would be. They are my first wireless headset. They work as expected except for the program that I had to install with them. Battery usage readings from the software I downloaded was off. It never displayed an accurate or even near accurate reading. Also the software was supposed to have voice changing capabilities, but didn't. I learned that Logitech didn't renew their contract with screaming bee, (the company that handled their voice changing software.) :-( There was a work around though. I had to download an older version of the software. I didn't really play too much with the current version of the software to see if it was better at managing and telling me how my battery life is doing. I do recommend this product, and try out current version of the software longer then I did. Hopefully the battery life is way better.

THe headset was great, I didn't need the programmable buttons & the software was poor in comparison to the Corsair H2100. I bought and kept the H2100's instead.. They aren't as well built but are a lot more comfortable and the software is more windows and user friendly.

The G930 has been my headset savior. I was in need of a wireless and durable headset and this delivered. The two issues I have though is the intermittent power cycling that happens. The headset seems to reset whether being used with my PC or PS4. Maybe interference (though advertised to protect against it) due to the 2.4 GHz freq but I have not found a permanent solution. Then the other but minor setback is not getting the 7.1 surround sound when plugged into the PS4. Overall I would still recommend this to anyone needing a steel headset that won't break after extensive correct use.

I really do enjoy this headset. The wireless convenience is really awesome. Mic is clear and blocks out outside noise pretty well. Sound quality is pretty good as well. Battery life is good with about 10 hours of use and you can still use it when you have it plugged in charging. The range on the wireless is a good 30 feet. It is comfortable. I would recommend this if you are really looking for a great wireless headset.

Sound is decent for the price point. Earphones are comfortable and side macro buttons are nice. Power button is a bit of a pain. Biggest downside is battery life. I haven't tested exactly how long but they certainly don't last as long as I like on a charge.

I originally purchased this headset to use with my PC in order to make VOIP calls. I love the fact that they are wireless, and sound quality is very good. I ended up returning them though because they would pop and crack and then drop connection at random times. They were also very uncomfortable after wearing them for a while due to the ear pads they use. If the wireless was more stable, I would have looked for replacement ear pads, sadly, the feature that made them great did not work as well as they should have.

Provides really great sound quality with surround sound and extra sharp details. Would give it a five, but for me, the headband gets a little heavy on my head if I wear it for a long time. Battery lasts a long time and charges quickly. Has very good distance. Also use this with work from time to time for conference calls. Can be moving around the office and still communicating as the meeting continues.
