    An excellent headset

I'm very happy with the quality of the G930. I play games like Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Black Ops and the surround sound is robust and satisfying (I'm not an audiophile, though, so keep this in mind). I also record for instruction and the microphone is clear and responsive. It's comfortable and the ear pieces rotate nicely so you can place them face up on your desk and still pick up the audio. The unit itself is a little heavier than past headsets I've owned, but I realize this is a trade-off of its wireless capabilities, which are incredibly convenient. If I want to get up from the computer and go get something, it's nice not to have to yank off my headphines and worry about situating a long cord so I don't run over it with my chair. The range is excellent as well, as I can move all around my house and still pick up the audio from the computer (it makes it nice to cook and listen to Pandora Radio, for example). All in all, this is an excellent product and I feel like it's money well spent.

I bought this headset a couple months ago. Since I have had this it has been horrible. It always disconnects from my computer so I won't be able to hear sound till I turn it off and back on. When t works it's great but it doesn't last more than 5 to 10 minutes.

Very good and clear sound (no annoying pops or static I hear with other wireless headsets) with no noticeable lag. Surround is convincing and bass is decent. G-Keys are pretty handy. Comfortable with decent padding, but on the heavy side. The use of headset while charging is major plus.

    Don't waste your money

Do not waste your money on this product. It will do what it is supposed to wonderfully for a few days, but without a doubt it will soon start to randomly lose its connection for a few seconds now and then, which would not be a huge problem if it wasn't just a sign of things to come. This product randomly starts making a buzzing sound, which will transition into a high pitched screech, and then turn off. You can turn in back on, and it will screech for a second and turn off again at which point your only option is to leave it be for 10-20 minutes. Logitech knows this is an issue and has not done a thing about it. I've tried every fix suggested by users and none of them have worked. I'll be returning these as soon as i can.

This headset is good, but I have had numerous issues with connecting it to my laptop. I have had to reset my speakers a few times. The headset even some how disabled my speakers and I had to restart my brand new laptop ten times in a row.

So i read a ton of reviews trying to find the perfect headset, asked all my gamer friends and ended up choosing this headset. What an awful decision. First week no issues, loved it, second week and ongoing has been nothing but disconnects. Got a RMA, still no help, tried a ton of drivers, and logitech software...still just disconnects, edited files, moved wifi signals, cellphones, etc still nothing but diconnects. Logitech also only seem to respond after you bug them a second time. Having a third shipped to my house from logitech, but I will probably resell it or refund it to BB if possible. Next time i will buy a corsair and save money, time and sanity.

    frequent disconnects

I purchased this headset after a lot of research on performance wireless headphones. Although these are intended for gaming, I use them in a professional setting where I am on Skype or conference calls. Very frequently, it gives out a short beep and lose the connection for about 5-10 seconds, and give me a double beep and reconnect. Since it always reconnects on its own, It is so annoying especially when I'm having important conversations. The problem remains even if you have the USB cable plugged in. Also, I found on Amazon a lot of similar reviews, so it seems to be a very common issue.

I need a headset microphone combination to record an online class I am creating. I purchased this thinking it would be a great product. But when I use it for recording it cuts out for up to 5 seconds at a time and the audio has intermittent beeping that is quite distracting. After doing several hours of recording and going back and seeing several places where there is absolutely zero audio in my recording I was a bit shocked and upset. I am returning these today and going to get something a little more reliable, even if it costs a lot more.

The very best wireless headset that I have found.

I can't debate wired VS wireless, but If you want a wireless headset buy this one. First I tried the Creative HS-1200 but was very disappointed (garbled audio and lockups/glitches followed by dying on me completely. This headset on the other hand has worked flawlessly. Very long battery life, comfortable circumaural design, good sound quality, excellent range, clear mike. I do have a few minor gripes though. Because it is so solidly put together, it is a little on the heavy side. Also sometimes I have to flip the surround sound switch back and forth to get the sound to work right. The base also gets fuzzy if you turn it up to loud. The base is the biggest downside, but I am still very happy with this headset.

Uncomfortable over time. Not durable over time. Will flake and battery will wear out within 2 years. Good for the money, assuming you get it on sale under $100.

    G930 is Great!

Absolutely love this headset. The sound quality is awesome and enhanced even more when you turn on the Surround. Long battery life as well as a long reach without losing signal. Now for the only real CON and only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars Something seems to be wrong with the driver that the headset uses. For me it caused the Headset to reset it self as if losing connection for a moment or turning it self off. While frustrating at first I did find how to fix it and have since not had any problems. I'll provide a link to the below for the fix. This entire issue is a software problem with the downloaded driver that Logitech provides. There is nothing wrong with actual Headset. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xjat1l5tGz0

These headphones are amazing when it comes to sound quality and comfort. I wasn't attracted to it for the surround sound, which i have to say leaves me wanting, but there's technically only so much you can do with stereo drivers. The main reason i got these headphones is because they are wireless. Ill never look back - the freedom of movement is fantastic...no cords to get caught up in. The range is pretty good, although i dont really walk around the house with them on that frequently. Battery life averages about 9hrs form full charge. One concern i had initially was having read a review somewhere that they wireless frequency is not enough to transmit the 7.1 data as well as mic data - absolute rubbish! I use it in that configuration all the time and it works 100%. They are well manufactured and are not flimsy at all. They will last a good long time. The only little problem ive had with these are that the Logitech Gaming Software sometimes struggles to identify the unit, and it requires a sequence of unplugging the USB receiver, restarting the software and turning on the headphones. Rather annoying at times since i utilize them on more than one PC, but if you dont have this situation: once the software has detected the unit it seems to stay connected without problem. In short, im very happy, and would purchase these again.
