I hear myself in a delay!

The sound is good, not the best but for the price its a good bang for the buck. . . Now I hate the fact that I hear myself on delay when talking which completely messes up my speech since I hear myself delayed by like a nice second or so. I just use my Turtle Beach headset when wanting to chat with friends while gaming. If anyone has a fix please let me know!

Amazing Headset!

WOW! ?I am very surprised by this Logitech headset, for the past few years i have had a feud with Logitech and their products, I thought i would give them another try. After using these headphones I want to experience the rest of what Logitech has to offer now.
It is AMAZING how easy it is to set these up! for non-surround sound simply plug in the usb into your pc, BAM, done! but go one step further to set up the surround sound by following a link to their website to download a great program that lets you customize everything about your G930's!
I use these for gaming and the 7.1 surround sound is awesome! In a game like Battlefield it is important to hear your surroundings and they do that and more.
I also use these around the house, I'll throw some music on my laptop and connect and do things around the house at the same time. There is no place in my house where the music gets even a little distorted.
I thought I wouldn't care for Wireless or wired, but now, I couldn't imagine having wires tying me down!

ok so i bought this headset because i am so tired of wired headsets. iv bought 3 Logitech g35 headsets withing a year. they all break because of the wire and the little piece that holds the ear piece together is just no good. the headset is great all the way around but breaks too easy.
I love this headset because of its light weight, long range and the fact that its wireless.
The only problem i have is that the headset losses connection every so often. which sucks cuz i use it for work. so im talking to someone and it just cuts off and comes back 5 secs later which is just not good at all.

Convenience

Wireless is meant for convenience, not quality.
However, the audio that comes through the headset is above my expectations (Noturne's ult in his ultimate skin is bass-rific). These stomp over the G430s and with the sale price of $70, it's a steal.
There has been remarks in regards to the headset turning off and on. I can confirm that it does, but that's when it is the results of low battery. Any other occurrence, I can't recall. I can get roughly 8-9 hours fully charged.
I would recommend the headset at the sale price, not at full price.

Sounds great but battery is defective

The price I bought this at ($75) was over half the normal price so I decided to get this to replace my damaged H600 Logitech headset. I figured I would enjoy the superior sound and 10 hour battery life. However, I was greatly disappointed with the battery. I charged it overnight. The next day it lasted about an hour and died. The application showed it fully charged in about 5 minutes but not so. Next day it lasted 15 minutes. I exchanged for a new one (props to Best Buy customer service and their exchange policy!). Again, charged over night. Again, lasted 1 hour. So I returned and got the H800.
Now, the sound was great. I felt like I was in the same room when on conference calls (I know it is a gaming headset but...) The surround test sounded really good, could hear good separation. My issue was the battery. Also, the range seemed less than the H600, even though it advertises 40 feet versus 30 feet for the H600.

My first wireless headset. easy set up. I read reviews on here about nit picking, i have had 4 headsets all about 100-150 all wired, and i was sick of running over the cord. I play 30+ hours a week. I put the microphone thru hell and back, it is durable. My last two headsets cracked on me. I have had these over 3 years'ish. Alli do is game, so i dont know about music and that side of it. I stream movies from my computer to tv and makes for when i want to keep house quiet. It also has a shortcut key on headset so for when your using the restroom you can hit the push-to-button. works with ventrilo/skype flawelessly. I dont know about battery time. i have them plugged in a lot, and when i want real wireless i just unplugg them. I expect battery deterioration when it comes to electronics cellphone/mouse/headset and this is no difference. I dont expect the full 10 hours but to be honestly i dont think of it however i am not blasting them the entire time i am playing. like i said i game, i am not jamming music entire time so maybe cause i dont strain them i get good battery life. One of best features is the mic, you just raise it up to mute and to unmute you just lower it. It has a redlight at end of mic to let you know your muted, it also has a mute button. It has 3 programmable keys, which you can set up macro's for ingame if you want, at one time i had a code for my password log in, i would just hit that button and macro'd my password in, one was my push to talk, just a little extras. All and all the headset might not be bose and i am not a expert on equipment, but this is the real deal, best headset i ever bought. There is an airtight kinda seal when you have them on for a long time, so if you shower and throw them on, you prolly should dry your ears out, but kinda makes for noise cancelling. i havent needed a new one in 3 years that i have had them. My wired ones lasted about 6months on the average, and hated the wired part. Dont listen to all these people nit picking, they want their cake and eat it too. For me and my usage/abuse/extended use, i would like to see the headset that replaces these, cause they got some huge shoes to fill. Buy them, dont think about it, you will be happy, trust.

Very Happy With Purchase

Read all the reviews on here and was kind of scared to purchase. Was about half good and half negative. Decided to purchase when they went on sale for $ 99.99. Decided if I didn't like them I could return them. All my fears have been put to rest. They work fine and sound great. Using an Asus gaming laptop. Nothing really fancy. They are loud and clear. No breaking up or loss of connection. I will admit they sound better on some games than others. Sound great on Borderlands 2 and Black Ops 2. Did notice that the quality on Diablo 3 isn't that great. May be the game though. As far as comfort I will agree with some of the reviews. My ears did feel a little sweaty after I had them on for a while. As far as the microphone my brother -in-law did say the background noise was a little loud. May be something I need to change in settings. If you can still get them while they are on sale I would say definitely grab a pair. If they aren't the normal price is really high.

bought a pair of these awhile back and part of the headband broke but the warranty didn't cover this---but I really enjoyed the quality of these headphones. They fit snug over my ears and the sound is excellent. I would greatly recommend these to a friend, a perfect buy for gaming.

I love this. I can use it on my xbox and my computer as well. I like that I can walk around and not be tied to my xbox. I am so glad Logitech made Wireless headphones. I definitely trust the brand and quality from them. You can also change your voice as well which is cool but I don't use it so much. I may use the demon voice more as I get the hang of getting it set up. It does sound pretty cool listening. I am making my brother get these as well. No more worrying about dogs chewing the cords like my last set.

Good headphones for a casual gamer!

I purchased these headphones a while back for my first pair of headphones. They were amazing but after about 6 months I did start hearing the build quality of them. This headset is made of mostly plastic making it far less durable than a headset made mostly of metal (HyperX Cloud II's). For a beginning headset it was a very great headset! Sound is great and they are very comfortable but for only 20-ish dollars more the Cloud II's are much better for someone who is planning on spending a lot of time in them.
Overall a better than average headset.

Not exactly what I expected

Picked up the G930 over the weekend hoping to have some awesome sound and was really looking forward to cutting the wire, but sadly, for me these are not going to be the headphones to do that.
Pros:
The sound was rather good and if you like your movies and games loud, this headset has plenty of power to blast your ears off. For me, that is where the pros stop.
Cons:
Battery life is not good enough for my uses. I'm a gamer and when I'm not gaming I'm watching movies so for me I have sound going pretty much all the time. Keep in mind that I did not have unrealistic expectations when it comes to having wireless anything, but I was getting about 4 hours of use off a full charge. Now in all fairness, I do like to have the sound up more than say an average person I know and the louder the volume the faster the drain on the battery, but having said that, I should be getting more than what I am.
Charging the headset is super slow so for me every 4 hours or so I was having to switch headsets while charging. I think their charging design is cheap - instead of having to plug in a mini-usb why not have charging contacts on the headset and a nice base to set it in.
I think it should be noted that I'm basing my comparison off the Sony surround headset in terms of battery life which I could easily get 10+ hours on a single charge, but no mic.
This really did not bother my, but I feel it is worth mentioning. This is simulated 7.1 and while the software does a really nice job, if you close it down you lose the surround and the difference is night and day.
This is a fair warning - while Logitech is not known for making cheap feeling products, I think they may have did just that. Overall the headset feels pretty sturdy, but in the most important spot - where the cups meet the head band - is super super cheap feeling. I read some reviews where people are having issues with them breaking shortly after purchase and I can now see how this could happen. If you do get the headphones, avoid pulling them apart to get on and off your head. Instead, slide them on and off.
Don't be lured into buying these because of the G-keys or the voice altering ability. They are nothing special. The buttons on the headset are not convenient to use and the voice alteration is just something for about 5 minutes of fun and then you'll be done with it.
Overall the sound quality does make for a strong argument for me keeping this headset , but in the end I don't like the battery life and every time I put them on or took them off I worried they would break.
Hope this helps!

Great when it works

The bad:
Big Logitech fan here, their products are solid. However, this headset has given me nothing but headaches. The connection will drop intermittently while it is on. When it drops, the connection takes about 3 second to re-establish. Some times, it will connect and drop immediately and go through the cycle various times. Extremely frustrating when playing Rocket League with friends and I am unable to talk/listen to them at crucial moments. After researching forums, it turns out a lot of people are experiencing this issue. It may have to do with Windows 10. Either way, disappointed.
The good:
Sound quality is great for the price, though honestly I do not use it for music. For gaming, it works great, the mic is apparently clear when talking to friends(so they say) and it is very comfortable around the ears. When wearing for extended periods of time, the top of the headset starts to bother my head but nothing big.

Great Sound / Huge Drawback

I love the feel and sound that comes from this headset, but the one big drawback is that it shuts off randomly and often. I'm struggling returning these because the sound is awesome and very comfortable but when you are in the middle of a battle trying to hear footsteps the stupid thing turns off. I will probably return these even though I hate too just can't keep something that only works 75% of the time.

This headset is very comfortable to wear, I wear it for hours and don't experience any discomfort. The wireless range is very good, for a headset that is primarily used for gaming, which presupposes the user will be in close proximity to the computer, I can go over most of my house and not lose connection. My son even switched from a competitor's headset to this head set because of better sound, easier set up and better wireless range. Highly recommended.

So I've had these for over a year and a half and quite frankly hatted them because they constantly kept disconnecting. Well I'm pleased to report that Logitech has finally gotten their act together and now it does a pretty good job of staying connecting.
Sound quality is so-so. Good enough for playing games and watching movies but not good enough for listening to music. The mic sounds terrible, but does the job. They do a good job isolating sound and they are pretty comfortable, I wear them for hours without feeling like I need to take a head break.

I was amazed at how well they put together the USB charging "dock" / hub for the system. The actually dock that holds the wireless USB adapter doubles as housing for the long cables to connect the dock to the computer, and the dock to the headset for charging. The cables are wrapped tightly within the base as to avoid clutter.
Of course, everyone wants to know about the sound quality. I would have to say while listening to music and playing games, the 7.1 sound quality is amazing! I use TeamSpeak 3 and for some reason, unless I have the surround sound feature turned on, it divides up the sounds between left and right, rather than playing all as if in a forward center position. The 3 buttons that you can customize only allow certain programs to be used, of which TeamSpeak 3 is not one of them. If you use Ventrillo, rest assured it is preconfigured!
Comfort is amazing, the headband's memory foam really allows for a weightless feel along the top of the head where there is normally a pressure point that would develop with extended use. The cups around the headphones themselves are initially uncomfortable as they seem to cut off circulation (I'm not kidding as I felt light headed) but after a second or two the foam reset itself so all was good after all. In fact, the ability for these to completely isolate you is impressive.
The quality of the material used is second to none, as is standard with Logitech products. The really nice feature is the boom for the mic; it actually flexes to the proper position and the mute button on the side of the headset has a red light at the end of the mic that will illuminate when the headset is muted. Then, when you hit the mute button again, it is extinguished. This is great if you're in a long conference call and need to use the loo without missing a beat. (Don't judge, we've all done it!)

Logitech makes great products as whole, and have renowned customer service. The only downside to serves product is the size, which I suppose is to be expected with a gaming headset. I love everything it is, but would prefer it in a smaller package.

I work for a telecommunications company and the headsets they provide us are horrible! So I bought his set to replace the ones provided. The first thing I liked was that the ear muffs completely cover my ears and they're very comfortable to wear. The noise canceling is also very nice. The microphones adjust-ability is very functional. I would recommend this to anyone who is in the market for a wireless headset.
