I had 4 different remotes to access my various sound, tv and movie items. Now I can put them in a drawer and say goodbye, now that i just need 1 (actually I need 2, the other for my Amazon Prime access itself.) Although I had a Best Buy technician combine eerything for me (I'm NOT technophile!), it was well worth it!!! It makes life so much easier!

This remote requires you to program each of your pieces of gear into a software data base program called Myharmony which then sets up the remote for each activity it is used for. It can get frustrating when all the units for an activity don't all respond to their IR signals.

This is a great remote for a small entertainment center. It has 3 quick buttons like watching TV, Watching movie, listening to music. You can program it and use the buttons for any purpose. It's easy to program for your existing devices. It will control up to 8 devices. Also has a help button when devices get out of sync.

We were used to using multiple remotes before we made this purchase. We had the Geek Squad program the device, not sure we could have done that ourselves. It takes a little time to get used to the way this works, but so far, we're really pleased with it.

This remote has an easy setup and works phenomenal.

Love this remote -- especially the activity commands and how you can program them for operating different activities like watch a movie or listen to music. I am even able to operate my Microsoft Zune player which is pretty old technology. Definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a universal remote with a lot of features for a low price.

Love this. Only issue is with cable box compatability. Some time the cable box does not turn on with all of the components. The remote asks you questions on the screen and helps to solve the issue. So this is great however theit would be better to have the cable box turn on every time

I'm very satisfied with the remote and it works great for basic setups. It will still work for more involved functionality, i.e. Smart TV options, but is tricky to get the setup right and may require hit and miss efforts, which can be a bit frustrating.

Love the Logitech Harmony remote. So easy to reset

This one device is a must for your home theater. Get one of these, set it up, and chuck the rest of your remotes in a drawer somewhere. It has a broad area of coverage for those of us who's components aren't all in the same place. It even has a help button/mode that walks you through a problem if one should ever arise. Simpler than "Remotes 101 for Dummies".

A few years ago I purchased a Logitech Harmony One remote, and have enjoyed it reliably ever since. It works well with all of my devices. I moved into a new home recently and wanted to purchase another one to use in a different room; sadly this product is discontinued, and the options were either more expensive or less capable. I went with a less capable one, and this remote is just "meh" for the price. It is very inconsistent with the Vizio TV, and sometimes I have to break out the TV's remote to access certain features like Amazon Prime instant video (it does work, sometimes, but not consistently). My Harmony One remote however does not have this problem. I would have paid the same $150 for another Harmony One had it been available, it's a shame Logitech discontinued it.

One of my remotes was wearing out so I wanted to buy a new one. Basically the only remotes available are these all-in-one. I'm no techno geek, but i'm not exactly wet behind my ears either. This remote sounded and looked easy to set up, but I was fooled! I found all the right information for all my equipment. But it took several tries to get any one of them to work. It has a 'help' menu which surprisingly helps. But I have to use it [help] almost every time I turn the system on. Also, it doesn't work well on an LG Smart 3D TV. There are some commands that only the LG remote can do and then the Harmony Remote has to be reprogrammed again!
