Great remote that does everything that I had 5 remotes for!

Was highly recommended by two friends. I'm as tech-savvy as them, if not more. Yet, the pairing process was frustratingly slow. Took more than 45 minutes to do what were supposed to be 3 simple steps - download software on my Mac, register, pick my devices (TV, Xbox & SoundBar) and complete pairing. By the time it was done, I was already half-minded to return it. To make matters worse, my TV IR is slightly blocked by SoundBar so at times when I switch to "Watch TV", the TV would not get the signal but SoundBar will turn on. Then, when I switch off, TV might turn on and SoundBar will be off. So certainly not usable if some of your devices don't have clear line of sight for IR 100% of the time.

This remote rocks for a beginner everyone should get one .

Every day, this remote saves me the aggravation of having to stumble around with 5 different remotes, I love it. It even recognizes when something is amiss and virtually self corrects. I took the batteries out of all other remotes and put the remotes in a drawer and the batteries into other items.

geek squad member that installed the Logitech item should have given better instructions on how to use . in future the geek squad rep should after several days call the customer to see if their are any questions on the use of this product.

When the Geek Squad came to help us set up our new sound bar and make all our components work on the sound bar, I had no idea there was a device so that we would not have to fumble with 3 or 4 remotes. We are so happy with the Harmony Universal Remote. By the way, our two techs were amazing. Thank you for making our life easier.

Ease of use and all my electronics are run from one remote

Bought this remote to control my tv, comcast box and samsung sound bar. It does all of that very we'll. All I have to do is click the "watch tv" button and it turns all of those devices on and knows which is used for changing the channel and which to use for sound.

I bought this to take the place of my much older Harmony 890 remote (although it still works). So far, it works fine. It does not have as many features as the 890, but will certainly be great for most people.

Once I collected all the information from my equipment it really only took me less than 30 minutes to setup the Remote. After the initially setup the Remote controlled all my devices flawlessly. I just wish the remote was capable of controlling a couple more devices.

Easy to set up. Way better than the cable company remote.

Love the fact that I only have to use one remote now.

So easy to have just one control to naviagate around

One has to patiently learn how to set up this remote. It will be the only remote you need. The Harmony button learning procedure, from the individual device remote, is the key to having one remote. In addition, being able to move button functions across a multiple page screens is a great feature.

would have been 5 stars, but it don't come with the cable to hook into the computer. would have cost them a few cents. I had one but I could see someone with apple products, which is a different cable then android, not having one.

Excellent. Easy to program and provides very good help features. I feel this remote will be exceptionally easy to update as I make future equipment changes. Very powerful IR signal. Really works well with a system. Turns units on and off as necessary. Very reliable and excellent battery life

makes everything easier now using only one controll

The logitech library contains information/support for many devices that are not usually found in cheaper ones (network players, DACs, etc.) Works nicely for me. I also like the fact that this is powered by 2 AA batteries, not the fancy charging one (which would likely die after a couple of years).

Geek Squad set this up along my with my Home Theatre about 3 wk ago so I can't comment on how easy it is to set up. So far, use has been easy - just click the "turn on TV" button and all the components automatically turn on. I like the "Help" button - if one of your home theatre components isn't working it will let know know which one.

I have a new Samsung TV and a new Panasonic DVD player. These two remotes along with my DVR and Yamaha Home Theatre remotes were a juggling nightmare. I put all four on my Logitech remote. The Logitech remote performs confidently and consistently with each use.
