Paying this much money for a remote to me seemed excessive. But I have a co-worker who loves his, the reviews were very high, and several reputable websites rated it 1st or 2nd. And only the higher end Harmony model beat it. This is well worth the money. You set it up online by finding your devices and the website finds the codes. You can then group and set up devices and load the programs into the remote via USB. I have a group that turns on the Receiver, DirecTV Genie and TV and sets the TV to HDMI 1. My other group turns on the Receiver, Blue Ray player, and TV and sets the TV to HDMI 2. And after you push a button, it asks you if every device did what it was supposed to. If you say no it takes care of the problem with one button push. Four remotes are no longer needed. My wife and I love it.

Good remote. I've had 3 different Logitech remotes and this one I like just as much. One draw back is this remote doesn't have rechargeable batteries or the ability to recharge the battery like the other models (one which Logitech discontinued). Overall a great remote to control pretty much any product. I have tv, receiver, PS3(w/ PS3 adapter), Xfinity Box, and infrared heater

We have two of these remotes in different rooms in our house. It was easy to program the remote. It's so nice to be able to control everything with just one remote and never have to search for the correct one. I also love that pressing "Watch TV" or "Watch a Movie" turns everything on and selects the correct inputs. It's very easy for guests to use our TV with no explanation of what remotes to use or inputs to select. I also love that the buttons are backlit.

Sometimes the turn all on/off feature only turns on one for the functions I have set up, so I need to go into the actual folder to toggle it's power function. Also had to turn off the motion sensitivity, it's so sensitive that minor vibrations will make it come on. This kills the battery quicker than anything else so it's best to turn it in the my harmony app when setting up for the first time. I have two of these for different rooms and use them for Tv's, sound bars, LG stereo system, xbox one s, AC. After you get the hang of it, it's a great tool and keeps you from having to need a dozen different remotes sitting out. The down side to something having full customization is that not everything will be intuitive to others who are not familiar with the remote.

Got this remote for Christmas. I checked the compatibility with all of my equipment of different ages, and everything was compatible. Website was very easy to find that info. The remote was simple to set up, I had the remote fully operational and using it in minutes. I like that the remote even has the special features buttons, for may equipment, that many remotes would lack. I have been using the remote for over a month now and I am very pleased with it

It is very easy to program. I was happy that it truly did control my Sonos system volume. Good remote for the price. While programming it, I thought it might even control my ceiling fan, but it does not. I often have to reset its connection with the TV power because it seems to forget, but it only takes a few extra clicks with the help button to correct it.

I also own a Harmony Touch remote that controls up to 15 devices which I got for $99 but I find the simplicity of this remote preferable. I do not miss the channel icons and i can program all the activities I need for my numerous devices. If you do not need more than 8 devices for your system, catch this item on sale and save the extra $20.

Easy to set up, links well with Dish Network remote functions (some other universals don't). Would be 5 stars but occasionally not all devices start up or shut down with the single button push, you have to power off the specific device but can still do that with this remote.

I had 3 remotes taking up table space in my HT room. This unit was able to condense them down to one. Really easy to program using the harmony website and software. Backlighting is adequate but the buttons could be bigger. I like the one touch option to turn on multiple devices such as the watch TV button. This is a good basic remote.

This is the second 650 I've had. Last one was given to me from previous owner but I think it was abused (may have had a few beers). The feature that activates the remote when it's picked up tended to leave the remote on thus wasted batteries. Finally it just quit, so I replaced with another 650. Works fine for what I need - 4 devices.

This is a great remote. It controls all your tech needs. If something doesn't work, for example, if the LG sound bar doesn't come on, you just press the help button and it tries to fix the problem. It usually dosn't fix the problem, but it then asks you questions and will ask if the sound bar is on and if you press no, it turns it on. It is very intuitive. It is the only remote I found that controls all my devices easily.

I have AT&T for our provider so I am really used to their remote. So for some reason it took my brain some time to get used to this. But once you have it down it is really nice. The best part is having all your setup on one remote, we have the TV, Sound system, Blu Ray, and Cable box plus our DVD/VHS player all on one remote. Nice!

Bought this with my new TV, blu ray player and Yamaha receiver, it worked with all of them on the first try. Programming the remote was all done via computer. Only issue I had is I use Firefox and when you hook up the remote to the computer you have to download a file to the computer to allow the computer to see the remote when it is hooked up. I could not get Firefox to load this file, so I used Internet Explorer, once I did this it took about 5 minutes to set up the remote and all of the pre-programmed functions worked on the first try. Worked so well I bought a second one for an older TV, blu ray and receiver in another room!!!

How can I say more about these remotes? I have been using them for many years and I am a fanatic about them. Logitech Harmony controls have remained abreast with current technologies and I can operate all of my components (with the exception of Fire TV) with this remote. They're easy to setup and with the HELP button guidance, it will never fail you. Top honors go to Logitech and their Harmony remote line!

This remote is a great addition to my entertainment system. most universal remotes don't recognize my surround sound or if they do you have to enter in complicated codes to add each function. With this remote just selected the brand and model and it works great. Only drawback is the battery life could be better.

IMO Harmony universal remotes are the best. Huge data base that's compatible with hundreds of thousands of devices make it simple to program. The 650 is easy to use and comfortable to hold. Color display screen and back lit keys make it easy to operate in the dark.

While you save up for a complete home entertainment system with an amplifier for real speakers, through which you can route your cable box and disc player and maybe a streaming Roku box and listen through a soundbar with a pair of surrounds, but you're getting tired of trying to manage all those inputs through your TV and all the other remotes. The compromise is this single learning remote, which lets you go online to conveniently preset activities like watch movie or listen to Pandora or watch cable, or play Xbox, and many times just pointing this remote and pushing the right button does the job so you don't need to use the remotes for all your other devices. When it doesn't quite work, it works with you to correct the settings until it gets it right. If it got it right after learning the drill a few times, it would be worth all the stars. Meanwhile, save up for some real speakers and a real amplifier, one that will let you use your smartphone for your settings, since at least you'll know the kids haven't lost it like they do the remote.

Love this remote control that turns all of the audio visual equipment off and on with one button. Can switch between tv, dvd, and tuner with one push of the button and this remote will turn off equipment that is not needed and turn on equipment that is needed. You do have to have some knowledge of a PC to program the remote but once that is done it is a piece of cake to use!
