Very good functionality. Not as robust as my Ultimate, but also a quarter of the price. If it had the recharging capability of the now-discontinued 700 & 750, I would give it 5 stars.

This remote is fantastic and works great with my Samsung Smart TV. It saves a ton of time not having to look for the DirecTv remote, the DVR remote, the stereo remote, etc., and it is easy to use to get to other smart tv functions.

Very happy with this control. Makes using the entire system simple. It lights up when you pick it up, so you can see it even if it's dark. The position of the buttons makes sense. One thing you have to remember is to remain pointing it at the controls until everything has turned on, or off.

Harmony makes the best remote period. They are easy to program anyone can do it . It's that easy and they work perfect, just remember to change the battery's on the 650 when it start to act funny.. Outside of that its the best remote for your money then comes the harmony ultimate remote ..

Great remote for the price. It is just perfect for not so savvy electronic users. This is my second one. I just wish it had a warning when you are about to run out of power. I have not been able to find a way to check it.

juggling remotes has been a headache for me for some time... with a tv, cable box, bluray player, AV receiver, hd dvd player (yes i still use it) all in my home theater setup my coffee table was full of remotes... this allows me to drop it down to 2 (some functions on my tv are simpler with it's remote) a PC is required as the remote is programmed over USB using software that to be honest could have a better interface and more options but it functions and once you set everything up the way you like it you won't need to mess with the software until you add or replace equipment battery life is pretty good though i do keep the LCD backlight times low enough to not put too much drain on the batteries

I've had a mixed experience with the 650. Pros: The easy interface and customizable touch screen make for a pretty seamless viewing experience. User-friendly (once you get the hang of it). The remote is also back-lit which is a great plus. The biggest pro is obviously the ease of having one remote to control all your devices. Cons: poor battery life (I've typically had to replace every other month). Lack of simplicity when it comes to programming or updating the remote- even minor changes have to be made through the PC software (vs. the remote itself) which can be a pain. And this may not be an issue for some, but the buttons are quite sensitive, making it easy to accidentally press one even with minor movement. If it falls or I lose it in the couch (ironically the reason I downgraded to one remote in the first place), it'll constantly hit 'Turn Off' and throw off the cycle/settings so I can't simply turn it back on to resume viewing. While it operates all of my individual devices for the most part, rarely am I able to switch between two activities (ie: switch to Roku and then back to TV in one sitting), and have it work on the first try. This even after constant tinkering with the presets/settings. All-in-all, I'd still recommend the 650 for anyone tired of juggling multiple remotes and looking to downsize to one remote (albeit with some glitches) for all of your devices at a reasonable cost.

Consolidates all remotes (DirecTV receiver, VIZIO TV, SONY BluRay) into one (1) remote and should be able to include home audio system when I get a chance to set it up. Set up was pretty straight forward even for thia "old timer"!

It turns on all the devices and you can program different settings for which devices it turns on. I took 1 star away because after all the devices are on, the remote is still thinking for far too long (in my opinion).

Once I figured out how to set it up (a simple enough process once you know how) the product worked well as advertised. It is rather eerie to press one button and see all your relevant componnts come on one afer another as the remote sends them commands in sequence. But two significant design flaws make the remote more awkward to use than it shopuld be, 1) The OK/Enter button is too small and it is too easy to hit it and oneoif the adjacent cursor buttons at the same time. The OK/Enter button should definitely be larger or at least raised a little higher than the surrounding buttons so you can readily hit it by feel in a darkened room. 2) The backlighting is way too dim, almost impossible to see. But for these two design flaws I would have given it a five-star rating.

The remote is extremely easy to program. I set up seven components in less than 20 minutes, five different brands - and one component that has to be at least 15 years old. Logitec did an impressive job with this product.

It took only a short time to set it up. It took me longer to find the model numbers of the items I was going to use it with. If something does not work right it fixes it in regards to the programming. I like how when you pick it up the back-light comes on automatically as well.

This remote makes my life so much easier!! It is great to have one remote that works everything and is so easy to use!! I especially love that it does not loose its programming even after a power failure!!

I had an older version Logitech remote that never set up correctly, would not change HDMI inputs. This one works perfect. The website setup was simple as pie. This was $75.00 and worth every penny. Down to just 1 remote for everything. Nice! Highly recommended**********

I own another Harmony remote that is touch screen. This one has buttons that you have to push. That's usually not a big deal however, several times one of the activity buttons gets stuck under the edge of the hole in which it sticks out of. If that happens your other buttons do not do their usual function and things go haywire until you pop the button out. This has happened several times. I love my other Harmony remote, so I would rather spend a little more and get the touch screen one. I would assume that if a button stayed stuck down that it would run down the batteries.

This thing can control almost anything. I've used it to control by Xfinity X1 box, LG TV and Definitive Soundbar as well as my lights! Only cons are it doesn't control my PS4 and you have to connect it to the computer to program. Overall, great value for the price!

I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to set up the remote. Instead of going through a list of equipment codes, I logged on to the Logitech website and loaded the exact equipment model. Setting up the command sequences was uncomplicated too. I recently dropped the remote and lost all the codes. I logged onto the website again and got an instant reload. I thought I would have to reload all the devices again. Pleasant surprise. The remote has a wide transmit zone. My TV is on one wall and the other equipment is on the adjacent wall. I can point the remote at the corner and control both walls. There is a learning curve. There is not a complete mapping of hard buttons to other remotes. Some of the less used buttons are soft buttons that must be accessed through the display window. Takes a little time to learn how to get to those buttons. Planning to buy a second remote for the basement.

I had an older version of Logitech remote that was wore out after years of use so found tv is remote at a reasonable cost. It was very easy to set up with the exception I'm having tv to amp problems but think that is because my new TV is trying to control it. Haven't had time to figure that out yet. But the remote itself works great. Nice it has all the smart tv controls for my Samsung 4k uhd tv. I did not find it very difficult doing initial set up as long as you know the model numbers of the equipment and what parts of the equipment you need to work with the activity buttons you are using. It's a good remote that does what a remote should do. Plus less remotes laying around is the biggest bonus.

This remote is great I love the easy set up it take about 5 minute and you are done, it works great with my Samsung sound bard , sony TV , cable box (AT&T) and sony 3d player I love it no more finding different remote to watch tv or movies one click and done

This remote was easy to set up using my laptop and the included remote to computer cable. In a short period of time I was able to program the remote to turn on my DirecTV box, TV, and surround sound system. The price was reasonable for what the remote can do.
