This remote was simple to set up and simple to use for those who aren’t very tech literate. Even worked on a Bose radio and gaming systems!

Super easy to setup and use. Just plug the remote to your computer and let it know what devices you have and it does the rest. I love the quick buttons to watch tv, movies or listen to music. Very simple to setup and once you get it done hit the button say to watch a movie and it changes the tv input, turns on the Blu-ray player and in my case the sound bar and puts it in optical mode. Simple enough for my wife to use. The only thing I don’t like about it is you have to keep toggling between devices say for volume or channel. Works great for what I needed of a universal remote. It us easy to program through the application and update and quickly get it up and going. I only have a couple downsides to it. I wish there was an easy way to see the battery level of the remote so that I would know when it is getting close to time to replace them. Also, randomly the remote will act like it is new when its not and give a tutorial of how to use the remote and I haven't found a way to get out of that other than to just go through the steps.

Not bad for the price and does what you need it to do

I like this remote, it does everything I need it to do and it's fairly intuitive. I like the backlit buttons, however I wish the top buttons were also lit as that feature would simplify things for me. I'm sure once I get more used to the device this will become less of an issue. It can lose track once in a while but once again it's intuitive enough to figure out what to do about it. For the price of this remote I think it's about the best you can get.

I bought the previous version and decided to upgrade.

Took a little to program and did not operate perfect at first but their customer service is excellent and gave me suggestions that worked.

This is the second Logitech Harmony remote control I have owned. The first, Model 650 worked fine until a couple of the numeric keys became unresponsive. It lasted about 7 years. I replaced it with the newer Model 665. I had difficulty in programming it with the Harmony Desktop software and called the tech support number listed toward the bottom of the website. The person I spoke with was able to complete the programming that had eluded me. A nice feature of this model is the ability to save up to 23 channels which you name to suit yourself, making keying in those channels optional. All in all, it's a step up from the older model.

If it had the pointer on the screen like the LG magic remotes, it would be PERFECT. There is definitely a learning curve, but worth the time to set up and learn to use if you are running multiple components. I LOVE how you can customize each "activity". For example. I set one up so that in one button click, it powers on my tv, blu ray, and surround receiver. At the same time, it changes tv and receiver to correct input modes. Excellent product.

This master remote is great! It's easy to use and it's not cluttered with too many buttons like the remote I had previously used before.

I bought this to replace an older Logitech universal remote that suddenly died. That one was at least 10 years old. Setting up the new one was easy. The software was able to retrieve the programming from the old 510 software and use it with the new remote, even though the programs are different. The old remote only allowed 5 programmable ocnfiguration, but the new one offers quite a few more. That allowed me to add a button to switch to the HDMI channel that has a Roku attached. With the old one, I had to pick up the TV remote to switch. I did have to explicitly program all the number keys to go to the cable box/DVR because the default was to direct those to the TV, but that was surprisingly easy. Next is the one ambiguity I haven't figured out. Both the DVR and the DVD player have run/stop etc functions. The remote has only one set. It's not clear if switching to watch a DVD will switch those functions to the ones on the DVD and away from the DVR. Still, grabbing an extra remote for some of these functions isn't all that hard.

Nice, lacks a few features, but great for the money

Probably the best remote for your money. It supports everything I've thrown at it. Also, battery life seems to be better than the 650.

I love Logitech Harmony remotes... as the product description would say, these are a great way to put aside multiple remotes and work with just one. I have used it to sync tv, dvd player, roku, andriod box, and this remote does a decent job overall. The only reason to give 4-star and not 5 is that at least once every couple of days, the remote will not start the tv right away. The remote's self help feature comes to the rescue and with a 3-4 more clicks, the remote works fine. But having to press these extra buttons on a regular basis can be a bit annoying sometimes.

First time I have found a remote that can easily control all my toys. Works for my TV-LG OLED65C6P, DirecTV Genie HR44-700, Receiver- Yamaha RX-V663, and DVD Player-LG UBK90 4K/3D. Am able to turn on/off each unit involved in each function I am using-Playing DVD, watching TV, Listening to stereo. Only problem I have is after using DVD and turning off all involved-DVD/TV/Receiver, I have cycle off and all units a couple of times sometime to turn off the DVD Player. I wants to continue to come back on. But, this is a one button function on the remote. No biggie. I like the way you set up all the units involved on one button by function. Plan to get another to try on my other system.

This is our first experience with a universal remote and we could not be happier. Easy setup and use in controlling several devices.

The online programming was easy. Push a button and everything turns on or off depending what you want. Great product for the money
