Solid remote, lacks some modern function.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought two to replace my 7 year old Harmony 700 remotes when buttons started failing. 665 is the same remote without rechargeable batteries. Twice the price in 2022 and apparently discontinued. Setup can be time consuming, but I was able to load my old programming without issue. Only IR (no RF), so it won't handle some of my newer items, but that's not an issue for me. Still a decent value for an infrared multi device universal remote.

Great Universal Remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have several other Harmony Remotes. I wanted to have one that was for ten devices rather than only 8 (like my 700 and 650). I was able to copy the basic functions using my Harmony account (software was already loaded on my computer) for eight devices. Then I added two additional devices. I had to reorder the screen pages to my liking and re-add a couple of buttons, but that was it. I don't use this for anything other than TV's, DVD players, and such so I can't say how it would work with other types of devices but I definitely recommend getting a Harmony Remote with a screen as it makes choosing a function and device easy.

A secret weapon.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a digital audio receiver, a tv, and a 4K player. We are up to 3 remotes. That does not count playstation controllers or remotes for other rooms and audio devices. This was a random item I never thought I would have ended up with. But three remotes sit in a drawer instead of on a coffee table. It will control a lot of devices, sadly the basic functions of a playstation is not one of those devices. But still, it is practical and easy to use.

Works well
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second unit as I used my last one for a long time and was time to replace it. The remote is easily programmable and works really well controlling my devices. It can be programmed for multiple tasks with a single button press. For example can press watch tv button and remote will turn on tv and turn on surround sound receiver and also cable box. You can then control volume on surround receiver while pressing channel buttons can change channels on cable box. Then you can press all off button and all devices will turn off at once. Very useful product.

Great universal remote
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this remote because the one for our FIOS cable box isn't universal and they don't make one that is. This was fairly easy to program, although the Harmony app is a little quirky... Sometimes you actually need to shut down the software and start it up again to see your changes (I found a pretty good YouTube video explaining how to set up the remote which warned me about it, so I wasn't surprised). The remote has a kind of sharp edge all the way around it which makes it a little bit uncomfortable to use, and a couple of the buttons really should be larger, but those are minor things. I'm finally able to control my FIOS DVR, LG smart TV, and old Onkyo receiver from one remote without having to punch extra buttons to switch between devices!

This works the way we hoped it would!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife and I bought this remote as a replacement for a harmony 350 that stopped working. After a little research, it seemed this would be the best bang for the buck. Since we already had the 350 set up, all we needed was a little touch up with the setup software, and then one more slight tweak. My wife loves this remote! With one touch she can get TV, Roku, the Blu-Ray player or the radio, and switching between devices is also just one touch. The 350 never really made sense to her, but this remote does. I also like how intuitive it is once set up. I do remember the setup software taking a little time, and you will need to have to know the model number of all of the devices you are setting up. But....the time is worth it to have one remote to handle all of your devices. We haven't had the remote for very long, so we can't comment on how long it will last. Nice job on an affordable remote!!

Last Of The Line
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Logitech universal remotes are becoming as scarce as hen's teeth. When the battery on my Harmony One went, I decided to pickup a spare remote. While this is serviceable, the programming is a lot "clunkier" than the Harmony One. It takes a bit of fine-tuning to get this set up, but it is now working the way that I want. if you are in the market for a universal remote, grab one of these because when they are gone, it is all over.

Why didn't I get this sooner?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wish I had bought this device much sooner. We had four separate remotes in the living room. My wife and I watch a lot of movies, so we were constantly switching back and forth. There are two small issues that keep this universal remote from a 5 rating. It is difficult to set up for most people. I had the Geeks come to my home to set it up. It was well worth the money, I would never have been able to do that. The other issue is that the remote is very sensitive to bumps such as dropping it on the carpet. It is easily fixed, but it is a hassle to go through the steps to do so. Overall, it has been great.

Good universal remote
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for our daughter who has a TV, sound-bar, and Apple TV. The set up was easy. The remote controlled watching Apple TV and the sound bar easily. I set up an additional activity to stream her mobile devices directly to the sound-bar. The sound bar requires the operator to press and hold the pairing button on the sound bar to connect devices to it. This particular model remote does not support a button “ long press” command. Our daughter has to do this manually every time she tries to pair. Not a big deal but domething to know sbout if you need such a command.

Wasn't very hard to set-up.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Until I ordered the Logitech-Harmony 665 10-Device Universal Remote, I had at least 10 remotes that I was juggling to get TV to turn on, or cable, or A/V receiver. The list goes on and on. When we had company at our home, they would laugh at how many remotes I had. I told them I knew when to use everyone of them. I must admit, it did get rather complicated and sometimes I would have to hunt for one that I had misplaced. Now that I have the NEW remote, life has become a lot less complicated. I must admit it took a little bit of setting up. From my PC I had to tell the remote what to turn on and the other inputs and outputs I needed. But after getting it set-up, It wasn't very hard to learn what buttons I had to press to get my equipment turned on and off after watching tv or whatever function I was using. I am very pleased with the Harmony remote and would recommend it for anyone else who wants to STOP juggling remotes.

Universal Remote - Connects To Your Laptop!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical at first, but this remote ultimately won me over. I dropped a star because I feel the buttons could have been made a little more premium - as they are a little hard to press & gummy feeling rather than premium. Otherwise the remote is programmed via an application you must install on your laptop, then simply search for your device and attach this remote via usb then click sync and you're good to go. You can also further customize/map each button to your preference in the application which IMHO makes this remote the best of all other universal remotes on the market today.

Works fine with a hitch
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this 665 to replace my old 650 which wouldn’t turn on my new Vizio tv at all, but would turn it off, and wouldn’t read being connected to my laptop to fix. This new one sets up exactly like the 650 but holds up to 10 devices. It doesn’t turn the tv on when I press an activity but then will if I go into devices/tv/power toggle, so at least I only need one remote now. Because of the Pandemic I have been unable to reach Logitech help, so don’t know if this is fixable. Otherwise, it works great, even controls my Roku, which the 650 did not do.

A good multi-device remote control
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This remote is essentially a Harmony 700 without rechargeable batteries. Unfortunately, our 700 would no longer charge so it became disposable. Annoying. Programming is fairly easy if you're familiar with Harmony's software (I am as we have numerous models) but it's hardly intuitive. From a user standpoint, it's really great for my wife who can't remember which buttons to press to switch inputs on the TVs. For her, the ability to program her favorite channels is also a plus.

A little confusing
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This works with my Samsung tv, Roku, Samsung soundbar and my nvidia shield. The only confusing is to go back on the tv there is a back button. The roku used the stop button. To pause on the tv u use the pause but on roku it is the ok button. And you have to switch between devives on the remote to use each device. That sounds normal but the Samsung remote that came with the tv works with whatever input the tv is on.. guess I was spoiled. I switched cause my kids smashed the Samsung remote and the amazon equivalent ones don’t ever work well.

The Best Universal Remote for the Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There is clearly no better universal remote for under $100. Basically, you're going to plug this into your computer, go to the My Harmony website, and enter the information for all of your devices (manufacturer and model #). Then you can easily set up activities like "Watch TV" or "Watch a Movie" so that you can control everything just by pushing one button on the remote. I would, however, recommend getting the protection plan on this device. While I love the functionality, I find that these remotes don't tend to live longer than two years.

Overall great product!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This remote is the best Universal remote that doesn't have app support. It is a little confusing to learn at first but once you learn it you'll be flying through the setup with ease. The only negative aspect that I found is that most times when you drop it defaults to the initial tutorial screen, which forces you to push a bunch of buttons to get back to the home screen to be able to use it.

Posted .Hi, we're glad to see you're enjoying the Harmony 665 Remote! The MyHarmony Software can be confusing sometimes. But we also have a Tech support team that works specifically with the Harmony remotes. You can find them here: https://support.myharmony.com/en-us/665?utm_source=logitech.com&utm_medium=global%20support%20link&utm_campaign=getting%20started%20-%20665. In case you have any issues, you do have a 1 Year Limited Warranty that can be used to get a replacement. Hope that helps.

Very good but eats batteries
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very powerful programming and button assigning through connected computer. With physical buttons one doesn't need to take eyes off of TV as with touch screen remotes. Harmony software a little glitchy and sometimes requires a few attempts but once you get it the way you want it's not an issue. Battery consumption is pretty high - roughly one to two months for a pair of AAs with heavy use.
