Drop in replacement of my harmony 650 which is almost identical, but this one supports more devices.

This sure beats having five or six remote to control different things works well fairly easy to use

I bought the Logitech Harmony 665 to replace a Logitech Harmony 700 because the buttons wore out (after a lot of use and several years). Unfortunately, the 700 seems to be discontinued, or I would have purchased another one. Comparing buttons to buttons, the 665 is almost identical to the 700. It programs the same way, which is to say, using one of the most non-intuitive applications I have ever run across. I was familiar with it from the 700, so I could brute force my way through it. (There is a way to copy the programming from the 700 to 665 if you've used the online MyHarmony app.) My biggest disappointment with this remote is the range of the IR transmitter. The 700 had no problems working across a 15' room. The 665 works maybe 1/2 the time at that distance and only if I lean forward as much as possible. (The TV and streaming box are the same ones used with the 700.) The only reliable way to get the 665 to work is to stand up and walk to about 10' away. That rather defeats the purpose. Would I recommend this to a friend? Yeah, if the seats are close to the TV. Otherwise, no.

I'm late to the party on universal remotes. I didn't need the highest end one. This one works great.

I've used Harmony for my customers for years. This one had the added benefit of a new look. Thanks.

Got this free as part of a promotion with the purchase of a Blu-ray player and I gotta say it works great. There’s an initial set up step where you have to plug it to a computer and download the app that lets you program your devices. You need to have your devices model numbers on hand to add your devices. After initial set up it works pretty well. You can create scenes which let you turn on all the needed devices for a certain task (ie. pressing the watch a movie button turns on your tv, Blu-ray player, sound system etc all with one button press).

I own several Logitech remotes and plan to buy more in the future as my needs change. The Logitech 665 is one of the best of the best. It is very versatile with a vast database of devices it can be programmed to control via the Logitech application. I even use it to control an HDMI Switch which was found in the database. These remotes can be used to replace a missing or broken remote by using the Logitech database. The 665 does not have rechargeable batteries and I decided I prefer using standard AA batteries instead. When the rechargeables go dead you can't use the remote until they recharge at least part way. Using AA batteries you just pop in new ones and your back in business. Nothing is perfect and this remote is no exception but the shortcomings are very minor so I will not even mention them here. Just buy one of these and you will not be dissapointed!

Works great controlling receiver, tv, cable box, and all other devices. One remote is all you need

Bought this when I had cable but since cutting that cord and going to Amazon fire stick, I didn't want to pay another fee to have BB come back out to re-program it. Don't use it as much as I need to use the firestick remote but if/when I need to, I will get it reprogrammed to do everything again. One downfall is that if you hit a button, it seems to mess up the all-in-one programming and you have to turn everything off, sometimes individually, and then turn it back on for the all-in-one. Not a big deal but a little frustrating. Still a great product!

I like the remote a lot, as it does what it says. It's generally able to control the devices I programmed into the remote. The buttons are laid out in decent fashion, but the screen is small and that leads to lots of 'clicks' to perform what you need to do. Lastly, the main nitpick is that the remote must be plugged in via micro-usb to reprogram or change anything. Being able to do this in a simpler way, either via bluetooth or on the remote itself, would be nice. I like it, don't love it.

I purchased this remote as an alternative to using my fire tv remote. After researching online I found out Logitech harmony could be used for this..But not this model, you have to have the model with the hub.

I brought this remote because I got tired of having to shuffle between 4 remotes with my new system. I like the small screen and that it lights up all of the buttons when you pick it up. It takes time to get used to switching back between my Apple TV box and the volume on the receiver. I’ll try turning up or lowering the volume then remember I didn’t switch from the Apple TV box and the receiver. I like this remote and I think it will just take a little more time to learn it and also teach my family how to use it also.

A wonderful device capable of mimicking 8 separate remote devices in concert and organized by activities. When identifying devices one creates a menu item like watch TV, Watch a DVD, listen to music . The seat up organizes all the items and settings needed to perform the activity. The only shortcoming is the lack of capacity to model the remote for things like Amazon Fire TV sticks. To add that one needs to buy a Logitech that is twice as expensive . This is my fourth harmony device they are far superior to any other multi deice solution I have found. Highly endorsed and recommended.

This is a great remote and can be used to control pretty much all components that you would have in your household. It is IR so you might need an IR extender to get it to respond to all of your devices if they are tucked away in a cabinet. The IR beam is wide so you do not have to point it directly at your devices. The programming software is very easy to use and there is a lot of good information (tips and tricks) on the Harmony support site. You may have to change the program 3-4 times before you get what you want. The first time I programmed the remote I found that I wanted to add more as I used the remote. It works great as a replacement DIRECTV. I added a couple of different skip buttons (2.5 minutes and 1 minute) to get past commercials so I did not have to push the 30 second button a bunch of times.

I really like the Harmony programmable remote line from Logitech, This is a nice inexpensive version that gives you a lot of the same control and programmability that the more expensive versions do. I do wish I could interface my iPhone as well, but that's where some of the differences lie between the this and the more expensive versions. Overall, programmability was simple and straight forward and operation works as expected.

I just purchased my third Logitech Harmony remote. I don't use it to turn on several devices at once to watch tv, listen to music, etc. The original remotes that came with a number of my pieces of equipment no longer work. The Harmony is easy to program to replace those remotes. Unfortunately the Harmony device itself seems to have about a two year life span. If it were more durable I would give 5 stars.

The Harmony 665 works great to turn on & off multiple equipment with ease once set up. This remote is more basic with no LCD touch screen but moves easily back & worth between multiple devices. A little slow at first but learns along with you & speeds up after a day or two's use. I have my Samsung smart TV, Yamaha receiver, DirectV, Apple TV and blu ray player all hooked up. I can turn on & off all items with one button. I had Best Buy program the main 3 key buttons to my most used items (Directv, Smart Hub on the TV to access (Netflix Vudu & Amazon Prime) and Apple TV so I can easily turn on or switch to each with one button. The receiver automatically comes on with each device selected (example: Apple TV & receiver). I also like that it's battery operated so I don't have to remember to place it on the charger each night. Very satisfied, works well and after a week's use have no cons.

It’s in excellent remote to put all your remote into one which makes watching TV a lot easier
