This is the fourth Logitech remote I've purchased. One for the living room, one for the bedroom, one for a gift, and this one to replace one that quit working after several years. Why? Simple, Logitech makes the only true universal remote, and it works great. Once it's programmed, which can be tedious, it's simple. If you want to watch TV, for example, just push the TV button. The TV and sound system turn on and the proper inputs are selected. Everything is controlled on the remote. No more need for multiple remotes or trying to figure out which remote does what. It can be a pain to program, if you're not tech savvy get the 16 year old next door to do it for you. Set aside 30-60 minutes to program it.

This is Good remote in the price range for the No nonsense straight functions if you do not need much of Bells and Whistles which you are not going to use anyway. Configure and forget it and you are all set. If you need fancy features such as Mobile Phone App, WiFi for configuration etc. then be ready to spend more money and get more expensive one. For basic and practical purpose to consolidate many remotes into one this works like a Champ. I found most of the devices are in their list and integrates well with them.

    Can't sort activities

I miss my Harmony One. I have a Harmony Elite in one room and that would've been overkill for my current need. Plus I didn't want another hub. Easy to set up activities but you can't sort them once you have them programmed using Harmony's software. I get that you can't do it on the remote but you should be able to do it using the software on your computer.

I got my first Logitech 15 years ago and it is still goin strong. I was not in the market for a new remote, but the 4K player I wanted was bundles with this remote for free. Let's face it...who doesn't like free stuff. It is a bit different than my original one as I can program functions in the "window" I have yet to figure out what I wann do with that. The buttons do iluminate, which is noce as this is in my theater. Overall good, free remote. Will probably be great once I really learn how far this remote can go as far as customization.

I bought this remote to replace my Harmony One remote. The Harmony one never really worked well for us. This 665 will worked flawlessly. I placed all me old remotes on a shelf, to see how long it work take before I needed to use one to do something this remote would not. 4 weeks and they are still sitting on the shelf. Btw, Have not had to replace the batteries since I started using it. So, I don't understand that particular complaint that I have seen in other reviews. Highly recommend!

I am one of those typical husbands with a thousand devices in the living room and an individual remote for every single one. So after my wife complained for the 52nd time, I started researching a universal remote. As a techie, I know that Logitech makes the all-time greatest remote controls. But they can get pricey super quick. So I researched one that was priced just right, but could still handle 10 devices at a minimum. That's when I found this one. The app that you use to set this up is incredible intuitive and efficient. The battery life is incredible, and user interface is so simple that even my wife had no trouble figuring it out. I absolutely love this remote, and plan on buying a second one for my bedroom. Highly recommend!!!

I had a previous version of this remote for years and finally one of the buttons stopped working. I didn't hesitate to get the newer version. This remote understands the state of your system and when switching between one task to another only does what's required. For example - going between watching something on the DVR to watching something on the BluRay player - the remote powers off the DVR, powers on the BluRay, and switches the input source to the BluRay. No needlessly powering off and on other components that can remain on during this switch. You can easily program activities to turn on and configure multiple components. And the remote is friendly enough that kids can use it to control the devices without much help.

One of the best universal remotes on the market

I currently have 8 devices (will be 9 when the PS5 releases) that run through a Marantz receiver that I used to have 3 remotes to control and switch between devices. My wife started to get frustrated with this so I figured it was time to look into universal remotes. Found this 10 device remote that is able to be set up via a computer so you are not sitting there going through codes for every single device. Easily one of my favorite $50 purchase in my life. It seamlessly switches between devices at the push of a button. Easy to setup. If something doesn't switch or turn on/off, all you have to do it hit the help button and it will automatically try and correct the issue (which is has 100% of the time). Highly recommend.

Bought the Harmony 665 remote to use on my Lanai with an older Samsung TV, xfinity cable box and a Roku streambar. Having a Harmony 650 remote for many years, I wanted the convenience of being able to use one remote to control these devices and use one button to turn on and off the devices that I was using at any given time. Having done this before, setup was quick and easy. All the devices were available in the app on my computer so I just had to define which devices were associated to watching cable and also Roku. Works very well and saves me from using 3 remotes when outside.

The remote is easy to add devices and does not use a lot of battery power. The buttons are responsive. If a device is nor responding to the button you have set for it, the help button works seamlessly to correct the issue. However, if the remote is dropped the buttons are unresponsive, you have to remove the batteries for 30 seconds, reinstall the batteries to correct the issue. Otherwise, great remote.

    Excellent Multi-Device Remote

This was a replacement for our Harmony Touch, which seemed to be failing to operate correctly. The Harmony 665 proved more than adequate for our home theater setup that included several devices connected to, or through, an amplifier. with the knowledge saved in the Logitech Harmony Desktop application from the Touch remote, the 665 virtually configured itself. The sole issue with the new remote is its lack of a capability to order the activities, which turns out to be minor in som ways as the activity buttons at the top of the remote are used more frequently than the lesser used options.

With a TV, DVR, DVD, cable box and a sound bar I needed something more than the Direct TV remote or the little Samsung remote so I got the multi remote. It wasn't to hard to program but it is too complicated for my grandchildren so they continue to use the Direct remote which confuses everything. It's not hard to reset the multi, but it's an inconvenience. If it wasn't for that it would be great. One minor problem is the OK button is too small and is surrounded by the 4 arrows which makes it hard to push.

This works well for smart television, sound bar, two game systems, a Roku, HDMI hub and Amazon stick. Distance is good and reasonably easy to program from the computer. the only downsides are that the new remotes are not as sturdy as the old ones and has to reprogrammed occasionally as it gets "confused" over time. While not perfect it remains better than anything else on the market. Battery life is mediocre.
