This thing controls my Xfinity cable box, my Samsung Smart TV, my Apple TV, my DVD player and my Onkyo 10 year old receiver (which is kinda rare). It will even change inputs automatically. This thing replaced 5 remotes and was so simple to program because it programs according to the model of the device which you set up on the internet at Logitech's site with the remote plugged into a USB port on your computer (cable provided). For me this was a lot of money for a universal remote, but worth every penny. It's also comfortable in your hand and the buttons press easily. You may still have to get out an original remote to do very device-specific special settings, but other than that, this does it all.

We purchased this to replace a Harmony One which had a cracked screen. Locating the specific Harmony site for programing required a search, but once located the transition was smooth. We were able to transfer the previous established sequences to this remote seamlessly. Any minor changes were easy to implement. It is very close to the Harmony One. It does have a litdisplay that comes on when it is dark. It may be back lit but it is also possible that the buttons are glowing. I cannot tell the difference. One needs windows 10 to program the device so it won't work if you are still holding on to windows 7.

As usual Harmony has another solid product on their hands. Would recommend.

Item works well but the only glitch is the response time with the Bose Solo 5 sound bar is it takes 1 minute for sound to come on with Samsung TV. Downloaded software update from Bose and installed to sound bar. Tried unplugging everything and waiting 5 minutes and powering everything up again but still had same results. I had the Solo 5 connected to a Vizio TV and it never had an issue remote worked great.

Overall, this is a very good universal remote. It is cumbersome to program it, but once it is programmed, it is always ready to use. I was impressed with the variety of makes and models available to add to the remote. The only other downside to this remote is that, if you don't use it to turn on a device, the remote doesn't realize that device is on. This means that you have to go through several menus and a lot of extra steps to be able to control the device that this remote didn't turn on.

This is my second remote that I found easy to use. The rest are confusing.

The universal remote has worked out very well for us and what we have now.

I have multiple Logitech remotes for the TVs in my house and I love the ease of use. The software to set up the remote is fairly intuitive and easy to follow. If there is any complaint, it is the software does not allow you to rename your remotes, so if you have multiple remotes of the same model, you will just see the model name with a (#) after the name and it is up to you to remember which remote is for which room or devices.

I like being able power everything up all at once, and down. However, when I do "watch TV" and use the Apple TV, it doesn't default to Apple TV control and my A/V for volume. Maybe I need to mess with the macros more. But I don't feel like trial and error. I can just use my Apple TV remote, once it is all powered on.

The best remote I've ever had. I have a home theater system that was in storage for a year. The remote went bad and the system has been discontinued so I could get a replacement remote. The system has blu ray/dvd, plus FM radio, so most 'universal' remotes don't work. I love how it uses an APP to program/reprogram it and if I ever have to replace it, I can just plug it in to the computer and load the programing to the new remote.

The remote for my surround sound stopped working so I needed a new one. I've always wanted a Logitech Harmony remote and now I have one, I Rule! The remote for my surround sound breaking was a great excuse to get one. I love the functionality of this remote. The only thing that would make it better is RF functionality so that it could control my Fire TV. On a side note, it is annoying that you have to run the software as an administrator.

Oh my gosh! After 25 years of 4 remotes and a couple of them only doing one function, this is a godsend! Now, everything, and I do mean everything.....TV, Receiver, Speaker System, Blue Ray Player......it all works with just ONE remote and it is so easy to use! When we upgraded to a new TV, receiver, and Blue Ray player the Geek Squad installers suggested a universal remote. I am pretty tech savvy, but my husband isn't. I was afraid at our age all the new remotes might be just too overwhelming for him. I do not regret upgrading to this remote and having it all programmed at all. Best thing we ever did! This remote is so easy to use and we no longer fumble around looking for a remote to control this or a remote to control that.....this does it all and is so wonderful! Thank you Geek Squad for recommending this.

Wouldn’t be without a universal remote, this is our second one. Love it.

Great and does the trick. Doesn't have the appeal as it's siblings, but it gets the job done. Setup is pretty easy too. Don't let your dog get to it though, durability is fair. Don't care for the feel of the remote, but I'm not holding it for more than seconds. For the work it does and for the price, solid purchase.
