    Reasonably priced true universal remote!

Works with all my devices cable box, a/v surround receiver, cd, DVD players, Netflix, LG TV. Sometimes need a little tweaking as sometimes every function may not work at the initial setup. I recommend if not tech proficient to call Logitech for help. You do need a PC to set up as it will not work with IPad. For Roku streaming stick unfortunately you have to still use Roku remote as it is on a different frequency.

    MAYBE MORE THAN I NEEDED

Works well, but a little complicated to set up the tv.dvr/bluray to actually control the volume without having to jump through a menu or two. I bought it to have better control over my Yamaha receiver, but it did not work for me. I would still recommend as it does the job and offers multiple layers of menus to control very specific functions on more complicated pieces of equipment........just wished all the buttons were already there, instead of sifting through menus.

    One remote for many devices...

Getting a new 4K UHD Sony 55" TV was great. And I'm hoping to add a PS5 with 4K BluRay player to my entertainment system soon. Tying it all together with a Logitech-Harmony universal remote just made sense. 10 years ago I purchased my first universal remote from Logitech, so it was time for an upgrade. Since then the programming of it takes more time, but it's worth it. And the price is reasonable as well.

Wasn’t sure at first, but it is a good remote

Be sure... be absolutely sure to open the Harmony program in Windows 7 compatibility mode (by right clicking the icon to open it and selecting to open with Windows 7 compatibility mode)... If not, it will freeze during the set up process. Once you get past that, it’s a quick set up and the remote works good... Only issue that I run into is that sometimes it turns on the tv, but not the sound bar (or vice versa). It’s not that hard though to troubleshoot this- just have to click on the help button and tell it which device isn’t on/off and then it works. I think it’s worth the price- it feels good to be able to toss away the smaller sound bar remote for this instead.

Worth the extra money to work with off-brand tv

We have a Furrion tv in our RV along with a Roku box and cable tv access when at parks. It has been a nightmare trying to get cheaper brand remotes to talk to our off-brand tv. None of the published codes have worked. This remote does it all. Programming was a bit time consuming as several of the buttons didn't automatically program, but isn't difficult. No codes to locate, the research is all done by this remote as you push buttons on the original remote. There is room for 4 devices on the display giving us quick access to each. Overall we're very happy to be down to one remote that allows us to change inputs, volume, channels, guides quickly.

Purchased for a family member who was trying to use 5 different remotes to control his living room entertainment system. You have to be able to download the Harmony app to your computer to sync, but once you have that, all you need is your model numbers of your equipment and it automatically knows the control scheme. Then you set up your routine (how you operate your system) in the app, and you are set. Press one button (Watch TV) and have it turn on the TV, cable box, and sound bar all at once! 3 remotes replaced just on that! Nice little screen shows what's going on, and a pretty durable device (they have a 2 year old) makes for a win!

Good remote after settings are dialed in

This remote takes a little bit of trial and error with the app to get everything working the way it should, but once you dial in the settings it works great. My biggest complaint is that you really need to make sure you are pointing the remote directly at all the devices until everything is turned on or else it might fail on one of the devices, but that is a minor complaint.

We had the previous model for a number of years. Finally the buttons or some of them would not work. WE looked around and found this one but had to travel to the Best Buy warehouse 30 miles away to get it. It works just like the previous model so we are happy. Just with Logitech would continue to make these all in one remotes.

You need to follow the instructions carefully, but this is pretty straight-forward to program. I love that you can program the function buttons for different setups, so now we just have to click “Watch TV” and everything needed turns on. Every once in a long while, something gets out of sync and either doesn’t turn on or off as expected, but it’s super easy to remedy with the remotes Devices menu option, and then just turn the device on or off that way, and everything is back on track.

    Remote for home theatre system

This is a very functional remote which runs my home theater system: tv, receiver and cable. It was a somewhat difficult to set up but it works. However, if a button is hit inadvertently it can take several minutes to recycle and get back on track. Occasionally, the only way to restore operation is to turn off entire system and reboot. I still like it and it is much better than previous remote.

This is my third or fourth Logitech Harmony remote. Each one has performed in pretty much every category really well. My only reason for deducting one star is that after the previous units, I feel like this one is not quite as well built as the previous ones. Sometimes 2 or 3 button pushes are needed where 1 always used to suffice. On the whole though, I haven’t yet found a component that these will not control.

This is our second remote. The first one had multiple issues including lose of use of the number buttons, volume control worked intermittently, then only would control the tv, so we bought the exact same one and went on the website to transfer the info from our old remote to the new one. The directions were hard to follow and didn't give us all the info we needed. Once we figured it out, the remote is working ok.

One of the best all-purpose remotes

This is a solid, well-made, universal remote that can control plenty of devices — just use the USB and go to website ( on a PC, not a Mac running Catalina — not supported) to enter the model numbers of your devices. And then this can control them. Is there a learning curve? Yes. But after 2-3 days, you’ll be fine. Only wish the OK button were a bit larger, and that it accepted voice commands. Otherwise, excellent value for what you get.

This is a great programmable remote and now it is discontinued! I hoper that the Harmony site will still be maintained as that is the key to this thing working so well. You just enter the make and model of the devices you want it to work with and like magic all functions are go! The Macros are very easy to set up and the buttons to assign also. Now, this may not be worth buying used if the website is going away also! I wish someone else would buy this product line from Logitech and keep it going. the best of its kind.

Wanted to set up so can manage cable box, samsung tv, dvd, and and older fire stick (via an ir reciever set up). impetus was that the old fire stick didnt control volume or change source ir turn off. we were always looking for a different controller. Its worked as expected. it was ok. wife still thinks it's complicated. thought i would have to do the same with another tv but the new firesticks already could do what i wanted.

A Simple remote for simple people

This is my second one because of the simplicity of the remote. Only complaint with this and my first one, if you drop it just right then it would stop working. Simple fix of removing the batteries worked, but just annoying. Simple to program, as long as you have computer access. And in my case when I bought another one, it already had my codes saved in the program, so the switch was streamline.

This is a pretty good remote overall. It makes a good starter if you’re looking into having a universal remote that can run activities at the push of a single button. My only complaint is that there is no battery indicator or any warning of a low batter, and it can eat through batteries pretty quickly. Would still recommend.

It is very intuitive and easy to use. The first one they installed had a problem so the Geek Squad replaced it with a new one. The only issue I have with the remote is that probably 25% of the time, the on/off feature doesn't work on the first try and you have to press the help button which always solves the problem. If it wasn't for that annoyance, I would have given it 5 stars.
