I outgrew the remote that came with my harmony hub so I purchased this one since it can be setup for use with 10 devices. The remote takes a bit of tech knowledge, but I have no complaints. It takes longer to setup because of its robust feature set which is the norm for devices like this. The software is very easy to use and I currently use it to control about 5 devices and my harmony activities as well.

I had this model universal remote and it lasts about a year. I am now on my third one because they don’t make many universal remotes because of streaming devices. This model is easy to program and it makes my watching experience enjoyable. Too bad it’s being discontinued.

This is a great remote for the price point. It can control several devices and is easy to program. You just need a computer to plug it into and know the model number of what you want to control. The Harmony Software walks you through the rest. The only reason I left a star off is because the top buttons aren't the best design and sometimes get stuck when pressing them. Either way, this is an amazing remote.

I have been using harmony remotes for years to get rid of remote clutter and maintain family happiness. I bought this model to replace the older 670 model which lasted about 4 years before some of the buttons wear out. These remotes to chew up AA batteries and I recommend using rechargeable or lithium to get longer life out of them. Occasionally things can get out of sync, but when that happens, there's a convenient help button and you just follow the prompts to correct the problem until it gets resolved. Each step it asks, did that fix the issue and if so, you are back in business.

I’m not going to lie the software to program this thing looks ancient and it’s pretty clunky but you only need to use it for the setup. Once you get passed that and the remote is programmed it works great. Rather than having to turn on all my devices one by one and switching HDMI inputs for different activities I can press one button on the remote and all the steps are done simultaneously. It’s a great convenience and I love it.

I have had 2 previous Harmony 650 remotes and they are the cat's meow. The 650 is no longer available and this is a functional replacement that is very similar if not identical to the 650. However, the price on this model is approximately 50% more than the 650, but then everything has gone up in price. Would buy again.

Fairly easy setup for a relatively complicated device. I think you need a PC. A phone would be difficult to use as a setup device given you need to see a fair amount of stuff on the app to program the unit. The shortcut buttons at the top to turn on and set multi devices is very useful and very easy to get up and running. CUSTOM programming additional buttons is a bit trying. Just stick with it. Once you get the hang of it, you can make this thing do a lot of steps if you need them. My system requires 12 keystrokes to switch from the sound bar to headphones. Now with 1 push of 1 button I can toggle to the headphones or back to the sound bar. Oh and the 4 remotes that were always someplace I wasn't are replaced with 1.

This remote works well and is easy to use and switch between devices being controlled. I really love using it. The only issue I had was with the software downloaded to set the device up. My Apple Mac book pro gave me a message saying the software needed to be updated to work better. It still worked but it doesn't instill confidence when one of the first things you do needs to be updated.

I really like but the initial set up is not the easiest but once you finish it its easy to use. The only down side is every once in awhile it wont turn on or off the TV with the main power button so you have to select it in the window and then push the power button next to that.

I purchased two 650s over the years as they failed (they didn't constantly dropping them, shock). So, after many missed catches of the last one, I purchased this new 665. Excellent choice. Handles as many devices as I needed, and the really nice surprise was the My Harmony migration process from the old 650 to the new 665. I plugged in the 665 and My Harmony was all set to copy all the programming from the 650. I tried it, being a bit skeptical as most migration programs don't work. This did! Smoothly, quickly, no issues at all. I also prefer the tactile feel of this remote over the 650s. That is a personal preference, you'll know when you try it in the store. All in all, a pleasant and very positive surprise as a replacement remote.

If the user makes an error, the entire program is up set and makes it difficut to use. It was properly set up by a highly competent tech and I was provided instruction. No problems there. However two days later I was not sure and hit a couple of buttons and threw the whole program out. I fool around for 15 minutes or so and finally make things work. Not sure what my next step will be.

The Logitech Harmony 665 remote is an excellent product. It can control any device that accepts IR inputs. This remote is truly universal; on the off chance that Logitech has not included a particular device (VERY unlikely, because they have data on almost ANY device that might conceivably be connected, directly or indirectly, to a TV), it provides for the remote to accept and remember any input from the original remote. I highly recommend this remote, as well as the 700 & 650. In fact, in my experience, Logitech generally produces quality products.

Great remote that's easy to setup and use on a daily basis.

I've been using Logitech Harmony remotes for about as long as they've been making them. Maybe 10 years now? A couple of the buttons were wearing out on my 650, so I got this vastly more capable unit for a great price. It's so easy to set up and it does everything. But I didn't like a few things. 1) the battery wears out in a few days, so it needs to be charging whenever it's not in use, 2) the volume buttons can't be pressed without picking the unit up as I like to keep it on the TV tray and just press the button, and it's so powerful, and 3) that you have to go through menus to do nearly everything. The older, uglier 650 didn't have to problems. I gave it 3 stars because I've got some unique gripes that may not be an issue for most people. It is a beautiful device though. I sure hated to return it.

This remote provides a way to control TV, DVR, DVD, audio, surround sound, radio, etc. all from one device rather than needing to use a different remote for each box. Programming can be a little confusing in terms of getting the right input for each box, but once the set up is complete it is a convenient way to watch tv, listen to radio, watch a movie, etc. with just the press of the corresponding button on the remote.

If we didn't already have similar Logitech Harmony remotes for our other two TVs, I would have gotten something different. I've discovered that the most frequently-used buttons (e.g., "Watch TV", "All Off") start to fail after a few years. So far, I've had to replace two of our original three Harmony remotes due to this issue. Unfortunately it looks like Logitech has discontinued this line of remotes, as my family is now very used to this particular button layout. I guess eventually I'll be forced to replace all three of our current remotes. The clock is ticking. :( I would recommend this to a friend because the button layout and the web-based programming UI are very good, but the limited button lifespan is definitely an issue (though not a deal-breaker).
