Good Remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This remote works as advertised. It was easy to program on the computer so that pressing a single action button will accomplish what would take several presses on different remotes. For instance, the Watch TV button turns the TV on, activates my soundbar and changes the HDMI input to the one my TV is using. The only issue I have with this remote is that I must point it pretty much dead on at the component I want it to command.

Replaced my old 880 and it was about time.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My old Harmony 880 remote worked well for about 15 years, but when the 2nd replacement battery swelled up and died, I decided to upgrade. I was amazed to find out that my $250 model 880 could be replaced with a much nicer Harmony 665 for $60. Because of my experience with the old remote, it was easy for me to program the new one, although the software had changed the concepts were similar. The biggest improvement, for me, is the backlit buttons so that I can see them in the dark. The programmable color screen is readable and the buttons are raised enough that you know when you're pressing one.

Good battery life. Works with Sony VHS.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Has most of the buttons for my Sony VCR. Seems to be missing the locking fast-forward/fast-backwards scanning that my missing original remote had. Much longer battery life than the higher priced rechargeable Harmony that I returned. Could only get a couple of days at a time out of it. This one uses AA batteries and has lasted over 2 weeks so far.

Put an End to Juggling Your Remotes
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You can't beat a device that lets you substitute a single remote for three. It was a real juggling act with individual remotes for a TV, Cable box, and DVD player and this Harmony product did away with them all. I've used a Harmony before when I also had home theater sound and a CD player, 5 devices in all, and it was more than up to the task. The remote gets programmed for your devices via a software app to their database that's real easy to navigate (but you must have the make/model number of your devices). Simplify your life.

disappointed in quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this is my fourth harmony 660/665 in 4 years—-the buttons wear out way too soon. Today received my new 665 and the labeling is missing on the activities buttons!!....(right out of the package)... the good news is that the newer 665 is identical to the 660 so reprogramming with the logitech software is very easy...quality control is poor on these Chinese made remotes...

Easy upgrade from Harmony 650
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had a Harmony 650 (silver) for a couple of years that started to wear out, and when I looked for another one found they were discontinued. I called Logitech to see what I had to do and found out all you need to do is load the new device into the software and then copy the routines over. Really easy although I would suggest you use a laptop when you are programming these so if you make a mistake you can fix it easily without having to go back and forth to the desktop. I currently control the TV, Dish Rcvr, Blu-Ray, Roku, Firestick and Denon amp and so much easier than the 5 or 6 remotes I used to have out on the table.

Works well
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The remote is good and actually better than I had expected. However, there is a delay in the operation from the time the activity is selected and the actuation of the activity sometimes. The volume control does not work well after the TV comes on initially but after a few moments it seems to work correctly. I don't quite understand it but it seems like it has to "warm up' which can be irritating

Awesome remote worth the price
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great smart remote and the price is definitely worth it. It does take some getting use to and navigating your programmed devices. But I gave it four stars because the batteries need to be replaced more frequently than my TV and Cable remotes. But it does let you know when the batteries are low so that’s a plus.

Does just about everything you want it to do
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m a fan of this remote. My home theatre consists of a TV, PS4 Pro, Xbox One X, Apple TV, DirecTV receiver, and Sonos Playbase. This remote controls all with ease (though it needs a direct line of sight to each). Moreover, the volume and channel buttons have a nice feel to them that the DirecTV remote doesn’t. Certainly worth the money though with anything more complex than my setup it wouldn’t be recommended.

Works for Samsung TV & Cable
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far it has worked okay. This is the second Logitech remote. Used to manage our tv and cable. Still trying to figure out how to capture the volume control in the remote. The one item which is not great is the extremely small words under the top buttons. The lettering should be bolder and in another color.

Good Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has a little slower response than the harmony 650 it has to remember more thing to do. When you turn on the TV option it turns on the TV and the digital interface devices at the same time, but not all the time. So I have to use the help button and go from there. It has to be pointed just right. I didn't have has much of a problem with the harmony 650 doing that. All in all I'm pleased with it and the price was right.

Lots of options DON'T let the batteries die
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this with our new LG TV. It can be a little overwhelming with all the options. Only thing we don't like and we found out when Geek Squad came to set up TV and remote, was the remote has software that has to be loaded by the Geek Squad. If the batteries die, this remote NO LONGER works and you have to have the Best Buy reinstall the software in order to use it.

What a clicker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a gift certificate that was about to expire for the store and really didn’t need anything so after walking around aimlessly I saw this remote and thought, I can go from five remotes down to one - I had a remote for: vizio tv, Samsung sound bar, Sony blu-Ray player, Roku, and Firestick,. The only device this doesn’t work on is the firestick and that’s because it doesn’t have the sensor that all the other devices have, fine by me. Set up was easy as you just hook up the remote into your computer and get the model numbers of your devices (that was the most time consuming part) and then just plug in the information. Get it! Declutter your remote life!

Works as described
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great remote and does a fantastic job of bring all remotes together. This worked very well for my Optoma projector, Denon 7.2 amplifier and Sony blueray player. Set up is very simple, has option to transfer programming to new remote, no messing with network or mobile app, better than hub based remote, easy to update activities. My projector power off required the user to press the button twice. i called tech support and they fixed it via remote access. Very happy with the purchase. It will not control Roku streaming device but i am ok with it.

Simplifies my life
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I watch most of my TV through a Roku box and with this remote I can access all the Roku features along with the TV functions and switch to OTA TV or DVD player easily, still using the same remote. No need to juggle three different remotes. You will need some sort of PC to run the configuration app and some time to properly set everything up for the devices you own but all the devices I needed have definitions available. If you're the type who doesn't want to spend any time doing such configuration -- you might hate it -- but it works great for me. Only negative I can think of is the "Select" button, which is used a lot with Roku, is very, very, small.

Solid all in one remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good choice if you have visibility to all of your components (if they are all sitting on shelving or a rack). This doesn't have RF capability, so you want line of sight to your stuff. It is easy to program with the software you download, and works for what it is. Ultimately returned to get a remote with RF capability.
