I watch most of my TV through a Roku box and with this remote I can access all the Roku features along with the TV functions and switch to OTA TV or DVD player easily, still using the same remote. No need to juggle three different remotes. You will need some sort of PC to run the configuration app and some time to properly set everything up for the devices you own but all the devices I needed have definitions available. If you're the type who doesn't want to spend any time doing such configuration -- you might hate it -- but it works great for me. Only negative I can think of is the "Select" button, which is used a lot with Roku, is very, very, small.

This is a good choice if you have visibility to all of your components (if they are all sitting on shelving or a rack). This doesn't have RF capability, so you want line of sight to your stuff. It is easy to program with the software you download, and works for what it is. Ultimately returned to get a remote with RF capability.

A very nice addition to your audio visual system. This is the third Harmony I have bought. I have 3 TVs and the unit is a perfect way to consolidate all actions for using the TV and audio system since you can code up to 10 devices. Set up with Logitech website was a little cumbersome.

Has a lot of features, but signing in to the PC everytime you want to make a change is a pain. I have two, can't rename the remotes, so they both identify as "Harmony 665". The programming isn't really all that intuitive, I suspect it can do more than I'm using it for, I just can't get it programmed through the PC software.

My Harmony 650 of 8.5 years wore out and was time for a replacement... Selection process was not rocket science. Previous Harmony lasted 8.5 years, so... The 665 was a no-brainer. Exact functions to the 650, so far as I can tell. Only defined difference is the case (front & back) is black. No issues, regrets, set-up is a BREEZE, can control pretty much anything that has a remote, not just TV's and DVR's. Highly recommend this, especially if on sale.

Works great! Nice to only have one remote vs. 4. Only issues is sometimes it locks up if I use the programed Netflix ( That may be a programming issue in my part.) I also had a hard time getting it to connect to my computer to program it and ended up having to program it on my wife's Mac.

Do you have several devices? This remote turns on exactly what you need only! press one button for what you want...want to watch movies...press the movies button, ply a game? press play game. After you press what activity you would like it shows you the multiple devices you may have. It even has a HELP button. If something is not correct press the help button it will try to correct it on its own and if that does not work it will ask you a series of questions...very easy to use! The best! We are on our second one! we wore the buttons out on the first after 8 years!

Had some initial difficulty in loading the correct desktop software onto my iMac, but once loaded, programming the Harmony 665 was fast and easy. I used a rechargeable URC for years and thought nothing could be better, but the self-programming aspects of the Harmony 665 made me soon forget about the expensive URC. I also enjoy not having to place the remote in a charging cradle each night. I now have two Harmony 665 remotes, and they are programmed to control different devices such as different brands of smart TVs and cable boxes, and a home theater system.

Should be able to recharge the batteries when plugged in via USB, has most functionality of the oem remote although a bit bulkier just wish it was easier to get certain custom button mappings and also don't like that very often I have to go back and tell it which device when I haven't changed devices yet

Great remote! One touch of a button turns on everything and you can program several different things. For example, if you want to watch regular TV. The TV button turns on the TV, stereo receiver and direct TV box while programming the volume on the remote to control the stereo receiver volume which is hooked up to our surround sound speakers. Very cool! Another advantage is if you touch the wrong button on the remote. Our last remote would change our set up but with with this remote nothing happens which is great.

I’ve loved the Logitech items for years. This programmable universal remote is the BEST value for the price you pay. It has a huge database for your equipment and is super easy to program. And, if you don’t mind getting a little technical, you can program it to do so more specialized actions. TAKE NOTE, Logitech is discontinuing production on their remotes. I believe this to be a HUGE mistake and they will reverse it. Fortunately, Logitech IS continuing support for their devices.

I really really really like this remote. I personally install my TV my sound bar with sub woofer my cable box and my DVD player. And every single item had its own remote. I came to Best Buy and the tech suggested this remote for the price that I wanted to pay. It was very reasonable considering the amount of time I save not having to find differentDifferent remotes trying to turn things on and off up or down. It’s a long ergonomic remote. It lights up when you pick it up so you know what buttons are punching. My only dislike is the very top of the remote buttons do not light up such as the power button and the activities button. Other than that I love this remote.

Well I thought it would actually do more than just what I bought it for. Setting up for different devices was fairly easy but, the setup for multiple devices is really finicky if you have other controllers being used. Might work better if both controllers are the same. We have the controller that came with the box from the phone company (fiber optics for all services) and this one. They don't play together very well.

My Verizon FIOS remote had stopped working. I could have gotten a replacement for about $18, but I saw a review raving about the Harmony 650, so decided to give this a try instead. I have Verizon FIOS with HD DVR, a Panasonic Plasma TV, an LG sound bar and a Sony BluRay player. This remote knows about all of them. Set up was very easy: connect the remote to a computer via included USB cable, start up the software and select each device you have. My TV is over 10 years old, so I was concerned it might be unknown, but no problem. That was pretty much it; now this single remote controls all those devices. Very happy with this purchase.

Unfortunately our cable company doesnt support voice command geature which was reason we wanted hatmony remote. So we returned it.

I am not too impressed with the functionality of the remote. It is good that I can control more than 1 device but there are delays in the remote's performance. I find myself pressing a command several times vs 1x and respond. Must remember to switch between TV mode vs Sound bar to control the content. Work in progress, but if you want to take multiple controls, into 1, then give this a try.

I bought this remote because my first remote started having problems. I searched the internet and this model was still top on the list. It only works with infrared not Bluetooth or internet. So the Fire Stick, Alexa and Roku will not work. I have been using it every day with no problem and I have all my home theater devices connected, even my fan. I am sad that Logitech decided not to continue the line. For now I am in good shape but will have to see what is available when this one fails.

If you are looking for a value, simple to use, easy to program universal remote, this is the remote for you. Set up is quick. Most functions are covered by the basic set up and you can go in to customize things the way you want with regards to functions and button presses. It works well and is highly recommended if you are dealing with multiple devices and multiple remotes. You will be wondering why you did not get this harmony sooner once you have it all set up and you hardly ever have to touch all those remotes sitting on your coffee table.

Great multi-function remote. It does get out of sync on occasion but it is fairly simple to resolve. Easy programing via logitech app and the look and feel of remote is perfect. Plenty of buttons / options without it feeling too crowded. Battery life is excellent and is compatible with everything I throw at it.

Ill start by saying this remote works amazingly! Its exactly what was needed for my TV, cable box, and sound system. This remote has a lot of features that are pretty cool like programming multiple functions to a single button. What I don't like is that it doesn't have a button for rewinding 10 seconds at a time like my cable remote does. Its a super small thing but it would be nice to have.
