Great multi-function remote. It does get out of sync on occasion but it is fairly simple to resolve. Easy programing via logitech app and the look and feel of remote is perfect. Plenty of buttons / options without it feeling too crowded. Battery life is excellent and is compatible with everything I throw at it.

I bought this remote because my first remote started having problems. I searched the internet and this model was still top on the list. It only works with infrared not Bluetooth or internet. So the Fire Stick, Alexa and Roku will not work. I have been using it every day with no problem and I have all my home theater devices connected, even my fan. I am sad that Logitech decided not to continue the line. For now I am in good shape but will have to see what is available when this one fails.

Can't find a way to quickly return to favorite selections. Even the power off button sometimes needs me to visit each device to turn them off. I had it set up by techs who were familiar with Harmony devices, and I have not tried to modify things yet. I got an email from a logitech expert who offered to help, but after I emailed him there has been no response in a week. Don't get this unless you are an OCD nerd.

Except for the fact that we use a Roku Streaming Stick, it is great. Same thing for certain Visio TVs which do not respond to any remote input for 15 seconds after being turned on. Other than that it is very comprehensive in device coverage and simple operation once you get it programmed. A good tool to clean up your pile of remotes unless you use the Streaming Stick or Visio TV.

The 665 model feels more solid than previous models. The usb cable is a very tight fit, using micro usb on the harmony end. Be careful when inserting into a phone.... Programing activities and devices is easy. I have grown accustomed to being able to define a custom menu item or button to issue specific commands, such as a passcode that protect my kids from unknow shows (TiVo/suddenlink related). I find these remotes last maybe 5-6 years. Then, after probably 200 drops, they start to fail. Very satisfied. BTW, they really go on sale during black Friday.

This remote is the answer to many techno wishes. Individual buttons for each component(cable, Roku, DVD, etc.) and for any other devices used for those components, in my case soundbar for all and cable box when watching cable. The remote does not provide full functionality for Roku but that is fine with me. I would suggest that if you are not tech savvy, having Geek Squad set it up.

Laid out in an orderly manner in which using iris simple. I like it better than my previous universal remote that had many Moore additional features and functions, most of which that I did not use mat least very often. This is a quite basic remote that gets the same results in an easier and less expensive way.

This worked well for basic operation of the Samsung Q9f TV since the original Samsung TV remote malfunctioned after just 7 months of use. A cool feature is the ability to add fav channels and access them directly. Easy to grab due to a thoughtful shape of the remote. Need some user knowledge to program a few keys on the remote using the PC app.

We have been using Harmony remotes for a long time and would hate to be without them. When we heard that they were not going to be manufactured any more (but will still be supported), we purchased two of these. You program the remote online by connecting it to a PC and then selecting your devices from menus and decide on the functions you need. A little complex at first but once you get the hang of it everything becomes natural and you can revise your remote at any time. It's the only way to go!

It’s difficult to set up. After a while it becomes easier to use. It’s like a crash course, and took some YouTube research.

Best remote control sold. Sad to see they are no longer manufactured. Have used Harmondy remotes for 20+ years. There isn't an audio or video device made that they can't control. Push one button and my Dish Network, Denon AV, Samsung TV all spring to life. When I saw they were to longer being made I just had to buy another one to keep around in case one my other two dies some day.

    Harmony remotes make it easy

I have used Logitech Harmony remotes for years so that my technologically inept significant other can use our entertainment system. Programming this remote is incredibly easy - but you need to have internet access. You select the pieces of equipment that are hooked up together, including what inputs are being used in the software, hook up the remote to your computer and sync the remote. Then the remote can be used alone to select activities like Watch TV, Watch a DVD, Listen to music.... and put the other remotes away.

A must have device to clean up the clutter of remotes in the living room/entertainment room. It is a little complicated to program on your computer but when programmed, most of the controls from the original remote due function on this remote. Only one device it didn't function properly was a non-brand android box that I have. Other than that it works very well.

Ok, so I bought this remote to replace the one before it, the 650. This is the absolute truth, when the 650 stopped working after 5 years, I had to pull out all of the remotes for the devices I had programmed the 650 to control. I didn't know how to do some of the switching (HDMI, video bypass for 3d and so on) with the native remotes. I ran out and bought the 665 in a few days and plugged it into my computer and downloaded the programming that I painstakingly put together years ago. I'm happy again.

This remote served its purpose well in the short time that I owned it. I did not realize that it was based on infrared recognition and not all of the boxes that I was trying to use it for are visible from the angle that I was using the remote. I ended up returning the remote because it did not meet my specific use case.

I've owned a number of universal remotes over the years - including several Logitech models - and this by far is the best of the bunch, especially at this price point. Set up was a breeze and it recognized four pieces of my media equipment immediately including my TCL smart TV, a sound bar, an older Blu-Ray DVD player, and astonishingly a 30+ year old Panasonic boom box! No more juggling three remotes to start my morning workout DVD! Exactly what I needed and I'm seriously considering buying another for living room entertainment area as well.

Pros: Easy set up via PC, works with all my equipment, can pre-set activation of multiple devices and settings with sinlge button Cons: Will occasionally lose link with some equipment, though quickly reestablished via help button, short battery life probably due to LCD screen, some input options not automatic and must be set manually (picture mode for tv for example)

I found the remote to be quite an excellent replacement for multiple remotes for larger A/V setups. I have it setup for the TV, Cable, A/V speakers, and blue ray player. It takes some time to setup the remote but once setup, it runs like a pro.

Harmony isn't prepared for the Roku TVs. This makes for extra button pushing on the Harmony, but overall not too onerous,

We had an LG Smart remote with a pointer that was chewed up by our dog and didn't want to spend the $100+ to replace the exact remote and wait for shipping. This remote was able to replicate all features we use on our smart tv including pulling up the smart menu so we're definitely happy with our purchase and the in store availability we found at Best Buy!
