I have used the 650 personally and programmed several for customers. The 665 is just as solid and easy to use with 1 button activity and an intuitive layout that literally ANYONE can become comfortable using. If programmed correctly, this remote can operate a simple TV cable box system all the way to an elaborate home theater set up. The only downside to this remote is that it does require line of sight operation but an Ir extender can be implemented to accommodate control of hidden components.

It took a while to get it programmed correctly, but after a couple of tries, I got it to work to control all my TV devices. I did not like the plastic packaging. It took a while to wrestle with it and avoid plastic cuts, to get it out of its sealed plastic packaging. I usually avoid products with such packaging.

This remote was pretty easy to program, but the using buttons and controls need some work. Some of the displays on the screen or miss directing and Waking it up actually make that use one of the feature button do you press to wake it up.

I have a complkeye home entertainment system, receiver, DVD Apple tv, cable and computer connection. Everything is programmed on this remote, every function of each remote is there at each mode, easy to ptogram, easy to make changes, my only issue, the 700 unit this rdpkaced had rechargable batteries, this one doesn't.

The remote was fairly easy to set up. Controls my DVR, DVD player, tv and sound bar. Has nice help feature if one of the devices is out of sync. Main problem is that the buttons are too small and hard to type in channels without a mistake or missed input. Record button is too close to number so accidentally start recording a show.

Works well. Easy set up. One or two buttons won’t seem to program correctly where I want them. Still works well.

This was a smart decision, I was able to tame the clutter of remotes down to this one smart remote, works like a champ and was easy to program. I really like the multifunction learning option where you can set up multiple things with the touch of one button, such as when you select the movie option. The remote turns on the TV ,switches the input to the DVD option, turns on the DVD player. This remote has simplified life and the price was right.

Not always user friendly to set up when trying to replicate all of the functions of the original remote devices. Once it’s set up it’s simple to operate all components and functions from this one remote that replaces the multiple remotes necessary to operate all components of a home theater system.

I have used logitech harmony remotes for years (all different types) and I have found the the 665/660/700 or whatever the current model at the time is the best and far superior to the more expensive models that use the hub. My only beef is that after numerous programming (I change my electronics often), the port to connect always loosens and the remote only lasts about two-three years and has to be replaced. Of course, for people who do not change their electronics as I do, should not have this issue.

After several years juggling multiple remotes, I was reluctant to switch. I knew the pathways to each device, even if some of them were labyrinthine. When one finally broke, I decided to make the leap, and this was the perfect remote to do so. Setup was quick and easy, with online programming tools friendly to even a tech-wary luddite like me. The display screen is a gentle guide, and plain to see even watching in the dark. Highly recommended — save yourself the space and the batteries you might be using juggling numerous controls.

This is my favorite brand of universal remotes. I have one in each bedroom. When one stopped working after years of use, I bought another one. They are easy to set up and easy to use. The only problem I had was that the current remote I bought was it was not compatible with the the current Apple iMac iOS Catalina so I called Apple to find out how to go to the previous iOS. Then I programmed the new remote. No problem at all. I highly recommend. Ask the Geek Squad about this Catalina iOS when you buy this remote.

It was easy to set up and use. Operates all the home theater pieces well. When there is a glitch that a reboot of the home theater wouldn't fix, there is a help button that you press while you are having your problem and it resolves the issue for you and asks for feedback during the process. Highly recommended so that you don't have too many remotes. The only thing you have to remember is to keep the remote pointed at the the home theater pieces until it is done working. It seems to communicate with each device in a serial manner.

We upgraded from a Harmony 650 to this 665 and are vary happy with this remote. It may not have all the fancy bells and whistles that more expensive models have, but it has an amazing amount of features for it's price point. The customization in Logitech's Harmony software can be a bit tricky, but once you have it set using it is a breeze.

We bought a Furrion Outdoor, full shade TV for our new patio. DirectTV does not have the connections to this brand yet since it is so new. The only way we could get around using 4 remotes for audio and visual was to use the Logitech Harmony. We have used them in the past and they always fix our issues!

Love the fact that you can push one button to turn on everything you use for your system. You can also control each device individually. Would have given it a 5 but if you turn one of the devices off with another controller it gets out of sync. You have to turn it off with the Harmony before it will turn it back on.

This remote is just an upgrade of the Harmony 650 which just died on us after about 4 years of use. It definitely simplifies using our TV, Blu-ray, surround sound system, and Nintendo. You just push one button for what you want to do and the remote takes care of turning on/off everything and switching inputs.

I am very pleased with this device. I bought it to replace an older model that had a few worn out buttons (6 years or more). I love the black color of the body. Nearly all my settings transferred over to the new remote, which was a BIG surprise. The ability to add new devices over the years makes this the best remote product series on the market. I like this one most of all. I've even tried the Harmony One Ultimate, and I still like this much better. A smaller remote would be nice, but the Harmony One Ultimate had other issues. I'm very satisfied with this one.

I bought this because of its form factor and button layout being similar to my Harmony One that died. My first impression was how cheap it feels in my hand. The rubber buttons exude cost-cutting from Logitech. The buttons are also smaller than the One particularly the arrow cluster with OK in the middle. The LCD screen is bright and easy to read and operate via the adjacent buttons. I dislike the fact that you cannot arrange the actions appearance order in this screen. If you want to rearrange the activities you need to delete them all then enter them in the order you want them to appear! SERIOUSLY! The buttons are back lighted but only the buttons below the LCD screen. The backlighting is horribly dim and near useless. The buttons above the LCD are no lit at all. I suppose coming from a better product has jaded me somewhat, but I would say that for the price it’s a good buy.

My grandson loves this remote. It runs his TV, his Smart DVD player, and his Xbox One S. It allowed him to get rid of his two remotes and now he has a more streamlined experience when watching TV, Movies, or wants to fire up the Xbox to play a game. He doesn't get much down time from the station, so being able to hit a button he pre-programmed and have his entertainment center fire up to what he wants on the first go is a huge plus in the "cool factor" to quote his view.

Works as advertised. Very fast to sync with all devices, including my WDTV media player, which I did not expect to be able to sync. This remote really does eliminate all the other remotes you have. Only downside is it can be a pain swapping between devices with the remote menu. Also, notice a little delay with remote response to the devices.
