Not quite as good as the Elite remote but much easier on battery life. The Elite I had to charge just about every day. This remote is easy on battery life. Two months in and the batteries are still fine. It's a shame they decided to quit making these remotes. :(

Concept is great but it doesn’t always work. I synced my Samsung Q TV Samsung surround sound bar and cable box. You press the watch tv button and most of the time one of them does not turn on. There is a hell button so it’s learning as you can tell it what didn’t turn on. After you press help then everything comes on. Why?

I have owned a number a harmony remotes and they are very easy to setup. I love the convenience of hitting one button and all of the settings are as they should be. The only issue I’ve had in the past is some of the buttons will stop working after a while. For the money you can’t beat it. Never watch TV without it.

I purchased the remote for my Office, so that I could use one remote for my TV and sound bar. Programming the remote was so easy that I created to 3 separate Activities, one for the Office, a second for the Kitchen, and a third for the bedroom. Now I am able to use one remote for all 3 rooms. After programming, I noticed that the previous channel button did not work on 2 TV’s. Programming the button using the manufacturer remote was simple. The backlit buttons work great when the room is dark.

I was not looking to spend an arm and a leg to replace an older Harmony remote that I use for my gaming consoles, receiver, TV, etc. The older remote had a charger that was no longer working. This remote seemed ideal as it took regular batteries and was relatively inexpensive. Once connected to my computer, it simply asked me if I wanted to transfer the settings from the older remote and I was good to go. Works great and has a lighted keypad that turns on if the room is darker.

Relatively easy to use serviceable remote. Need to regularly update functions on the remote, and switching through different activities can be awkward. Biggest nit is that the remote must be pointed directly at the device to be recognized - there is no leeway. Not sure anything out there is better at this price.

Got this to replace Spectrum's horrible remote, and it is quite a bit better. Sometimes it doesn't want to turn on the cable box, and it lacks a few of the features I use. But it does a much better job on DVR functions such as fast forward and pause.

I was able to set up this remote rather quickly once I downloaded and installed the Harmony software. The remote controls almost everything: the TV, the audio receiver, and the satellite receiver. The one device it does not control is the PS3, but it is my understanding that an add-on can be purchased to allow the remote to control it.

The remote gives a lot of programming options including preset channels to choose from. The activities are great since they have a start-up procedure to them. If the signal does not get sent or received properly, then the remote is not the most user friendly to select a device and choose an action. Once you figure it out, it's a very good remote.

If you have multiple remotes, this is a must have... Open the packaging, pop in the batteries, log onto the web site and program. DONE, ready to use. It's that easy 15-20 minutes and you are using just ONE Remote! I have a complete surround sound system, Fios, Samsung TV, and two different video game consoles. The 665 will turn on the needed devices and input their settings with the touch of a single button and operates the correct function on the appropriate device for that function. I only wish I found this thing sooner.

The Logitech Harmony 665 Universal Remote will be useful in operating most of your devices. Large in size with a LCD screen that is helpful, the user will be able to see the devices being controlled in the display and more. Initial download takes time and some preparation.

I can now press one button for "local TV", one for "Netflix" and one for music. The Harmony gives all devices appropriate instructions for each task button. The instructions are established by a programming process guided by an internet based application. The application references a data base that "knows" the commands for over 200,000 devices. I have a 13 year old TV and audio receiver. Both of their command sets were on file. After following the straight forward programming process, the Harmony 665 worked perfectly.

This was a replacement to a previous model. These work well to control several devices ( TV, sound system, DVR, and DVD player) with one remote instead of 4 or 5. The only issue is not with the remote but with the directions to set it up. I did figure it out but took a little time to set up properly

Powerful system, highly customizable but requires quite a bit of customization to make it easily useable for a non-tech person. Plenty of features and truly great customer support. Was having an issue with control of my Yamaha audio system and they fixed it in less than a minute.

This is the second one of these I have bought. The first one worked so well for my main home theater that I bought another for the smaller setup in my bedroom. The online setup works very well and the number of supported devices is unbelievable. Even my Epson projector! I also appreciate the backlit buttons, although I don't know why the main "activity" buttons at the top are not backlit. I have used other universal remotes. This is the best of them. And the price is very reasonable.

So this item was purchased for our living room to use our google mini and be able to turn on/off items. It’s a bit difficult to set up because we would program one “activity” and then another activity would let work as previously programmed. As of right now the only thing it won’t do is turn off the tv. The ps4, receiver and satellite box all work thoigh

The only reasons I didn’t give a five star rating are: the lettering printed on the remote is barely readable because of the color, and there is a lag before the remote is ready to use. Otherwise, the online setup is pretty simple. I even had an issue with the keypad programmed for an LG tv; Logitech corrected it in a couple days.

The Logitech 66510 has been a great remote. Setup through a PC. Backlight and light screen make it easy too find in the dark. Controls all of my devices and the help button adds to the functionality. Battery range is okay but I suggest you get the newer model if you want a rechargable battery. This remote takes 2 AA batteries.

Bought this to control Samsung TV , Denon Receiver Verizon FIOS and Nintendo Switc Able to control all of them create activities some what slow have to point to devices else it will miss one of the device in activity after using for a while i figured nuances happy with remote good price best buy service rep was awesome

Excellent control for my main home a/v system and other rooms with a tv/proivder box/dvd player setup. Easy to use online setup and customization of each need, especially when adding or replacing a component of the a/v gear. Have been using these for many years, only having to replace because we use them so much and a button will eventually wear out. But, the time it takes for a button to wear out is many years down the road so the amount of use you get for the price is well worth it.
