Slight learning curve
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second one. The first one was a different color. The first one quit work on one of the main function buttons after about 2 years. It might of been because something or one to many things got spilled on it. So far the second one is working as designed. These remotes have maybe more of a learning curve than some more expensive options, but hey you get what you pay for right? I only control a few devices so it’s perfect for me and the price is right.

Small learning curve
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not as easy to program as I expected. But once you get it working it is a great tool especially if you are trying to help someone tech challenged who has trouble using a TV with multiple remotes like for the media player or streaming device.

Great remote, easy to program
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We lived with a malfunctioning earlier version of this remote (the power button stopped working intermittently) for years because somebody programmed it for us and we didn't think we could program a new one. We finally broke down and bought this remote. Once I actually found the model numbers of all our equipment, it was ridiculously easy to program. And I am, obviously, not a techie-type person. This works great!

Great remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For some reason LG has decided to have a nice TV but not the remote. I needed a lit remote for night use. I researched the remote and decided to try it. Well worth the purchase. However, you just cannot cut open the packaging and start using it. It does take less time to program it versus looking up the codes for a more traditional remote. It works with my LG TV, the Yamaha sound bar and my Samsung TV. The only thing I do not like about the remote is that it will not control my living room fan. Give me time.

Not rechargeable...
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the remote to replace my older, water damaged Harmony. I didn't notice until I had it all setup and working that this one, although it appears identical, does not use rechargeable batteries. I tried and there is no charging ability built in. I guess a manufacturing cost cutting decision.

A great remote to replace up to 10 others with one
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great smart remote that was easy to setup and use. In my system, it replaced 6 remotes that we had been using, including the Verizon Fios remote itself. While it did take a few times using it before I appreciated that you need to keep pointing the remote at the devices until they are ALL functioning when you switch modes, once I learned that, I've been fully delighted with the experience using this remote on my systems.

Very useful remote
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using a Harmony Universal remote for many years though I had the 650 model prior to this, This 655 is slightly slimmer and feels more solid. I was able to transfer most functions from the old remote to this although any special button assignments and the functions on the screen display had to be done individually. I am a great fan of these remotes and have many sequences programmed that I use all the time.

Great Universal Remote!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Remote replaces the many remotes I had for entertainment. Codes are downloaded with an included cable from the net using product manufacturer and model #s. A computer is required - but much easier than looking up and inputting codes. The remote works great with similar commands to OEM. Color lcd display is nice and remote allows you to program up to 23 favorite channels with corresponding logo - which makes channel surfing easy!

Logitech for the win
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After 4 years of owning the Harmony Hub, certain buttons on the remote started to fail. This Harmony 665 works perfect. I just logged into my Logitech harmony account and copied over the settings from my Harmony Hub over to the Harmony 665. Flawless. The only negative thing is that their products don't last that long, however Logitech have perfected the universal remote and I couldn't be happier.

Decent remote for the price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price you can't beat this remote. It does most functions competently. But the off switch is awkward and there is no way yet to go directly to some streaming applications. (Or I just haven't figured out how to do it!) There are better remotes but they are in a much higher price range.

This is a great multi-device IR remote.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great multi-device IR remote. Using the desktop app or the IR learning function you can add most devices. It works and it works well. But, this is my second one after just one year. It works so well, I did buy another.

One remote for a number of devices!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a replacement for the one we have used for a number of years! The original one still works ok, but I have a back up when the original one bites the dust! Easy to program and easy to use. One remote for several devices! All the better.

Has everything I need, and it's backlit
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a backlit remote because we watch TV in the dark and fumbling for the correct button means you just turned the TV off by accident. :) I didn't need a fully programmable remote, but this one is anyway. I like that when you pick it up the backlight comes on and then it goes off again after you put it down. With all the video/audio equipment it's nice to have one remote for them all, and it's nice to be able to see the buttons in the dark.

One for the in-laws
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As the title states, this was a gift for the in-laws so they can use all of their stuff without having 10 different remotes. I actually have one as well as a Harmony Ultimate and love 'em both. I have yet to find one device it doesn't work with. One small issue is that the programming tool doesn't come with dropdowns to help with the choices, so lots of searching for model numbers ensued. Aside from that it was set up in 5 mins and they (and I ) really enjoy having only ONE remote to rule them all.

Controls all with 1 Remote!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Programs through online app and process is simple to follow - just be prepared with which devices are connected to which inputs on your tv and home theater components. You need it to program. 4 stars only because there are so many buttons on this remote, it can get hard to use in a dark room.

Great Remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a Sony 4K TV, a Sony sound bar, Apple TV, and Roku. Four remotes down to one. The remote connects to a laptop or computer using a supplied cable on a USB port. Add each device, answer some questions about which HDMI port is used for each, assign the Watch TV button, Listen to Music button and a couple of others and then use Sync to set up the remote. Support is excellent. I had to use their help to program one button to cycle through the options for sound: (Voice, 3D surround, movies, music, etc.)

Still Great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to replace the same model (but silver) that I probably had for about 10 years. I loved it so much that I bought it again. It’s a little cumbersome with setup but after that it’s flawless. My other one died because of battery corrosion not because of product failure.

Good Remote
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love most of the features on this remote. However, if your systems are in a cabinet, this is not the device for you. It has to have a direct line of sight to your various systems. That's a big drawback. Otherwise, I like the functions on this remote.

Some good - some bad
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second Harmony remote. First one lasted about 2 years, then the number buttons didn't respond all the time. This new one is better for that but being that it is infrared (not RF) some of the devices still seem slow to respond. Activities is a nice feature to switch between devices for watching TV and then switching to Apple TV or to DVD. But I've had issues switching to the different activities if everything is off and I want to start with a different activity than what it was shut off from. Mostly it's the TV input doesn't change. But if everything is on and I switch activities then everything switches fine and good. Spent many hours trying to resolve and it could still be operator error but I'm pretty techie. Overall it is better than having to search for all of the device remotes. I haven't tried the RF Harmony's.

Almost what I was expecting
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had Harmony TV remotes for years. It was time I bought a new one for my Samsung 58" flat screen that had the worst remote I have ever used. Once I got to Harmony's online site, I was lost until I called Customer Service. With what I perceived as poor instructions she helped me through programming what Harmony was asking for. The remote was quite easy to program as long as I had the name and model number of the item to be controlled. The bigger problem is that some of the features didn't work. Now I have to get back to C.S. and find out how to program those features in.
