Excellent - Just Be Ready To Program It

Programming it is tough but once you have it's very convenient. I have an Xfinity Flex box and the remote to my surprise connected with it. Like anything in life, if you take the time to program it it will become a handy remote. I put ease of use at a 3 because I have to program it more so my family can use it easily otherwise they get lost.

Where has this remote been the past 20 years? I have all this fancy home theater stuff in different rooms. It all claims to have universal remotes and HDMI controls that can sync all components into one. It is all a bunch of bologna I tell you. However, this little gem is a life saver. Cheap, easy to set up, and does it all. Best of all, every button lights up when you pick it up. Love it!

    Too much software!

What can you say? Everything worked was very easy to set up. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5? You must make an account and download 35MB of a program just to set it up! There must be a better way!

Universal remotes have come a long way. You plug this into your computer and program it. Very easy set-up. Unfortunately, it’s very finicky, and if all of your devices aren’t on the right on/off setting, the Activities feature doesn’t always work as intended.

We bought a new tv and bought this remote. We had the guy come cause to program it or it might have made us nuts. It’s pretty self explanatory bUt say the tv came on and not the cable the little screen on the remote tells you what to do.

Great remote and it operates so much faster than my old Harmony One or the one supplied with my cable box. I only wish the button text was more legible. The remote takes two AA and has a wide dispersion range. In order to program the remote you will need a PC to program the buttons and favorites.

Still the best option for a universal remote. I have used these for years and the programming moves nicely to each new remote. I have to replace these every few years because the buttons for volume stop working from frequent use.

The Harmony 665 is a good, affordable universal remote. The interface is pretty easy to use, and set up is also easy enough though it requires a PC and software. I've only had one minor hiccup with the remote forgetting its settings and needing to be reloaded.

Not sure on these. We’re programmed with the software to function my equipment. Works well overall, but tends to turn off devices already on when programmed not to, specifically, my sound bar.

This remote replaced 4 separate remotes in out HT setup. I was able to replace AVR, STB, TV and Apple TV remotes. Setup was not too complex as it read the manufacturer codes. It is a little bulky compared to Harmony Elite but also less pricey.

Setup was a bit bulky and navigation is not the smoothest. The unit only works with a single button on/off occasionally. Have to hit the help button consistently for the remote to fix the issue and either turn on or off the units correctly.

Nice easy to use and program universal remote. Setting it up online couldn't be more easy. A replacement for the 700 remote. Two differences the 700 was for 8 devices the 665 can control up to 10 devices. The 700 came with recharge left batteries and the 665 does not. The 700 had a bit better fit and finish and overall feel but for the price and functionality you can't go wrong with this remote.

This is my second remote of this all in one. After programming I still have to press help to get it set up everything right when I turn it off or on. Still better than 3 different remotes to do the same thing

Replaced a same model remote that the kids dropped 100 too many times. Easy to program back to my settings from the old unit. Just wish it wouldnt go back through the help menu every time they drop it. Would definitely buy again.

I love the Logitech Harmony remotes. This is the 5th one I have owned over the years. This remote is so simple to set up since, once you have logged onto the Harmony website, you plug in the remote and choose what TV, DVR, DVD, etc you have and let the Harmony system do it's work and set up everything for you. All I have to do is check that everything works after it is set up.

Does what it is supposed to do, reliably, and takes the place of several remotes. Things I would slightly ding it on are the poor backlighting of most of the remote, which makes it difficult to select the right keys at night, and the use of a disposable battery.

The one plus is still going strong, but needed another universal. Considered the elite, but I just needed to switch between activities, change channels on the X1, and control the volume. The only thing that I switch it could handle is the PS4. Otherwise, it works and its only $50 bucks.

Bought this remote for my bedroom tv to control my soundbar, tv and directtv. It works great and it was simple to setup with the Harmony software. Just add my model numbers of each device and sync. Very happy with my purchase of this product.

I had to update my Harmony 600 remote due to the buttons literally wearing out after 3 years of heavy use. The new 650 was easy to program and looks like a quality product. I expect to enjoy another 3+ years of use.

    Functional remote

I had to buy this remote because my LG remote for the TV did not control the volume of my Sonos Playbar. The remote was pretty easy to set up but takes some time to get used to using when switching between streaming services. The only item that did not work correctly on the initial set up was controlling our fireplace as we did not plan on setting that up but the remote still turns it off and on when turning the tv on and off.
