Its a good universal remote. I have connected my optoma projector and yamaha receiver with it. They are working fine. My elite projector screen and amazon fire stick couldn’t be connected with this remote.

We have an older version of this device. I copied the settings from the older version to the newer one using the web-based software and was unable to get the device to automatically turn on the sound device which the older unit has always turned on.

This is the first time I’ve had a remote like this. If there was a drawback, it would be you have program it online. The devices I have connected are: tv, dvd, sound bar and firestick. It’s great to have so many ways to connect. I personally like the help mode. I look forward to exploring everything it can or not do.

Kinda confusing. But it may be because I’m using the info from my Logitech harmony which no longer works. I’ll figure it out. It is more than capable of handling all of my needs.

Really good universal remote. I've had 4 1 600, 2 700, now the 650. The remote has taken the replacement of three different remotes with very little programming on the computer. Only con would be you have to be smarter the the program to use it.

    Harmony 665 Remote

I bought this Logitech Harmony 665 remote as a back-up since Logitech is no longer making the Harmony remotes. So, I haven't used this particular remote as yet, but my original 665 works well most of the time. It occasionally gets a little glitchy but works well 99% of the time. Too bad Logitech is not producing these anymore.

This remote does what it sets out to do. Was easy to setup and carry over my settings from my old harmony remote. I recommend this remote if you are in need of an all-in-one remote

The setup was pretty simple, you look up the make and model of your devices and then input them on your computer, plug the remote in via usb cable and then sync it then you can press a single button to turn on the blu ray player, or Apple TV, or whatever you have and it turns on the AV receiver, tv, device, whatever you programmed it to do. Very cool technology.

We have had 5 different harmony remotes over the years. I like these simple ones with more buttons and less screen. I didn't realize that this one was AA battery powered until after I got it home, as our other ones are all rechargeable, so I don't know how long the batteries will last yet. I got it to replace one of my other ones that I was recharging almost daily, so it's been an upgrade.

Set up was a little cumbersome and it sometime starts a help tutorial own its own which you can't seem to exit without going all the way through it. It works as advertised and had programming for some obscure pieces of equipment.

    Another Great Harmony

My Harmony One was getting pretty worn out and the battery was swelling to the point I couldn't swap it. This remote is nearly as good at 1/5 the cost of the One when I got it. The buttons are a bit spongy compared to the one but it works great. It eats batteries fast so get some rechargeables you can cycle through. I also like the button layout of this remote way better than the more expensive current offerings by Harmony.

Having to find then juggle four remotes is ridiculous. This device is easily programmed for TV, cable/DVR, DVD/Blu Ray, Surround Sound Receivers for basic functions like on off, volume, channel and movie play back. I have not tried to program other functions.

Easy to setup and program, Just download the devices you will be using the remote for and the website or app steps you thru the process. Caution this remote is for devices that use IR only to control your devices. they cannot be in cabinets. The remote has to see the controlled devices to work.

I've had a few of these before that just had the buttons completely wear out so I got a new one. I just need something to control the A/V, not the lights or anything else in the house, and this fits the bill. Easy enough for me to program it using the software at this point. My only wish is that it had one more activity button, but that's not that big of a deal.

This is my 4th Logitech remote. I have 3 for the downstairs TVs and one for the upstairs TV. All were easy to program and set up. Some tweaking maybe required with the timings of turning things on but once that is done the systems respond great

Love that you can get all your devices from one remote. Setup an account at harmony and find each device by the model number. You can setup routines to turn on what you want for any activity. I have a few of these throughout the house. Gave one to elderly parents so with one button, they can watch a movie and when done push another button to return to TV.
