I wish there were better remotes accessible to consumers without paying a high dollar for them. I bought this to replace a broken Harmony Elite. I did not want to spend $300 on another remote. This works but the form factor is less than desirable. Too slippery and not very comfortable to use. I know first world problem, but when this is your main device to power up things, would be nice to have something that not only works but feels good to hold. Programming it was easy since I had the Elite, I just transferred the activities and devices.

The only drawback is setup. I did though work with a logitech representative that went way beyond the pale to help me, and I am thoroughly grateful. I had given up.. he was not going to!!!!

Once again Logitech has built an easy-to-use product that "Does The Job." Bought this to replace a several generations old Logitech programmable remote that was starting to eat batteries every week or so. Took a bit to find my old passwords but, once dug out, was able to load the devices and customizations into the new remote and everything worked.

This remote runs off 2 AA batteries. It will give a “low battery” message. It takes a little while to learn how all the buttons work. Setup took a little time. I couldnt get it to operate on movie setup. I had to use my other remote to view dvds. But I like the fact the remote does not sit in a base. You can leave it on a chair or table. Great price!

I picked this up because the remote that came with my TV didn't work with some of my cable box remotes options. I did some reading and watched a few YouTube video's and this remote seemed like an easy choice. It has a cool little LCD screen and the buttons can be configured to your licking threw a lap top or PC.

Spent a little more than I wanted to on this remote but it was totally worth it! Walks you through the setup, with batteries and USB cable provided. It even controls my ViewTV box which I couldn't find manual codes for. Highly recommend to anyone looking to replace a bunch of device remotes into one sleek and easy to use universal remote.

After 9 1/2 years, the dog chewing on it, dropped kicked a few times it was time to order another. So pleased that I found this newer model of the universal remote that makes viewing streaming from my DVD player or watching tv a breeze. So easy to use my 89-year-old mother can navigate the buttons.

Perfect remote that also worked with Apple TV as a bonus. Easy to set up via mac and then it just works. Fells good and solid to use - was surprised it also pairs with the apple tv - v good. I use it to control: Panasonic TV, Pioneer Receiver, LG 4k Bluray, XFinity box & Apple TV.

A little more difficult to set up. Had to use phone help twice. Like it, because it's buttons are set up close to my 15 year old harmony that served us well. Buttons were getting iffy.

Good remote. Don't have to have anymore remotes laying around. Only one button turns on three or four things at once. The only drawback for me is it does not have drivers for a Linux system.

This remote saves me from switching from one remote to the other as all my electronics for the TV are complementary they were purchased in different years not making them necessarily compatible with each other. My Logitech Harmony remote is a smooth transition between the units. I don’t know how I ever lived without it.

The remote is great when it works as programmed. It is very temperamental if someone pushes the wrong buttons but easy to get back on tracks. Simple tu use once you understand setup.

initial set up had a few bugs. However Logitech Customer Service was great and got us working perfectly. Went from 7 remotes to 1, should have bought this years ago!!! For what you get, price is excellent and worth every penny!!

We love the Logitech - Harmony Universal remote! This remote was very easy to connect all of our Audio Visual components to one remote. With the easy to follow along with instructions, we were able to connect our flat-screen television, cable box, DVD and smart tv apps such as Netflix all together in one slimline easy to hold and operate Remote!

Bought this to operate my home theater. My only wish is that this remote worked with my FireTV. Operates with all other devices without any problems (even old ones like a VCR) and I love that I can customize it in almost any way. Not a huge fan of this device. First, and foremost is the syncing to a computer. That is the worst, clunkiest, least user friendly piece of software i’ve seen. On the Mac, it simply refuses to sync at all. Software say, it will sync when connected. Well, it’s connected. Remote says so, Mac says so….nope. On Windows Pc its much the same. However, if you unplug and plug it back in 89.276 times, eventually it did sync. For the money spent, I’d say take a hard pass.

Does what it is supposed to, with one caveat. The "assistant" function constantly comes one, even when it's not needed. If you try to use the remote with the helper on it doesn't work and often will become confused so that you have to turn everything off and start over. Once we figured that out, to watch for the assistant and turn it off, then it works fine. Too much trouble to try a different brand and have to reset everything. At least this one we know how to make this one work using the workaround.

We needed to upgrade our Logi remote control to handle a new TV/WiFi service. It was a reasonable expense. Luckily our new Logi remote works in a similar manner to the earlier model and has some shortcuts. This new remote works with batteries. The older model was rechargeable. My sense is the battery model will be less expensive to operate over the long term.

This is supposed to be a “universal remote”. The Geek Squad had to come out and program it. For the most part it works very well... there is a learning curve with it though!

We had a much more expensive model Logitech for years. it finally broke and we couldn't afford that model this time around. So we got this one and its very good. Hard to compare to the touchscreen model but for this price point it is excellent. Easy to program with the Harmony app. Easy to program with the Harmony app.
