Very good, easy to program
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very good remote, simple to program with the on line assist. It even works well with Apple TV. I have xfinity x-1 box, Apple TV, Xbox 360, Panasonic tuner and Panasonic TV all connected and it was simple and they all work right.... Logitech is king of the remotes.... Now it's just one remote on the arm of the recliner, simple ,

Solid item - greatly reduces amount of remotes
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an nice remote. I use my home theater and it took the amount of remotes I had from 5 to 1 which was great. Pro's - it was very easy to set up, unit being back-lit and lighting up with motion is great. The buttons are very responsive Con's - it took several hours to charge out of the box, the "Watch a Movie" & "Watch TV" buttons are not back-lit, minor quibble = there is no "shortcut" key to use with Xfinity but you can navigate to the extra features by using the "Menu" key. Overall, a good remote but not great.

A Great Remote For MOST Applications
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using Harmony remotes for over 15 years going back to the silver one you had to program - my how things have changed. I've used the 880 (the buttons fail over time), the Harmony ONE (which I have and still LOVE) and now this unit. I love this remote. For the price you can't beat it. It does have a backlight so you can see the buttons in the dark. I use one in my living room and one in my spare bedroom since I only have the TV, sound bar and TiVo Mini to control and this remote does it with ease. The old silver one I mentioned was for tech lovers only - the remotes since then are 100% WAF. They are easy to program on-line and once set up easy to control what you need. Yes, I have had to program certain 'custom' buttons for the remote but again, very easy. So why I state "MOST" in my title? - it only covers 8 devices which for most people is enough (TV, cable box, AVR, Video Console, and BD player) with 5 devices however for the more home theater person (like me) you might have a projector, HDVDVD player, BD player, XBOX, PS3/4, Wii, AVR, Lights, Media player (like a Popcorn Hour/Kaleidoscope), Media stick/box (Firestick, etc) which exceeds what this remote can do.

Good replacement remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this remote to replace my Pioneer Elite Receiver remote that I misplaced for $59 on black Friday 2014. This is quite a bargain consider that it is an universal remote that can control up to 8 devices. The whole programming process took about 45 minutes which entailed hooking up the remote to the laptop and input the devices (name and model#). The remote control my Pioneer receiver, Panasonic BD player, amazon fire receiver and my Epson projector. The remote works flawlessly with all the devices.

A great remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The last time I purchased an all in 1 remote must have been 20 years ago. still have it in fact. a big old square brick from Radio Shack. I have to say Harmony has it right with this one. setup via the web for all my devices even the hdmi switcher could not have been any simpler. works a treat. The only downside and its not its fault is the roku that needs line of sight. I had planned on mounting it to the back of the TV but its a small price to pay. get one now!!!

Great remote.. has real nice features
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My Logitech Harmony 700 remote was easy to configure using the web based app. Overall, a user friendly device. Good solid feel and well balanced in the hand. The illuminated keypad is a must have and the display has good resolution as well as functionality. With the included rechargeable batteries, charger and cable, it was well worth the sale price. If you are considering a multi function remote, Logitech is a company that makes a variety of quality peripheral (PC and multi media) devices. Go for it!

So far, I love it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I decided to get a universal remote, I first went the cheap route. I decided to buy three other remotes before finally breaking and buying this one, and I'm glad I did! The other remotes that I tried could not tap into everything I needed (6 disc cd changer and an old stereo system). They would be able to run some, but not all. The whole reason I went this route was to condense all remotes into one, so that wasn't going to cut it. The Harmony 700 was able to tap all of my devices except my stereo. But since the 700 can "learn" from the original remote, this wasn't a terrible issue. I did not have the original remote for the stereo, but I did manage to get one of the cheap universal remotes to hit on a code for it earlier. I had yet to return the remote, and was able to teach the 700 the stereo commands from the cheap remote. All other devices were found by the online software with no trouble. It was even able to tap into my IR controlled Vaporizer! The initial setup can be a pain at first, especially if you are not tech literate. But once set up, it's amazing. The activity buttons allow you to program commands for the remote to do all at once for starting said activity. You can program the "Watch TV" button to turn your TV on, switch it to the proper input, turn your surround sound on, and whatever else you want it to do. Sometimes the activity button does not turn on all of the components it's supposed to. The "Help" button is great at fixing this, though, and is only a couple of 'Yes/No' prompts. I bought it over three weeks ago, and have yet to charge it a second time. So the 700 seems to do great on battery life. This is likely to change with time, but the batteries are removable, so you can replace them when they become worn out. I don't know what else to write other than the fact that it is super comfortable to hold, lightweight, and so far worth every penny. I got the 2-year replacement plan with it, just in case.

Very Easy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Harmony was very easy to set up via the computer interface. Moreover, it's easy to modify settings and/or devices. We can use this remote entirely by itself - even some of the lesser used functions. I have this remote running a UHDTV, blu ray player, cable box/dvr, and soundbar. The buttons have a nice feel to them and they are backlit. Additionally, a nice feature is that the remote "wakes up" when you pick it up! Battery life, so far, has been fine. All-in-all, a good, solid remote.

Very good devise
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This devise does exactly what I needed it for. It turns my TV, Direct TV Receiver, and Surround sound on with the click of 1 button. If I want to watch a movie on my DVD player I click another button and it turns on my DVD player, TV and surround sound system on, and turns off what I dont need on. If I have any problem I just click a button. It also has rechargeable batteries.

A fine choice for a universal remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: Fairly easy setup, has a great feel and weight to it, and will pretty much work with just about everything -even Apple TVs and Rokus! Cons: Requires a computer to setup (would be better if there were a way to use Bluetooth or wifi to set it up- as many people like myself have done away with a desktop or laptop in favor of just an iPad which has no USB port to sync up) and would be better if the screen were just a little larger. Overall: Great value and worth it if you're looking to replace the million remotes lying around everywhere.

A good choice for a universal remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 700 is a nice remote. I had an older Harmony remote. the setup of the remote was simple and it works great. It has rechargeable batteries which is nice. I do like the fact when you move the remote the back light of the keys comes on automatically. One thing to note the keys below the screen are the only ones backlit., If you get this remote on sale it is a good deal. Remember it only supports 8 devices if you have more you will need to look to a different model.

Great Remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second Logitech remote and I do think they are the best on the market. Setup through the internet is fairly easy and straight forward. I did run into a small problem getting the remote to switch to the proper input mode when watching movies, but a quick call to customer support solved the problem. As a Black Friday deal I paid less than half of the original retail price. Can't beat that!

Logitech Harmony Remotes Are the Best
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had 2 Logitech Harmony remotes for several years now. I actually wore out the buttons on the one in the living room. I bought this one to replace it. The buttons appear cleaner looking, and this one comes with rechargeable batteries. I have it set up to seamlessly operate 6 different devices. I will never go back to my device specific remotes, and there are no other universal remotes in my mind. Anything other than a Logitech Harmony is an imposter!

Great remote!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a harmony remote before and it was great until my kid tossed it and broke the screen. There were no available screens to fix the remote so I went out to buy a new one. This remote will not disappoint. It's very easy to use and setup. Very good for my setup with a smart tv dvr and surround sound system. Get it.. For the price you can't go wrong. It's comparable to higher end models at half the cost. I've had it for 3 months and can't complain.

Does the job as advertised
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While my family is still getting used to this remote, we mostly like it. It does have a bit of a learning curve, but is fairly easy to figure out. It is able to control our Dish box with no problems, along with our DVR service. We also use it for our blu-ray and stereo. Overall we really like it

First Harmomy, Perfect Harmony
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the first modern universal remote that I've had, and WOW, have they improved. The Harmony syncs with all of my devices. I can control my sound bar, my cable box and my tv my pressing one button. The best part about this remote is that I can switch from watching TV to watching a youtube video on my xbox with ease. My pressing one button, the Harmony will change the input and power on my xbox. I love this purchase.

I love this remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok set up dose take some time. But it is very easy. You need to know the model numbers of everything you wish to control. For me that a Tv,receiver,DirecTv,Xbox One, and Apple Tv. You connect the remote to a computer with the supplied usb cable. And all of the setup is done on their website. Not only would I recommend this to a friend but, I have purchased some as gifts.

Great all-purpose controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this control to replace an older Logitech control that had become unreliable. It works like a charm. Very easy to set up and easy to modify when any entertainment unit needs to be deleted, replaced or added. No complaints here. Just hope it lasts longer than the prior one. I do like that you can recharge the batteries too.

Easy to set up and use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this to replace a Harmony 650, since it has the circuitry to recharge the included AA batteries without needing an external charger. The Logitech software made it very easy to copy the devices and activities from my 650 settings to the 700, and it works extremely well. I got this for $50 on Black Friday, a steal at this price.

Great Remote!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This universal remote is a good product and fairly easy to use. It takes a little time to get the unit set up, but it is pretty straight forward. We still have problems with it not doing exactly what it is supposed to do sometimes, but it is very easily fixed. All in all, this is a very nice remote.
