It has a slight learning curve but after tinkering with it for a couple days it works very well. I tried to stay clear of the app but the shear convenience of being able to make changes while not sitting at a pc was super convenient.

If you don't have Alexa or hue lights, consider getting older models that are significantly more affordable. You won't use smart phone compatibility as much as you think.

This is a great remote to start with. You have smart phone options to sync with the hub plus you get a remote. The hub works well with all my devices and I don't have to use the included IR emitter. I have it connected to my smart things hub( TV turns on when I come home and goes to my fav. channel). The remote is not long like most that require two hand operation and it feels comfortable while holding it. Not bulky and awkward.

Like everyone else, I wanted to use a single remote. But I also bought this because it is Alexa compliant. Alexa commands are limited to basics like on, off and channel number. But I kept it anyway since it's so solid as a remote!

This remote has significantly simplified our family entertainment. It replaced the Cable DVR remote, the TV remote, the Roku remote, and an HDMI switch remote. I do not have it connected to other in house smart devices, but plan to do that and integrate it with Google Home also. It's nice that the remote does not need to pointed at anything in particular to operate correctly and having the smart phone app is also a plus.

Lacks the "help" button that its predeccessors had. It fixes things that go awry when sending commands.

This is a replacement for the same remote which died after 3+ years of service. Because my customizations were stored on the myharmony.com, there was nothing to do but plug it in and go. My wife relies on this to operate my mixed collection of pieces, and I confess I like it just as much. I needed the hub to operate our Roku 3 and it does that just fine.

Bought 2 of these, one for family room, one for master bedroom, to coordinate BlueStream Tivo, Roky, BlueRay player and sound. Works like a charm and happy to not have to use multiple remotes, like other families I know do. Logitech a favorite tech company for me and my IT Guru, as well as my TV Installer, and we are not disappointed.

I like that I can push one button and it turns on everything I need to watch a movie. For example, it turns on my TV power, my receiver and the correct HDMI port and the Blu-ray player on with a single button. You can program up to six buttons.

Super easy to program. Controls almost every device out there. Also comes with a easy to use app.

I'm used to the older generation that had everything in the remote, no hub needed. The hub needs to be in front of my LG TV in order to turn on/off. It works behind my Sony sound bar. Overall was very easy to setup and use.

This remote was easy to setup and easy to use. The only issue that I have noticed is that the unit at times has some lag as it seams like the receiver box locks up or looses connection with the remote. Other than that it's a great product.

I bought this to replace my Harmony 900 series remote. There was nothing wrong with my old remote. I don't have a bunch of devices and didn't really like the touch screen on the 900. Too many accidental touches. This solved my problem with a smaller streamlined package that just works every time. Definitely worth the price.

As a standalone or with more Hubs added these work great. They lose one star for the lack of backlighting on the remote. Easy to integrate with IoT systems and voice assistants for your non IP connected devices.

This remote system is amazing. No matter what you have it will work with it. I am currently running a 4 port HDMI switch, TiVo, Nexus Player, and an A/C unit. It also works pretty well with the Google Assistant. I went with this over the cheaper Harmony Smart Control for the position of the buttons. I know it's a dumb thing to spend an extra $80 on but it makes a big difference to me.

Only thing I was disappointed with is that it really doesn't control the lights as it describes.

This remote is one of my best purchases of all time. It is easy to set up with your phone. You can use your phone as a remote. The physical remote control feels great in your hand and the layout of the buttons is very intuitive. Best of all is the customization of the remote. Make the buttons do whatever you want them to. Highly recommended to all!

Harmony app makes this easy to install. Overall I love this remote, but be aware that if you have older components, the installation can be a bit more challenging because there is less automation of the process. For newer components it is a breeze.
