We owned another Harmony a few years ago but it became obsolete with all the new technology. We currently have a Samsung TV remote. Samsung soundbar remote, Firestick remote, Fios remote & 1 more which escapes me. It was always a challenge knowing which one to use since the FIOS remote didn't control everything. The Guru at Best Buy told us this was a good Harmony choice and it had a light to see the panel. It does NOT have a light so that is a real huge downfall when you're using it & want to make a change to your channel, etc. Also, it will not change your choice easily from TV to Firestick or Hulu/Netflix. The volume control doesn't work most of the time depending on which app you are in. The biggest thing that we did that helped us was we downloaded the Harmony App to an older ipad that we don't use often because it's older & runs slow--and we pretty much now use the ipad as the Harmony remote! It works great--you can switch from FIOS to Hulu or Firestick or whatever very quickly. It is so much better than the 5 or 6 remotes . So, I would not recommend this Harmony-but I do recommend the app!

Love this remote! I have all of my electronics hidden behind my tv stand and it just makes it look that much better! Sometimes the remote has issues starting it, but the app on my phone works just fine for it. All in all, totally worth the money!

With the new technology coming out and that which is already out, I am glad to have purchased this remote. It works well with Alexa, Plex, Apple and the list goes on. FYI, this remote only allows for up to 8 devices . If you need more than 8 devices hooked up, I would either buy a remote that allows for more, or do what I did and purchase 2 separate devices. I love them!

We have used various Harmony remotes during the years. They have always lasted for a long time. This one is different for us as we can use our phones as our remote. And it doesn't have to be pointed at the TV. We are older and my husband is not the least "techy" person, but he learned quickly how to use it.

Fantastic universal remote system

This is a fantastic product. It was straightforward to program and controls all my devices (TV, home theater receiver, satellite receiver, Blu-Ray player, Roku) perfectly. It was easy to customize the buttons as needed. The concept of using radio frequency (RF) signaling between the remote and the hub eliminates the need to maintain line-of-site between the two. The inclusion of an IR blaster also facilitated setup. The app was far easier to use than the software I had with my old Harmony remote.
Many have noted the lack of backlighting on this remote. This is definitely a deficiency in a dark room and should be included in the next version. The buttons are a bit small but with practice one can memorize the locations of the often-used ones. The lack of a screen does not take away from the system and probably saves a lot of power so batteries last longer. Even with a couple of drawbacks I still give this product 5 stars and strongly recommend it.

Very Good Remote, Overall.

This is a very good remote. Setup was relatively easy and, compared to the prior Harmony (900) which I had, is very responsive. Virtually no lag between a button press and the system responding. It is also well balanced - feels good in your hands. A few issues: The keys not having backlighting is a tradeoff with battery size/life, however that does pose an issue until you get used to the layout. Secondly, sometimes the system stops responding. It can be fixed by turning off and on, but I have yet to figure out what the issue is. This is not very frequent. Finally, the set of keys for home control (light dimming and turning outlets on/off) cannot be reprogrammed for anything else. They are left unused if you don't have a home control application. Overall, it is an excellent remote, which I would recommend.

It was not easy to set up. I have two tv's in the same area. Whatever I did to one it would work on both. I wanted this so I could control just the tv that I watched. The other tv I used for a monitor. I was able to set up the remote to work, but I'm still working on trying to get it connected with alexa

This is the best remote control you will find. The only possible upgrade is the full-color version, but it's a bit more expensive. The Harmony hub enables you to set up any type of device, in multiple scenes. I also have this integrated into a SmartThings hub, as well as Alexa. It's very versatile, and something I will be adding to other TVs in the house as well!

This product was easy to setup and with Alexa integrated it allows us to turn on / off our tv and some other basics but thats where the product lacks depth, the iOS app is a welcome addition adding functionality the remote lacks

Great remote to get rid of multiple remotes, especially for bedroom. Controls tv, netflix, cable, Firestick, soundbar...Doesn't not control RF devices though. Only reason for 4 stars.

Despite sensitivity when touching the buttons, the Harmony remote is an excellent choice. It replaces our previous all-in-one remote, which was purchased over 10-years ago. Our present system will require time to become familiar with due to the various features. The Geek reps did an excellent job in carefully explaining the real benefits of the system.

Love using voice commands to turn on my entertainment center and change to channels. Set up was easy. When I can't find the remote, I just pick up my phone or tablet. The only complaint I have is that the remote is not backlit.

Takes some time and effort to set up but it walks you through the setup. Works as advertised. Push one button and all of the components needed for an activity come on and go to the right settings.

I was hoping for one remote to rule them all. While it generally does I don't like the physical remote. The number buttons are to small. It doesn't control the playstations as much as I would like. Setup was a problem because my router is dual band so when my phone using 5gh band the hub is using 2.4gh band and didn't recognize was on same network. Once I was able to setup it failed from time to time when clicking the button. I would have like a few more scene options.(has 6)
Not sure it was worth the price of admission but I kept it and use it. I like that it changes all the devices with one button to put it into the mode of what I want to do.

The product is very easy to set up. Since I had previously owned a Harmony Remote 650, it was very easy to copy the commands from my online account that I had previously established. It is nice to have the remote commands on the phone but it can be a little cumbersome to have to slide between screens to access the different commands.

This has huge potential, but the system & app is overly complicated & the app is not intuitive 9r easy to use or modify your settings. Although I have it working for the most part now, after having this product for 3 weeks now, I find that I am not using it as much just because it is hard to get used to the button mapping on the included remote. The app is not user friendly and all the pages you have to scroll through to get to the settings. I'm hoping logitech can sort out the app so you can drag & drop the items you want onto one single page for multiple devices.

Enjoying the Amazon Alexa integration

This remote has a much better button layout compared to the Harmony Touch I had before. Set up was fairly easy using the iPad app and I appreciate the ability to tweak the settings right on my mobile device instead of having to hook up to a computer. The integration with Amazon Alexa is nice and I enjoy being able to pause and mute the tv by voice. I am also using it to control my Philips Hue lights. It works for turning the lights off and on, and you can integrate light settings into your activities. I was hoping for a little more control of the lighting with the buttons. The light buttons can only turn lights off/on and adjust brightness. No control over colors when you have a color bulb. I still think the old Harmony 670 was the best remote ever made.
